Transformers Dark of the moon now on Patreon for early access and then starting John wick: www.patreon.com/SebScreen What did you think of Thor love and thunder?!
The reason Thor took care of Love is because they were both alone, Thor lost everyone and so did Love (in a way) so they’re both there for each other in the end
I read a pretty decent theory about the Thor movies. The theory is that the first two are told by Odin, hence his opening narration in them, which is why the dialog and tone is more proper. The third one is told by Thor himself from the opening narration, which is why there's a dramatic shift in tone. This one is told by Korg, which is why it's so much more off the wall than the other ones. Kind of interesting to think about.
I have a better theory: The First 2 were mediocre and then Marvel hired taika to make Ragnarok and change the whole tone. Ragnarok was a success, then Taika and Feige thought that putting way more comedy was the way to beat Ragnarok, but it was a miss. Simple as that.
people are being dramatic as always, the comedy in this one is basically the same from ragnarok, chances are you dont like it because its more out there, but its literally not that different. this one is still better than the first two (the old style), taika is a genius for making thor so loveable and laughable at the same time

I liked that end credit scene a lot. Early on Thor runs across Sif injured, and she says to leave her to die so she can get a warrior's death and go to Valhalla. Thor replies by saying she has to die while the battle is actually still going. They established early on that getting into Valhalla isn't easy. The battle was over when Jane died, the cancer is what killed her. So according to the MCU the fight against cancer is a warrior's death worthy of going to Valhalla.
Anyone could lift Storm Breaker . The worthy enchantment was specific to Mjolnir. Thor basically modified the enchantment when he "commanded" it to protect her. That is why she could use it.
That's not true, at least in the comics. I can't find anything definitive about the MCU version other than the Russo brothers saying "it doesn't have the same enchantment but only Thor is strong enough" (which is kind of a cop-out), but as far as Gorr is concerned, he's a God Killer, so I can accept that the usual rules don't apply.
@@hellomark1 Mjolnir didn't have the enchantment until Odin specifically added it when he cast him to earth in Thor 1. There is no reason to assume when they created storm Breaker they'd add that extra bit too. Especially when it was quickly made. The being worthy thing isn't like a intrinsic part of Asgardian weapons. It was only added to only Mjolnir as part of him learning humility
Korg thinks that Thor rides around on his weapons (Ragnarok), and this movie is narrated by Korg...so thats why Thor is riding Stormbreaker like a broom-
I thought ragnarok was great probably mostly because Dark World came before it. It really showed they were trying to take Thor a different direction and it made his character so much more nuanced for Infinity War. But I feel like we barely get to know Thor now without his entire life reshuffling before our eyes. I was getting ready to see how Thor dealt with Loki’s actual death, how he treats friends and relationships now, what his goals are. Instead we get a back tattoo, a short scene with him and Quill that’s played entirely for laughs while dictating inner monologues that could be shown instead. I just feel like I don’t get an actual feel for who he is before suddenly Jane shows up, dies, and now he has a kid
i agree, i was very interested to see his journey working back his mental health from engame and they just summed it all up in a montage and just kinda brushed past it tbh.
I liked the movie, I did think a couple jokes could of been taken out but I still thought it was good. I kinda like the goats because in Norse Mythology Thor has goats but they did get kinda annoying, so Gorrs daughter was refereed to as Love at the end and Love is a character from the comics, pretty sure she’s the daughter of Eternity. Also she was played by Chris Hemsworth’s real daughter
Love is not based on any character from the comics. She was solely created for this movie in the MCU. However we do have an entity called Mistress Love in the comics who is an entirely different character than Love in Love and Thunder.
As for why would Gorr give his child to Thor, he was dying, he couldn't really make other arrangements. Thor is fully capable of protecting her. Thematically, the movie was about the multiple ways that Thor has become lonely. From that perspective, you have to give him the god child (she may be a cosmic being now)
What I didn’t like is just how differently they wrote Thor here say from Infinity war/endgame. I know he had JUST lost his entire family but still it just feels like an entire 360. Also that we got mighty Thor just to loose her and Gorr (who is now in my top three favorite villains of the mcu) as well. Idk, i enjoyed it but I didn’t love it. The ending did make me tear up tho ngl, and after learning that’s Chris Hemsworth’s real daughter it was even worse💀
Here's a cameo list. Feel free to add any I didn't catch: Fake Stage Thor was another Hemsworth brother, Luke Hemsworth, Fake Stage Odin was Sam Neil, and Fake Stage Hela was Melissa Mccarthy. Also her husband was the director/guy moving the props around. One of Hemsworths, two of Natalie's, and two of Taika Waititi's kids were among the kidnapped children. Love is Hemsworths actual daughter, Kid Thor in the flashback is his son, and the wolf woman is his wife.
