30k is how the dealer gets you in there. Then their gonna try and hit you with a 5k "market adjustment" because they'll tell you these cars are in high demand and are hard to come by, which is BS. Then they are gonna try and hit you with another $4700 appearance package fee. I was at Honda last night and they tried that with me. It didn't work. I reminded them that the 3 SI's that they had on the lot have been sitting there for over 2 months. They waived the 5k and took 2500 off the appearance package. Yeah they still made money but I wasn't about to get steamrolled with the extra fees.
Yeah similar experience with mine. I got this exact car a couple days ago. Tho, I got lucky that the dealer used to be in a northeast band that plays the same circuit as mine. So we knew a lot of the same people, and we were talking guitars etc.. So he adjusted a lot of the bs fees without me having to make a fuss. Also, the car appeared 10 min from my house, when I had all but given up on getting the sonic grey that I wanted. Which was weird because I NEVER have luck with anything lol… Anyway, enjoy your new car!
They’re scamming usa residents. In Canada Honda dealers sell it at msrp now with no “hidden costs” anymore. They did carona era. And worst of all, usa civic get less features.
Is Honda angry at usa ?
That's why u call and settle on a deal before stepping in there use your noggin this is negotiating
Not hard to find one that’s not marked up.
just got one not marked up go to family owned honda

I keep my eyes open for that video bro.
It’s crazy how inflation is affecting car prices. When the 11th gen civic Si came out it was under 29k now it’s 30k. It was a good value under 30k but the more expensive it gets the harder it is to justify especially since in the US when get less stuff than the Canadian spec. It’s still a great car but idk that’s close to Elantra N prices.
I know but the elantra n is ugly asf in my opinion, also I saw that's its an automatic with pedals eh didint like that, I think the si can also be moded to hell to look like an even better beast
@@ryue5626the Elantra N comes with a manual and a DCT. Maybe your thinking of the Elantra N-line. The Elantra N line is more of a si competitor with 201 Hp at $28,615.Meanwhile the Elantra N is $32,900 and it has a 2.0t with 275 Hp or 286 Hp with the DCT with the NGS button. The front end of the car is questionable, no doubt about it. Luckily the Elantra N is getting a refresh and the front end looks waaaaay better
I love the SI and it's limited slip differential. I always speed up hard when i go on those loopy 25 mph exit ramps and marvel as my car doesn't flip over when i go 55 mph
God help whoever buys this car after he beat the hell out of it.
I’ve had a 24 si for just over a month now here in Canada the difference in accessories is honestly weird! I have dual climate, heated front and rear seats, LED fog lamps, heated steering wheel, full nav, wireless charger, dual display ( rpm gauge and speedometer have the options), and full 360 parking sensors. I honestly love this car though!
K.
Are you serious?! Why do some countries get more/ less features?
LOL. The base price for the Civic Si in Canada is THIRTY-SEVEN THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED & NINETY THREE Canadian dollars. That's even more than the Acura Integra Type-S ($37,100) with all those options you think you're getting as a bargain. In the states, the Civic Si tops out at $30,650. Canadians get SCREWED by the thousands, when it comes to pricing.
@@fp5495 I didn’t even think of a price difference since everyone said that it was the same model
@@fp5495 do the currency conversion rate…..
As a SI driver since 2014-2020Si as the last great model they made.
It's sad that a company like Honda
Stock itself in quicksand
And not improved itself
Vs other manufacturers.
No more 2door
Less horse power
Less appealing
No more dual climate control, no more adaptive dampers, no more foglights, no more heated seats. But more curb weight and way more MSRP!
I bought a 24’ civic si a little over two weeks ago and so far am loving it. I had a sport hb previously and loved that but was looking for a little more power.
Can you live with rev-hang?
@@SoichiroSan , it’s somewhat noticeable but doesn’t really bother me very much.
Top speed of it?
Whatever you do, don't believe there bullshit oil change intervals. Change it every 5,000 miles.
hows it been treating you?
I put a deposit on one. It doesn’t hit the production line until 10/15- 10/19th. Can’t wait to get it. Nice review!!!
We did the same.
How is the car?!
@hydrafreeze8814 wife loves it. I have yet to drive it. She should enjoy it more first, since it's her gift
@@sierra0884 looking at picking one up, just up here in the north east hard to find them that aren’t preorders or already spoken for by the time they arrive!
in canada we have heated seats, heated wheel, wireless charger, turn signals on the side mirrors and two USB charging ports for the rear passengers
This car looks so much better in person. A friend is looking into getting one imported from Canada. Apparently it is much easier now. I hope he does. That Canadian SI model is over the top.
The Canadian model which I have is far far better than the American one
But aren't there laws affecting him import Cara from Canada?
How is it better?
@@axrs550 search online
@@axrs550more or less it has everything the sort touring has in the SI.
That's awesome, the Canadian one has so many nice features. Do you know if it still has a warranty?
I had a 2020 civic si and sold it to buy a house🥲 i bought the house now i want a 2024 si😂
First of all, the video was taken to close to the car. Take a few steps back when you're showing the exterior. Second, you never really showed the side profile of the car. It's important to show the side profile straight on, not on an angle. Many customers are very interested in the side view which many times is your bestselling feature.
Only question I have is who the heck is putting shoes in their glove box and liters of soda in their armrest compartment? 🤣🤣
Now my first new Honda Civic sedan to buy.
Are they really selling that car at 30k ? Or are they jacking the price up to 37k ?
El Paso Honda in El Paso Tx is selling with a $5k markup.
In Mckinney TX Honda it’s a 6K Markup LMAO
I just picked one up for MSRP in NY
Will be getting this car for sure, nice review 🔥
Be ready to spend 38k for a Civic then.
