I do not own a Pyrite in any form. It was one of those deals where there was so much hype around it it kind of turned me off. But now I think it was just the fact that I was waiting for this one in particular. Love the bowie shape. This will be my next knife purchase. Good critique also. Spot on.
Appreciate you showcasing knives for us to help demonstrate to us knives we would not ordinarily be able to handle in person. It is an invaluable tool to help decide whether we want to pull the trigger on it or not. The "cool factor" alone is not enough. I am convinced on this model. BTW the finish on that model is a work of art.
The black stonewash is super dark and I'm a big fan of that as well, now I want one in s90v, and in the xl size..there's something wrong with me I know😂
This is the one that persuaded me to finally buy a Pyrite (aside from my Mini Pyrite). The Ekko is the best CJRB so far for me. My wooden scale one is supposed to be here tomorrow. We shall see.
Was focussing on copper scale knives, but when I saw the rose gold Bowie Pyrite, and added a leather thong with some copper beads, it was magical. And exceptionally sharp out of the box (+ case and cloth) quite a package!
I just ordered this and I’m excited about it. I feel like this knife would look awesome with a flipper. Would have been a great opportunity! Hopefully they’ll do an XL version and add a flipper!
I love the premium perfect pyrite variants. But a premium version of this in ti/ dunes fat carbon with stone washed blade would be tits. I’d buy one fast.
I mentioned this on another vid I saw of this knife, but I feel like the constant refinement and evolution of this knife is similar to the path the QSP Penguin took. I’ll see if they give it the dress-up treatment - that’s be pretty exciting too, methinks.
So I have a rule when I'm on the fence..if I know it will be available in a few weeks I'll sleep on it..and if I'm still thinking about it 2 weeks later I'm pulling the trigger. This one is in my opinion the best pyrite they've made but I'm interested to find out if you end up picking one up🍻
@@Rollshambo I’m sure I will. I do the same thing and usually give it a week or so. Butters remorse is brutal lol. But with things like the Rosie, I jump on the deals immediately
Hey, thanks for the video! You like the Bowie blade. Have you seen the Petrified Fish Victor, now with Aluminum scales and 154cm for 70 dollars opr something. A handfull! Big one. There is an older version also, budget.
Thanks for watching! Yeah the Victor is one of my favorite(if not my favorite) sub $100 knives, I've checked out the micarta version and more recently the aluminum/154cm version and I think that all variations are pretty awesome - if you wanted to see my review I'll shamelessly plug that video here 😂 ---> th-cam.com/video/avzNL1LrRJg/w-d-xo.htmlsi=Fj0a0yVIhbJg7cd7
It's just pinning it at the balance point between your index and middle finger and twisting your wrist...its taken some practice and it's not ideal or pleasing to do on all Knives but once you get it down it's fun and I've used it as an excersise to increase my poor sausage finger dexterity a little bit...be warned I've cut myself and dropped my knives plenty so if you decide to try and learn how do it with a cheap knife and get the bandaids ready..cheers🍻

I did get a Mini Pyrite, but, like you, I didn't like the hype. Mine should be here tomorrow.
Frickin killer little blade brother!! The clip point makes the knife. THIS IS SPARTA!!
I hope they release an xl version, would love to see this in the bigger size with this blade! Thanks for watching Dion🍻

Pretty friggin’ sweet! Good morning RSB! Nice job! 👍 as always!
I’d buy one if it had a flipper option.

Bought into the hype of the regular pyrite last summer and the hype is legit. But this bowie looks like a whole new level. I need it.
The combo of the bladeshape with studs and a fuller is excellent, I'm really digging it
I just ordered a Titanium Bowie Pyrite for 70 bucks I cant wait to get it
Mine should be in tomorrow! Love Bowies, love button locks and this one is so perfect.
Congrats on the pickup!
Same. Hard to pass up on bowie and buttonlock
The black Civivi titanium pocket clip fits and looks great on this knife! Comes with T8 hardware also. 🖤🙌

I have the SS version and love it, great and interesting blade shape...just looks bad ass.
After watching this review i think I'll snag one.
I have one on the way and it'll be my first pyrite. Was gonna get the alt or something pyrite but when this came before my eyes sheeeit she's gorgeous
The blade islike a new and exotic Lamborghini and the handle is like a 1986 Ford Taurus.
Do you mean actual feel? I never touched the knife, did handle feel bad? It looks great IMHO

An XL version would be killer🔥🔥🔥

Im getting the titanium bolster knife center version.
I’m fighting the urge to order one still. I’ve been for days.
Order one for me then. Those Canadians have to wait a looonnggg time for this to show up in stock

Would love to see a comparison video between the Bowie pyrite and PF Victor😊
Might be able to make that happen!
I’ve heard the satin blades have better reverse flickin action than the coated blades with that fuller, as they catch on the finger better.
Rose gold one is on its way ,love my all black alt warn blade
Good vid Rolly , looks pretty sik I must admit 💯
Funk Haven
It needs a flipper
How the frick do you twirl the knife like that

Could’ve been knife of the year if it had been 8 inches or larger
What makes this not the best pyrite is the ultra weak blade tip. I like blades with more back bone on the tip.
So annoying that all the nice wood handle variants of this knife are right pocket carry only. Why leave us lefties out in the cold?!
It's only a matter of time, I'd bet they rectify that before too long
No!