Honestly I was surprised to have this one land in the bottom tier of Marvel movies for me. I loved Ragnarok, but this just felt like TOO much comedy. That along with a severe lack of screen time for Christian Bale’s character, when I think he clearly brought his A-game for the role…just fell short for me.
It had a lot of separately great moments that were just jumbled together and literally none of them were properly explored. God-Butcher? A few great scenes, but not nearly enough to connect. And we didn't see any ACTUAL god-butchering. A city of gods? A great idea, but we left as quickly as we arrived. Zeus's lightning bolt, a weapon to rival Stormbreaker? It just is, okay? Nevermind that we explored Jonathan and Stormbreaker's origins and powers quite a bit. A movie devoted to gods? How about zero explanation of difference between a god and a powerful alien? Especially after Moon Knight which introduces somewhat different gods... And so on, and so on, and so on. And the result was a mess.
@@anagh1412 why wouldn’t anybody be? Ragnarok is one of the best marvel movies and the trailers depicted this with a similar tone. I was expecting to love this movie until early reviews came out.
I'm sorry if this has already been mentioned, but regarding the goats; in norse mythology, Thor's chariot is pulled by the two goats Tanngrisnir (teeth-barer) and Tanngnjóstr (teeth-grinder). One can say a lot about this movie, but I actually liked that they added the goats, haha.
@@3twelve206 Yeah I made the comment before I was done watching the video, when Seb was questioning why goats when they're first introduced. I do agree the screaming got old very quick, lol.
Honestly when I saw the goats I got so happy cause I know about Norse mythology but honestly with everything else about the movie and them being overly used as joke I just got sick of them.
Dr strange said something along the lines in Infinity War about how the simplest protection spells can be the most powerful, I’m guessing that’s the same for mjolnir and protecting Jane! So yes simple but powerful
24:19 The reason others can carry stormbreaker is because it isnt enchanted by odin like the mjolnir is so you dont actually need to be "worthy" to wield it. But still, it being a god weapon doesnt mean anyone can use it, only more powerful characters such as thanos, gorr, cap(with the power of thor), etc. have been shown to carry/wield it. also at 10:24, it basically tells us that thor gained the skill of enchanting weapons like odin, thats how he was able to enchant the kids weapons and let them borrow thor's power well, to be fair they did do a bad job explaining it.
Imagine if the Guardians knew about Eternity. If they stuck around long enough, either Nebula or Peter would have wished to revive Gamora whereas Drax would bring back his wife and daughter. I didn't expect for them to be around for much of the movie, but I was hoping to at least get a teaser about where they're headed next. I would assume they're still looking for Gamora on the side, but I know we're getting a holiday special with them soon. It'll tie directly into volume three which arrives May of next year. Also, if Jane and Heimdall managed to arrive to Valhalla, I wonder if original Loki also made it in. He did try to stop Thanos himself. Maybe that alone qualifies as a warrior's death to grant him entry. At least we still have his analyst double who's no different than the original. He's still our one and the same Loki. I'm not gonna lie: I was hoping for a cameo from Analyst Loki, but I guess it isn't time for the brothers to reunite just yet. Hopefully we see them together in one of the upcoming Avengers films in 2025. One's gonna be called the Kang Dynasty, and the other Secret Wars. We still have a ways to go, but the Avengers will reassemble. In the meantime, if you want more Taika Waititi, I recommend checking out this series on HBO Max called Our Flag Means Death. He's an executive producer for the show and he portrays a certain character. A second season is in development.
The screaming goats were indeed a joke that ran a little too long, BUT they did serve a point. In Norse mythology, they actually played a bigger role. The goats were the ones who transported Thor in his Chariot. It would have been nice if their presence served more of a point, but there you go.
