I also have a damascus version and I'm currently waiting for the delivery of my third one today (08/07/2024). It's the green micarta version with black Nitro-V blade. I also ordered a Tranquil in tan G10 and black blade. 🙂

Hope you're fine. They are smart with their way of making knives, a 3 steps process, if a model works fine they refine it more & more in qualities. Maybe made in China but material conception isn't. Not the strongest blades but knife is mainly for cutting= all good. :)

Chinese knives are very dependent upon who made then when...quality is all over the map...I've bought 27 of them and 5 have gone into the trash...a few are superb.

I find that primary reason is the price of Chinese knives is usually about 1/3 of the cost of what American would be for the same quality.
