I would have to work 120hrs a week to afford the average studio/one-bedroom apartment here.
Actually, the population would need a sharp decrease in order for the cost of living to go down. Many Western countries are becoming overpopulated thanks to mass immigration from strictly third world countries that have significantly higher populations. Importing them to many major cities in the West has backfired. Higher population = higher cost of living. Lower population = lower cost of living. We are over 8 billion now. The more people that come to the West, the higher the cost of living will be..

I live in Canada, but have definitely ordered fast food at 6:30am before. I used to work night shift cleaning grocery stores while they were closed and sometimes when getting off work, I wanted to stuff my face with fast food. Burger King was my most ordered because it was one of the few places I could get a burger and fries at 6:30am. I always tip drivers more when I order super late at night/super early in the morning.

@@cyberdyne3442 hey man this guy spends 4-6 hrs to make his wages, the bike thief only a few minutes. Most cities won't bother to help or discourage either one.
I think they updated their rules etc to pay more. I did this in 2019 driving in Australia (I’m Englishman) and I made about $70 for the week but put in more than $100 of fuel to do so. It’s not worth it. Uber need to pay more. They suck you in with the first delivery usually paying you close to the maximum for the trip (here in Australia is about $11) then they drop off if you are lucky enough to get the next job before somebody else gets the job. So you gradually drop in pays each job until you reach about $2-3 each job if you are lucky. What sucks more is Uber take a big cut out of the delivery service but don’t tend to share that with the ones ACTUALLY doing the work.
I'm just new to your channel, what I've watched I've liked, I sometimes panic when you've left your bike outside thinking someone is going to nick it, but thankfully it hasn't happened, I feel for you when your getting soaked and doing a delivery for £3.50, this is Choppy in Whitehaven, Cumbria, England

I am using a quad lock which is a bit cumbersome to attatch
Thank you 😊
You might already know this, but under the display on the zebra is a usb port, so you can charge your phone off the bike…hope it helps, love the vids, you are very polite young man, keep up the good work! Much love
Hey yep I know but it's soooo slow to charge my phone, the power bank I got is 26,500mah and its fast charge
@@LondonEats, I have a medium waterproof handlebars bag where I toss an external battery so it can charge while riding. If theft is high, you'll have to grab it when you go in places, but I usually just toss it in my back pocket.
i dont know why im so sucked into delivery content but this is comforting lol
Still so crazy to me that you have to go inside up to people's doors!! In my country you have to go out and meet them.
I've delivered via ebike before, bosch motor/battery on turbo w/85 ft lbs of torque, can only ride for an hour and do 2-3 deliveries.
I'm plenty strong enough but range is still a problem with ebikes unfortunately, when the battery dies then
I'm pedaling a 55lb bike and that's no fun!
You're a legend mate. Love the content and couldnt agree more! Start early to get the headstart!
I did gig work a few years ago during the pandemic and it was great but the pay has gone downhill since then and I can’t justify the expense and wear on my vehicle. It’s bad. Hopefully things change. It was fun while it lasted. $20-$30 a delivery was nice. Now it’s like $5-$7 👎 people are spending more on the food and do not want to tip anymore.
I started delivering on escooter recently in my city. The pay is alright just hoping i get more orders that are closer. Either way it’s a good gig for now at least.
I completely agree that going out in the morning and getting a head start makes the day go a little easier on hitting your daily target. Cheers from a fellow delivery driver from Phoenix Arizona!
£24 on Maccies hash browns? I'm in! 🔥
Geno of kids includedv
at that point its better to buy frozen ones and heat them up at home lol
I need to make a video about doing some trips at 6 AM in Barcelona, you are a great motivation man... I enjoy so much your Zebra shifts... Greetings
I work for Uber Eats and recently they bumped up the fees of deliveries a bit..., but they removed quests (at least in my area) without saying they would at the same time! This LOWERED my overall income unless I go to a very busy area
I've stopped getting deliveries, too meny messed up orders. Love the channel. 😊
First time watching and I'm hooked! Mad respect for being out yhere so early on a bike!! #yournewestsubscriber
Was thinkin myself how interestin this could be... then I checked some of the tools you use and was like "Wow, affording all that is insanity for this type of thing"
1600 for the bike... several hundred for the lock... and no idea about all the other things on that bike.
Crazy.
So peaceful listening to the bike and the roads are clearrrrr definitely should come to Belfast ❤
Honestly cycling in the early morning feels really nice, especially when less sunny and less cars
When those hashbrowns are hot, fresh, and cooked right, there's nothing better. Crunchy on the outside, moist on the inside. I don't blame em!
Aldi or Lidl do a snide frozen one, wack in air fryer for 10 mins, beautiful
I miss living round there so much sometimes. Thanks for the nostalgia trip.
Who the hell orders MCdonalds or any type of fast food at 6am on a Sunday 😅😂 astonishing there is a market to be serviced at that hour and for this calibre of food!!!
People who were probably partying and have the munchies.
Here I am not eating McDonald’s in over 3 years.
Early risers and people who have been out drinking
They are nuts… digesting this low quality food even in the prime hours of the day is hard… starting at 6 with home delivered MacDs 😂 good luck. At least walk to the frikin shop
Not everyone does ' normal hours '
may i ask if we dont get a order right that time , so we just moving around right ?
Having to lock your bike just to spend 2 minutes inside a Mcdonalds AT 6 IN THE MORNING. Sheesh. Talk about a low trust society.
London is a shithole
Having lived in London for 8 years left me tell you; it's a fkn sewer filled with rats.
@@cyberdyne3442 just say black people
@@cyberdyne3442 hey man this guy spends 4-6 hrs to make his wages, the bike thief only a few minutes. Most cities won't bother to help or discourage either one.
Why is this so relaxing
Also your work ethic is admirable and hopefully inspiring people
Getting that money. Good to see.
Islington area will be a good shift for you
I'm just new to your channel, what I've watched I've liked, I sometimes panic when you've left your bike outside thinking someone is going to nick it, but thankfully it hasn't happened, I feel for you when your getting soaked and doing a delivery for £3.50, this is Choppy in Whitehaven, Cumbria, England