Also, Stormbreaker's enchantment is different from Mjolnir. With Stormbreaker, you don't need to be "worthy", you just need to possess the incredible strength of gods and kings. It's why Thanos and Cap were able to briefly hold it in Endgame. I assume being worthy of wielding Mjolnir gives you the strength to also wield Stormbreaker, but it doesn't work the other way around. I also assume that wielding the Necrosword also gives you the necessary strength to carry Stormbreaker, and it seems that being Eternity/Love also makes you powerful enough for Stormbreaker.
I think the presentation of zeus was actually quite good. Zeus is supposed to be the most powerful of all the gods, a brave, heroic and powerful god, or what you hear from the legends. But when it comes to seeing him in the flesh, hes not what you would expect. Hes a fat, happy god who lives the life of luxury, hes arrogant and takes things not as seriously. He also shows little compassion for the gods that are barely worth his attention, i.e the lower level gods. Sure his power lives up to the legends, however, his sheer level of arrogance is his undoing and he ends up getting incapacitated by thor. I know hes currently recovering after the assault, but man a god like zeus should be more than what he seems, and sends his son hercules to do his dirty work. Not ripping on the character of zeus but actually praising how he is portrayed in the film
I loved this movie but I’m not some Marvel snob. I’ve been reading the comics for over 30 years now. I started reading them when I learned how to read. I’ve watched them make good runs, mediocre runs and awful runs. I’ve seen them write for all types of audiences. And I’m still here smiling because I’m a huge fan of the weird stuff. Oh and I do NOT want direct translations from the comics. Ever. I’ve already lived those stories and I don’t need them translated into real time.
Say it again for the ppl in the back it’ll be so boring already knowing exactly what will happen. I like the spins and adaptations the MCU team makes to these stories😖
There’s a lot of things I don’t like about this film (mainly over saturated comedy) but the scene where thornuses his magic to empower the kids is so fucking cool man.
I absolutely adored this movie, the colors and scenery are amazing, Christian Bale’s acting performance, and the screaming goats are just plain hilarious. The battle in the Shadow Realm was my favorite part! I do wish we got to see a little more with the Guardians since they were there for like 5 mins. Besides that I think this movie is good and doesn’t deserve the backlash it got, 8/10
Definitely some issues with this film, but there *were* hints towards Thor's ending with Gorr's daughter throughout. Honestly, it felt like this movie got really butchered in the editing room and had a lot stuff cut out that could have made it better. First time I've felt major studio interference in an MCU movie and I hope the trend doesn't continue. I agree a lot of the jokes didn't land and the VFX artists definitely had to rush for sure. I enjoyed it for what it was and definitely don't think it's "bad" by any means. It made me like Jane and Thor's relationship a lot more than previously and I loved Gorr as a villain. Christian Bale nailed the role and I hope some of his deleted scenes get released some day.
You put it the best way like this, I would have to agree completely. Shame on the limitations but Taika's way is too wild for general audience so they had to restrain him haha, shame
I noticed after watching many people react to this movie, people either love the goats or hate them, I personally was dying laughing in the theater when I watched it
The biggest problem with the film is that it gets so jokey and comedic that it's hard to take the serious moments seriously. The humor in Infinity War and Endgame worked so well because there was so much emphasis on the universe-threatening stakes that the jokes provided welcome bits of levity to break up the constant tone of foreboding dread. But in Love And Thunder, it's "joke, joke, joke, brief moment of serious talk about cancer, joke, joke, joke, joke." Deadpool also involved cancer in its plot, but it was much better at balancing the humor and the seriousness.
Maybe I’m in the minority but this was honestly one of my favorite Thor movies. I like that they take both the serious themes of the past movies and kept the comedy from the ragnorock film. I appreciate when I feel like they are balancing both sad and comedic tones. Plus the dark vibes from the villain. It’s exactly what I wanted, maybe it didn’t exceed any expectations but I really enjoyed the film
my only complaint was to add in like 10 minutes of showing Gorr fighting, I do get the criticism people have but the hate is overblown, but ofc if u try to argue with someone about it, they will just call u a sheep
Jane died, Gorrs daughter died in the beginning and Gorr died at the end, in the arms of his daughter... I dont really want to see anything darker than that.
@@ump5597 Darker doesn't have to mean more deaths, but more focus on Jane and Gorr's stories and a little more seriousness at times could have benefited the movie.
It's been 12 years of the MCU and people still wonder why other than Thor can pick up Storm Breaker. The spell for the "worhtiness" was cast on Mjolnir by Odin, not on Storm Breaker. Jesus.
