I preach the gig economy, how to make money and how to get started in the gig economy and though I have a lot of experience in some aspects of the gig economy, there are still a lot of apps I have never tried! So, that brings us to today's video.
Next week, I will be doing a video where I deliver for UberEats to see how much money I can make in profit, but the first step in that is actually signing up for an UberEats account. So, that is what I will be doing today. Let's go!

Wanted to give y'all an update, so my application was denied lol. My 1997 4Runner does not qualify so I am doing it with one of my Turo vehicles instead, which was approved. I will post an update video once I actually give UberEats a try, just trying to logistically plan out when I am going to do it since my Turo vehicles aren't often available.

So i just discovered that my Uber account was deactivated after a little issue i had with my riders and which she reported, then i asked *cohacking__* on instagram and he restored the account back to me almost immediately.
So I need to download the regular Uber app to get to Uber eats? I’m Driving myself crazy trying to find an Uber eats app by itself

You can definitely make good side money doing this line of work. But I firmly believe that this line of work is meant EXCLUSIVELY as a side hustle. This not meant to be anyone’s main source of income. If it you’re in trouble.👍
Great vid. I can make 200-300/day I do this as a side hustle I'm also a mobile notary, tax preparer and travel business owner. So when I'm not with a client I'm on my hustle and it can be done anywhere that provides ubereats services. I'm also thinking about TH-cam as well. Why not right?

My Uber Eats driver admitted he had covid-19 upon delivery he's still able to deliver the food I couldn't eat the food I called to complain They said he self-employed not going to be done

I guess it changed but now I need to put in all that stuff plus a screenshot of a mechanical inspection AND a formation certificate at a taxi school? It's as if i'm singing up to be a uber driver, not a uber eat delivery driver. I don't understand bcause every Uber Eats site or app redirects me to the same page where I have to enter all those infos. I can't even choose between the 4 options like you showed in the beginning of the video!

I think the driver app glitched. I'm at where I choose my city and click continue. It doesn't do anything. Background check and vehicle information is done.

Did you end up getting the inspection? I’m trying to sign up & I’m stuck at this point. I’m so pissed! I shouldn’t have to go spend money to sign up for Uber eats.. I don’t even know if there’s a waitlist! And I can’t find any info on it.
I applied to become a delivery driver for UE and it's been a nightmare for 3 weeks now. I had to submit my documents and SSN twice, and they're still reviewing them. Called costumer support numerous times and they don't do anything besides repeating the written script in front of them, I'm very frustrated with Uber.

How long did it take for everything to approved?
I ended up getting denied lol and then I had to resubmit with a different vehicle that qualified. Still waiting on my approval

You buy all your cars just wondering how you afford them all I listen to a lot of Turo videos and it seems like leasing would be the way to go Less output of cash and down payment and maintenance you can give it back to dealer when lease is over. Sounds like a great exit strategy. Saimah’s Experience I watched she only leases . I live in Vegas
My cars are cheap, so I spend on average about 3,000-4,000 per car. When you start out, you can just buy them slowly and when you have more cashflow you can buy them more quickly - my first year on Turo I put all my profit into buying more cars which allowed me to get to 10 cars relatively quickly. I personally don't like the leasing model - as there is more risk when it comes to overage miles, less control as they aren't your own cars and in general I believe that the downside is quite a bit larger. But, that is just my opinion. There are of course more than one way to do a Turo business.

it depends on the market for sure - you are going to have a group of people in Vegas who want to of course drive nice cars because they are there for vacation. But there is also a segment that just lives in vegas and needs a car to get from point A to point B. I'd look at Turo and see what cars have a lot of trips - that could be a good indicator of what cars could work.
ive uploaded everything and its asking me select a city. when I choose a city and hit continue nothing happens. I've tried pushing the continue button numerous times and still nothing. Am I missing something?

Hope prop 22 passes cause im in California and need this to survive. I been making 1k a week doing uber eats. Past 2 months just about 8k made
Wow! That’s impressive! How many hours per day are you driving?
5-10 hours a day. 38-45 hours a week just about 100 trips completed a week. If you follow uber eats nationwide on FB group page you will see people posting $1500 a week earnings. Obviously the money you make all depends on the effort you put in. I live in San Diego CA and best time are dinner rushes. Now uber allows you to see what you make in tips and fare before accepting a request. You can deny as many as you want until you have a fare you like. Customers input tips as they check out and have a hour to adjust tips if they want. I usually work from like 9am -4pm make a quick $120. Take 2 hour break. Drive from 6pm to 9pm or less and make another $70. Dinner rush is the best. Alot of surges and a lot of $10-$30 fares. So I easily make about $150+ a day but again all depends on your market and how busy it is.

I've had nothing but trouble trying to sign up for Uber eats. I've been trying to sign up for a week and I'm still not able to deliver yet.
I think they're having issues too. I'm on the last step and the page literally does nothing when I click proceed or continue. I'm trying to work right away. This doesn't help to make my situation any better.

That’s awesome! I feel so conflicted about bringing it back 😭 I want to, but a big finance TH-camr gave me the advice of being “unproblematic” in order to grow on TH-cam, so I’ve decided for the time being to take that advice. We will see though, maybe I’ll bring it back one day

During the period from 10 Feb 2022 to 1 Mar 2022 my 13 year old grandson spent A$1855.94 on Uber eats in Sydney Australia without my knowledge or permission. Deliveries were not made to my address. Previously I had only used Uber eats from time to time. My grandson's deliveries were a totally new pattern and new address. Why was there no security check? He just copied the details from my card and was able to proceed. I feel entitled to some reimbursement. How do I proceed to apply for it?

I’m not looking to do it for myself long term, I’m too busy with other projects at the moment, But I’m interested in seeing how much someone can make in a night and comparing that against the cost of driving (ie: insurance, gas, wear and tear...etc)