Love my si. Been a blast to drive and way more practical than my coyote mustang.
Finding one is my issue...
My Corolla Se can cruises at 80 at just above 2K RPM. Already over 2K going about 55 mph is a deal breaker for me. I imagine close to 4K at 80 mph. Yikes.
I own a 24 Si, it sits at 3100 going 80.
@@Its_GNthanks for the info. That’s not too bad.
Fun assignment today, Will. Great ride, reasonable price, punches above its class. Good job!
ive owned one for about 8 months and i can say u better be ready to deal with the rev hang. its so bad it makes such a big difference. u almost got to push the clutch in for a whole 3 seconds when shifting gears
I just changed my civic SI 2018 and I loved that car so much! I miss it very much! It's a good car and it got some power!
Waiting for paperwork to clear, the review is keeping me a little more manageable lol
Are you close to a Checkers? And how quick could you get me there in that Civic Si?
I consider to buy a 24' Honda Civic SI sedan.
Nice reveiw Mke sure u give the guy ahead one month notice before passing 😢
Buy Canadian SI 2024. You get more features.
How
Damn, I should’ve gotten this instead of an Altima… for a few thousand dollar more I would’ve gotten a way more reliable vehicle
29k is bullsh!t. Out local honda dealership has one for sale at 38k
We got a few local dealerships selling at msrp
does it got vtec?
damn i hope i dont buy this car this dude is beating the crap and overrevving a car with 5 miles on it just to sell it to someone at 5k over msrp and act like its new
Manual transmission?
Yes. Si only come in manual
I love how much he genuinely enjoys the test drive
Leaning toward this for my daily because of the cost and mileage it gets. Only scare I have now is the issues Honda is having with sticky steering :(
stay away from these modern hondas
@@BearThatSwingswhy
I could practically hear the dreaded rev-hang, yet if I'm not mistaken there was no mention of it. It was present in my 10th-gen Civic, and super annoying at that. Wondering if there's a way to rectify it via ECU. Otherwise if you can get this car at sticker, it's a screaming bargain. Looks very well made, and fuel economy is superb. Also love (and have owned) the Hyundai Elantra N, but it's built like a tin can and the manual gearbox sucks to use.
2020 SI just got totaled 😢 here to see what the new one got for me 😊 All I know, that the 2020 was way better just by this video. but i need a new car. 🤷🏽♀️
Great video. I have a 10th gen si and I love it. It’s just waist I wanted. It reminds me of my old integra gs-r, but way more torque down low
Honda needs to give up on the 1.5l.. if you put turbo on a 1.5 weak engine that engine won't last as long. Honda needs to add a 2.5l turbo engine in the civic si. That would be a car id buy.
Great Job Brother! Thanks!
Im 6'5 and i kinda barely fit in it but i still liked it and could probably find a way to get comfy in it
Great car and review. Thx.
Detailers don’t know how to clean a windshield 😭
Awesome video!!
My 2014 si is way better and cooler.
Is it just me or does the exhaust on the SI sound better than the Type R?
Has they update anything on 24 since it's 3rd year maybe ass heater etc
Nice vehicle. It should have the full digital dash cluster which includes a temperature gauge not an idiot light.
Come to Canada to get the full digital cluster and temp gauge
you can get h it here but only on the top trim.@@1anre
I feel like full digital is worse than the analog
@@craftminer49er wrong. It's the best
Not sure of the top speed…
My 22 civic si still only has 16k mi
Cool ass car 6 speed manual awesome
Ever hit 3rd gear? Lmao
I can't wait for mine to come in a few weeks. getting the algean blue colored one :)
That’s my dream car! I can’t quite afford a 2024 yet so I’ll have to settle for a used 2022 which doesn’t come in blue.
Great review, thank you
Does it have remote start?
no lol its a manual
Sad..Only company that keeps making the engine weaker
This is not a attractive looking car.
Been driving Si 2doors 2013
2016 2020 model why would a previous so owner purchase another one with less performance. RIP Civic Si 2020.
It’s basically a sport with just lsd
Good video brother
Personally.. The car is pretty boring looking... Not much style. Looks like just another commuter car and the exhaust is meh. Interior isn't that great either for $30,000.
What are you talking about? Find a better sub-$35k interior…
@@AndrewGeleffKia forte gt
Love u bro!🎉
Love it
No fog lights on the Si?
The Canadian version has that
Great video. Deal breaker as there is no temperature gauge.
In the Canadian trim, yes there is
Holy crap. I missed this note. Why would a temp gauge ever be omitted on a car???
Great review. Do you think ride is too firm?
A little when brand new.. but it’ll break in a bit. My wifes Lexus felt similar right off the lot, but it has a softer feel after 20k. Or you could spend an extra 10 grand and get the Integra with dampeners! Lol
Does it have adaptive dampers?
No those are available on the Integra… you also get leather and some other high-end conveniences but 25% more. If you don’t like a Manual go for the Integra.
Civic SI is a much better value though… but if you like the features and don’t mind the price, Integra Manual is a great choice, it’s great on cornering with the adaptive dampers.
A test drive of both would be great and they’re both Honda products so very similar.
The a spec integra does. But the steering, engine, dashboard look can all be adjusted from within the car
@@SCraig-Handsome a couple of months ago I found civic SIs in two dealerships. They both had "market adjustment" charges and one of them had like $3k of BS dealer installed equipment. At the end the price was very close to an Integra a-spec with tech package, so I just bought the Integra instead of the SI. Drives the same and it has a ton of features more, plus some nicer interior materials.
@@Aki_Lesbrinco Nice choice, A-Spec MT?
200hp sucks. Fail if you ask me