Definitely was too much at some points but there were a lot of great things as well. Loved Christian Bale as Gorr and the scene where Thor gave the kids his power was really quite moving. Overall, it was enjoyable and if you take it at face value, it's good, imo. A fun movie.
I believe the reason Mjolnir responded to Thor to protect Jane, was because unbeknownst to Thor, he has developed the odinspeak. A great power inherited from his father that brings his thoughts/wishes to life in some way (i'm not 100% on what it is or how it works. Just heard it from word of mouth)
I honestly would have been fine with the goat screaming bit if it had been limited to two scenes early on, and then the scene with them screaming into the city of the gods, give it a good rule of three bit and then keep it out of the climactic finale scenes.
I loved this movie. I am so sick of the online community SCREAMING they hate something, and 90% of the REAL people in the world love it. We can make up our own minds. Don't need Twitter to tell me when I movie is good. This was fun AND heartbreaking.
This is a prime example on how NOT to make these movies. Ragnarok worked because it balanced humor and comedy with serious stuff like him losing Mjolnir and his talks with Odin. Here its just an almost constant barrage of jokes. Hell even Gorr is a joke here.
This film is the paragon of marvel being the one kid who makes a good joke that everyone enjoys and laughs at, and then very quickly becomes annoying by repeating it over and over again. Their gimmicks have long outstayed their welcome.
I mean no hate, but people have gotten to picky with Marvel, forgetting just the entertainment of it... I know the film has its flaws but I still love it, each film has a little bit of something to love... People just need to relax a bit and enjoy movies even if they're bad
My first reaction to this film is: its the definition of "too much of a good thing". Ragnarok wad a nice and funny rejuvenation of the Thor character. Love and Thunder was just nonstop jokes and it was too much. And I also think they could have done so much better with Gore
In the comics the Necrosword is the first ever symbiote created by Knull the God of Symbiotes as a weapon to slay the gods, it is the progenitor of all symbiotes even Venom.
It’s not like fox did them justice, they only cared about Wolverine, Magneto and Professor X. Cyclops wasn’t the leader of the team, Storm and Rogue were trash and all of the others are just mostly fillers. Except from the three that I mentioned all the others can be upgraded or just as bad, so I don’t get your comment. Edit: Also, Disney gave us the best Hulk and Thor, Hulk in 2012 and Hulk suffered a lot because of the rights problems and Thor in his first three movies was good and the Avengers movies, the best Thor was IW and the times he suffered was because the script and writing, not because Disney so blame Taika for What he did to him in Love and Thunder but doesn’t have anything to do with Disney.

@@craigime well… they kinda are. Stan Lee used to review everything and make small edits. Now Kevin Feige is in charge and is too focused on making everything really big. Imagine every fifth issue of Spider-Man, aliens invaded, or every other daredevil comic, there’s a big terrorist attack to destroy all of America. Everything needs to be massive and majorly connected now. But I think Kevin knows this. But he still makes Wong be in every other movie/show. And the movie/show Wong isn’t in, Daredevil has a cameo. I hope Wakanda forever can stop this, but the movie will most likely be connected to Zemo, who’ll form the thunderbolts. Or maybe Doctor Doom is the big bad (I’m ok with a cameo, but I want him in the full suit.)
Whats up with people comparing movies now? This better that that, its not the same as this, the other one is just better, or this is not what is used to be bullshyt. Just enjoy the film for what it is, or not. Atleast appreciate alittle that marvel is putting something out there for us. Something for new and old fans can watch or enjoy including children. Not every movie is a competition. I have seen soo many people saying that this is not the film they expected or that they are disappointed because its not the film that they thought and hoped for. Maybe try and watch this movie with no expectations at all? And just embrace what was given? Instead of enjoying it, you are judging it based of what you are expecting. (Just watch and enjoy) be chill about it. Apperantly everyone is a critic now.
when has this NOT been a thing, we do. i feel like we have always compared one thing against another and not just talking bout mcu franchise. i think it's more prevalent now cos of the Internet and social media giving us a place to voice our opinions, like what i am doing now on this platform. i was very excited for this movie when i saw the trailer especially with natalie portman coming back to reprise her role as jane foster, but the movie as a whole was a complete let down, coming off the back of the enormously successful thor ragnarok.
