@SebScreen Have you ever thought of creating a watchlist loaded with your reactions to the MCU entitled MCU AVENGERS Reactions? What your journeying through is the iNFiNiTY SAGA or as I like to call it, The AVENGERS iNFiNiTY SAGA, you'll see soon enough, that's all I can say. Also, Tony's big red-&-gold suit to fight the Hulk is the Hulkbuster, which he and Banner built in case the Hulk loses control.
“You and Banner better not be playing hide the zucchini” is such an insane line to put in an Avengers movie lmao I genuinely couldn’t believe it the first time I heard it
The group shot at 1:08 is one of my favourite shots in all Avengers movies. My favourite scene in this film is probably the scene with Cap and Tony chopping wood. For no special reason at all :)
Every Avengers movie had a splash page shot. This one had that shot. The first one had the circle shot. Spoilers Civil War (basically an Avengers movie) had the two sides clashing at the airport. Infinity War had Thor arriving in Wakanda with Rocket and Groot. And Endgame had the two sides clashing in the final battle.
Ultron was one of my favorite villains. Loved him. And I love villains that aren't just evil but nuanced. And Ultron's reason were valid. And I love the Hammer scene...it was so nice to see them bantering as friends. Edit: "suddenly I am a wooden log you can spilt me open." Haha Seb just verbalizing all my thoughts.
James Spader is the voice of Ultron, love his acting. You can see some of his mannerisms in Ultron's movements at some point as well, I believe they used some motion capture on the actor himself. Very evident at the end when he says "You are unbearably naïve"
He is really good at it. When I realize that the guy who voice Ultron was the same one who play Robert California in The Office, I couldn't believe it because there are so opposite characters 😂
I love James Spader! Particularly from Boston Legal. (but the other stuff I've seen is all good too.) He just has such a dry wit & wonderful onscreen charisma.
My favourite scene is probably when Ultron first shows up and calls the Avangers killers. Or maybe Vision and Ultron at the end. "Well, i was born yesterday." is genius.
Existentialism and human condition conversations between two robots, Lord was that incredible! And how Ultron didn't hesitate to kill Vis because he saw him as his stolen vision, something that was corrupted from it original purpose, without really acknowledging Vis is truly what he intended him to be.
"Hide the zucchini...is that innuendo?" Says the king of innuendo, hahaha...please. You really are improving with every installment. Can't wait for more... oh, yah, I kinda have to...
"Everyone creates the thing they dread". I just love Ultron, his speeches and his voice. I was a bit underwhelmed the first time I saw the movie in the cinéma, but I love it more and more with every rewatch. Ultron is à perfect villain just as I like them. It's also the beginning of Avengers extensions and this movie has a lot of consequences on the following movies. And oh the things we'd let Cap do to us :)
"Suddenly I'm a log, you can split me open" SebScreen's thirst over these films so far have been my spirit animal Although I'm pretty sure Cap wants Bucky to be his log 😉
A couple of things: The robot with the Mind Stone is named Vision. He is almost entirely made of vibranium, the same metal that Captain America's shield is made of. The metal only comes from a small African country named Wakanda, which is very reclusive. The Mind stone's casing was blue, yes, and it was done partially to make us think it just used energy from the Tesseract (blue cube) but really it was always its own thing. It was just a housing for the Mind stone, similar to how the blue cube is housing for another Infinity Stone... Wanda Maximoff, the twin who lived, is basically a witch now. The red is her magic, she does all sorts of things with it. She will slowly become more powerful as she develops and practices her abilities. She and her twin brother, Pietro, got their abilities from being experimented on by Hydra with the Mind stone while Hydra had Loki's Sceptor. Also, fun little reminder, that Thanos gave Loki the Sceptor to try and conquer the Earth with it in exchange for the Tesseract. Thanks to the Avengers in the first movie, that didn't happen Lastly, try to recall that Hulk stayed on the jet while it was in stealth mode and no one knows where he is. He feels guilty about what he did under Wanda's control
I see this a lot everywhere about Thor’s hammer and cap from this movie. Cap could lift it but didn’t know, when he realized it, he made a split decision to not lift it because he didn’t wanna shatter Thors ego. This was confirmed by the writers/directors
I never thought of Vision as worthy. I thought he could just lift Mjolnir because he was an android and therefore not truly an organic being with a real soul. Kinda like a Mjolnir in the elevator situation.
He was just born. Since his first and only thought was to defeat Ultron and protect the world his mind had never been tainted by evil so he was deemed worthy.
Ultron isn't necessarily an evil AI, just one that has come to a very logical and objective conclusion after spending 5 minutes absorbing human history on the internet: that we're a violent and self-destructive species that doesn't exactly deserve salvation or protection :P He's not wrong. James Spader's voice acting for him is also top-notch, love it. Also, that big Iron Man suit is known as the Hulkbuster, Tony built it as a contingency for if they ever needed to restrain the Hulk. Obviously, they did.
