My friend Nicholas started making videos a couple years ago, i mentioned to him that he should remove the background music while talking. It makes for a much better viewing experience

I just saw your Pontoon boat clip where you said you were given sht for saying a pontoon boat was flooded - They can and will flood - Keep in mind this deck was around 3 feet above the water - they are very weak the way they were made back then - I went thru Haulover around midnight back in late 1988 in a 27 footer with fiberglass plaining pontoons that was sold as an ocean-going boat to me - It was made in Tennessee - this was the fifth and last time I took it out, I also had a 17 foot Aquasport/Del Quay at the time that I loved - My oldest daughter was with me and as soon as we cleared the channel she started getting sea sick so I made a U-turn and headed back at full speed since it was dead calm five min before - It had a Johnson 125 so it could move - out of nowhere the cut opened up and the bow drop a little and dug in - thankfully I had just moved the front seats closer to the front rail that morning and the water busted the entire front rail loose but held most of the water back but it still hit me in the captains seat busting every screw but one and barley kept me from being washed overboard - my daughter was laying across the back seat so she was under water but not knocked over board as well - the bow was now up in around a 30% angle and the water was covering the entire back seat, at least 18" deep and most of my daughter till she got up - I made her go to the front to try and lower the bow - turns out my firearm, battery and everything else under the seat was underwater - this boat was designed with no way for the water to exit - somehow the motor kept running for me to get past under the bridge to calm water were I opened the doors and spent at least 30 min going from forward to reverse in order to force enough water out to get to the ramp and put it on the trailer - I did have to make a hole in the back to drain the rest of the water to get it on the trailer - My business partner was a 1/2 owner on the boat and the next time he wanted to take it out I said have fun, I am not going to tow it and be responsible for anyone else on it - it sat in storage until about six months after Andrew when he found someone to buy it for 6K - we paid 29K for it new - I did not care how much I lost I just wanted it gone -

Awesome! Our family has a lowland 87'
Although it was built I believe originally closer to 78'.

It's surprisingly fuel effecient, we have the larger version with the same engines and we can go to the nice anchorages in our area for about the same fuel cost as our 26' boat. Albeit the tender gets their much faster. Fuel economy on ours is 0.5mpg but really isn't that bad all considered. Insurance is the killer