So The reason Wanda's brother (Quicksilver) is killed off so quickly is because at the time Fox had the rights to the X-Men, but since the twins are on both comics it was agreed Disney could use Wanda but Fox would get Quicksilver under the conditions Disney couldn't call them mutants, use their super hero names Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver, couldn't mention family ties to other major X-Men characters and such.
Veronica is a reference to Bruce Banner's love interest Betty Ross. In Archie Comics, there are Betty and Veronica that are rivals... so the Hulkbuster suit is nicknamed Veronica for that reason.
every time I see that you’re going to post a reaction I get so excited bc when i’m watching them it’s like an escape from school and life and it makes me happy so thank you Seb for everything you’re doing!🤍
This film didn’t get much love when it came out. The separate stories as you pointed out was a factor. Production issues. But as the movies went and the world grew, this did a real great job with its world building.
Wanda winds up such a great character. When you've finished the movies, you gotta watch Wandavision. Ultron is voiced by James Spader. The gun runner is Andy Serkis, who plays Gollum. There are ramifications in the future for all of the destruction.
The scene where they are all at the party and then trying to lift the hammer is one of my favorites of all of the mcu. Just seeing them hanging out together is so cool
I don't remember if its been confirmed but cap realised he could lift the hammer but instantly decided to not do it because it wasnt necessary yet, what also makes him worthy
Fun fact: As it's been pointed out already, Wanda (Scarlet Witch) and her brother Pietro, (Quicksilver), were in both the Avengers and The X-Men Comics. And the deal between Disney and FOX meant that, Pietro could be called Quicksilver in the Avengers etc. But, did you know that the actors that play Pietro and Quicksilver, the same character, are in fact besties in real life, at the time of filming both of their roles?
Possibly my favorite “avengers “ movie. This movie was truly a cinematic comic book. Plus with vision and stark being my favorite characters from the books, this movie was magic for me.
"Sun's getting real low." One of my favorite scenes early on in the movie. This is one of the one's I've been waiting for. 😊 In case you didn't recognize him, actor James Spader is this voice of Ultron. Ultron is one of the best, in my opinion, villians in the MCU. Next to Thanos, and someone you'll meet in the beginning of Phase 3. Loved the introduction of the Maximoff twins, Wanda and Pietro. Pietro was someone I really wanted to see more in the MCU. But I loved how Clint(Hawkeye) gave his newborn the middle name of Pietro. Definitely two of my top moments from this movie is everyone trying to lift Thor’s hammer. And the expression one everyone's faces when Vision was able to lift it. And this is one of my favorite Stan Lee cameo appearances. Looking forward to your next reaction. 😊
I love your reactions to these movies! you're so fun and entertaining to watch( especially with the last couple of MCU movies, you being shocked by the twists as with Winter Soldier, or you getting and laughing at the jokes and comedic moments like with Guardians of the Galaxy) but you also do pick up on the little details and make good predictions for what might happen later .
So little thing with this movie is that this is the movie that got me into the franchise. I hadn't seen any Marvel movie outside of the original Spiderman trilogy (Toby version) previously because either I was "too young" or just simply hadn't heard of them. Then , I'm assuming because of all the success of the first Avengers movie and what not , I saw trailers for this movie and it looked so cool to me! Me then being 15 at the time, decided to see what all this talk and trailers about Avengers (that was happening at the time) was all about now that I was old enough to properly enjoy them. I immediately went on a Marvel binge (after a little research about this new world I would be hopping into and discovering that you need to watch them in a certain order) just before Age of Ultron came out, starting with Iron Man and got to this movie only a couple weeks after its release. I am now a MASSIVE Marvel fan and have not missed a movie or show since , and have been loving seeing your reactions and takes on these movies as they , as I have said before are so so entertaining and really great reactions, but also because they remind me of how I felt when I first watched them. ESPECIALLY with this one. :)
for me, the funniest scene is Iron Man vs. Hulk: Iron Man knocks out one of Hulk's teeth, the look on Iron Man's face as he says, "I'm sorry." 14:38 and FYI, the twins in this, starred together in another movie; Godzilla (2014) as husband and wife...
I love that this movie introduces many new characters. Pietro was so great, it´s shame we didn´t see more of him. Don´t worry about thinking that was Tesseract, I had them as the same for years because their both blue. Also Hawkeye is hillarious in this movie, even if not everyone likes him I think he´s great. I love how he´s like there are murderous robots and I have a bow and arrows. :D
Yeah "the city is flying , ok the city is flying , we're fighting an army of robots and I have a bow and arrows , none of this makes sense.... If you step out that door you ARE an Avenger" how is this simultaneously one of the funniest and most badass lines/moments in the MCU?
@@necrago yeah I realized I made a dumb comment. There is no such thing as partially worthy. It’s either worthy or not. The hammer squeaked so he was worthy.
That scene where Vision lifted Mjolnir, though. I remember the entire cinema going suddenly quiet at that bit, the only thing breaking the silence being the tiny, exited *"Eep!"* I let out. :D
A lot of people didn't like Ultron. They said it was childish, talkative, funny, and that it shouldn't be like that, but I thought it was perfect for the movie, originated from Tony and picking some of its features was a smart decission.
yea they did mention in back in the first cap movie when tony's dad was showing him demo shields until peggy goes and shoots at him when he's holding the current vibranium shield
28:47 it was for copyright/property reasons Marvel got Wanda and FOX got Pietro in the custody battle. At least that's the best explanation. Since Wanda & Pietro have been Avengers for a long time, but they're also mutants (and the children of magneto). And FOX still had property of the x-men and any mutants at the time. You can see another version of Pietro in x-men days of future past and x-men apocalypse. But no Wanda. Now that Disney bought FOX, and the x-men are announced to come to the MCU I hope Pietro can come back. From what I've heard of WandaVision Pietro does appear there, but it's the x-men Pietro not this one. I really liked this version of Pietro, I'm still mad they killed him off even if it was for an external reason like that.
i think the reason they killed off quicksilver is because super speed is such a dummy powerful superpower. if you can kill your opponent before they know you''re there, there's never any true conflict
Hide the zucchini is definitely an innuendo because Hulk is green... implying his WHOLE body is green and hulk and black widow have had a little thing this movie. Great reaction
23:11, you're right, it can't, sekovia dropping from that height would do literally nothing to the planet, for someone with tonys intellect ultron is very dumb
You're now my ultimate crush reactor 🥺❤️ I've been binge watching your videos haha looking forward for more mcu films. Hehe ill watch your HP and LOTR reactions next hehe
Justifying Vision's cape was always going to be a headache--like his DC counterpart Red Tornado, the cape is unnecessary and nonsensical, yet we'd miss it if it were gone--but I gotta say, having Vis look at Thor's cape and just saying to himself, "Oh, that's nice, I should like one of those myself" was a brilliant workaround. (We call superheroes "capes" but beyond the 1940s very few actually wear them! The modern Vision--again, like Red Tornado--was inspired by a _very_ different character from the Golden Age.)
14:55 You see Ultron's point about the Avengers ruining the world lol. Like yeah they stop a few bad guys but then they end up trashing the place in the process. Mankind doesn't need to go extinct, but things did need to change. Ultron and Thanos were partially right.
Wanda is my fav character along with Dr. Strange and Loki, this is just the beginning of her. I can't wait for you to see WandaVision!! (yeah it's far haha)
I *loved* seeing Natasha & Bruce's relationship in this film - I *really* wish we could hv seen them explore that relationship further in the future of the MCU films.

The big suit Tony wore to fight Hulk is called the “Hulkbuster” suit. Tony and Bruce designed it to take on the Hulk.
So awesome!
16:28 This cracked me up omg. This is so me lmao😂
The Thor n Cap combos in this movie are too good
“Fine I’ll do it myself” 31:46
Sick🔥🔥
i think the reason they killed off quicksilver is because super speed is such a dummy powerful superpower. if you can kill your opponent before they know you''re there, there's never any true conflict
One of the most underrated mcu films out there
30:27 but if the elevator still go up will it be the king of asgard ?
3:32 "what the hell would have broken that shield?" 😏😅🤐
love the reactions Seb, can’t wait for you to finish the MCU series. Here for the ride!
Love your reactions so far!!! Sooo excited for you to see more of the MCU. It gets so much better
Super excited for more
Hide the zucchini is definitely an innuendo because Hulk is green... implying his WHOLE body is green and hulk and black widow have had a little thing this movie. Great reaction
i love your reactions seb thank you for the amazing content
You are very welcome
Living in Northern Ireland and hearing a bunch of people shouting no surrender 🤣🤣 my head snapped up hahaha
You are so entertaining to watch. Great reaction as per usual.
You know when cap says language, that was a completely improvised line from Chris Evans, and becomes a running joke😂😂
I’m happy Vision was the one to kill Ultron instead of Tony.
14:55 You see Ultron's point about the Avengers ruining the world lol. Like yeah they stop a few bad guys but then they end up trashing the place in the process. Mankind doesn't need to go extinct, but things did need to change. Ultron and Thanos were partially right.
Lol. The “split me open” comment finally got me to subscribe. 😂
🤣
Wanda is my fav character along with Dr. Strange and Loki, this is just the beginning of her. I can't wait for you to see WandaVision!! (yeah it's far haha)
I like how Seb and Thor both dropped the smile at the same time in the afterparty scene
“Suddenly I’m a wooden log he can split me open…” hehehe I’m 1000% appreciating that statement lmao an hitting subscribe
Yeah, I think the Sakovia Accords should be renamed the Hulkbuster Accords if you know what I mean lol
I *loved* seeing Natasha & Bruce's relationship in this film - I *really* wish we could hv seen them explore that relationship further in the future of the MCU films.
They had to kill pietro because the quicksilver character was being used for the fox X-men franchise as well.
The part that surprised the biggest laugh out of me was Hawkeye's "I know what i need to do..." plan.