I’ve been saying the same things on these videos, people just need to chill tf out and wait for the next Marvel movie that better fits their film preferences
This was definitely an enjoyable film, I just feel that it would’ve been so much better had they been given more time and made a few better writing decisions. Of course just making the story make more sense in general, but also lowering the comedy a little bit to make the film more tense and giving Gorr more screen time. The film would’ve felt like there was much more at stake and honestly just more Christian Bale in general would’ve made this film at least closer to the level of Ragnarok. I’d probably give it a 6or7/10 same as you
People who disliked this honestly don’t understand movie making, this was in no way a bad movie, The room, was a bad movie because of how its made. Thats how people should use good and bad, not when it comes to some arbitrary opinion based off of their likes and dislikes.
For those who don’t know; Love is the daughter of Eternity in human form. She is one of the highest tier entities in the entire Marvel universe. She can knock Galactus on his face. If the Celestials want to go to war with humanity now they’re going to have to deal with Love 💪🏼
Gorr got the Darth Maul treatment... criminally underused badass :( Christian Bale was great. I am however excited to see the Love&Thunder(Thor) dynamic going forward, the 2 minutes they had together at the end was some of the best interactions of the whole movie

What are you on about, I'd love a 2½ hours movie with just the goats screaming and crashing into everything. In Norse Mytholgy Thor has always had the goats pulling his wagon. You can't kill them, sometimes they slaughter them to eat them, then Thor takes the bones, wraps them in the skin, swings Mjølner over it, and they come back to life. The real mystery is why they haven't been there since the first Thor. I actually think this one is better than Ragnarok, because when I hear the word "Ragnarok", I expect lots of death and devastation, not lots of humour. Also, I love your shirt.

Seb isn’t the only person I’ve seen ask “How did Jane get Thor’s powers?” In the first Thor, when Odin cast Thor out in exile to Earth, and he threw Mjolnir in with him, he enchanted the hammer by saying “Whoever so holds this hammer, may they be worthy, shall possess the powers of Thor.” That’s how. Pick up the hammer, you get Thor’s powers. That’s how Capt. America was able to use lightning in Endgame also This movie was a miss for me. I’ve watched it 3 times and the only parts I found myself entrenched in were any scene having to do with Gorr. Christian Bale did great in the role. The movie was a little too comedic and the comedic timing wasn’t as good as Ragnarock
You confused about how gorrs sword got destroyed, half the broken pieces were still inside mjolnir when she did that attack to destroy the shards destroying the rest of the swords
This movie was so disappointing. My review: Thor: Love and Thunder does attempt to explore themes of love and loss whilst introducing the Mighty Thor and putting Thor on a journey of self discovery. However, it sadly doesn't work as well as it should due to a rushed pace and way too many jokes that are not funny. It has a childish humor which the Director seems to be over reliant on. Gorr character is underdeveloped for the most part. He's barely in the movie. He gives a great performance, but the script does not flesh him out, does not explore his character, and in effect, turns him into another forgettable MCU villain. His motivation is horrible. Just because his god failed him Gorr says all gods are selfish and they only care about themselves, but his plan was to kidnap the children and wait for the gods to go get them. Literally contradicting his ideals. Bad writing. Valkyrie never looks bothered about what she's doing in the film and doesn't even take part in the last battle cos "she might get killed", despite talking to Jane earlier in the film about how she wants her Viking death so she can get to Valhalla. More bad writing. Overall it's just a very boring story, there's no real plot, Thor finds out someone is murdering gods (off camera) and just goes to kill him... Synopsis done, that's it! Way too much filler in the film and pointless scenes just to drag it out far longer than it needed to be while the scenes that they needed to show like Gorr killing the gods, Jane becoming Mighty Thor, etc, we're all cut. I don't care for the characters, the CGI is inconsistent, the writing is not good, the exposition is bad and it has the worse and childish comedy of the MCU. Amazing acting by Bale but the others gave their worse performance as their respective characters, the movie is well shot but not better than Ragnarok and it’s one of the worse written MCU movies, below average movie.
Really don't get the insane amount of hate this movie got. It doesn't match the incredibly high bar set by Ragnarok but still better than 1 and obviously better than 2. Loved the light hearted tone. Felt very comic booky. Haven't read the original storyline and don't care that it's different. I really had fun watching. It reminds me of the reception to Iron Man 3 which was also about the hero recovering from the events of the previous big team up movie where people flipped their shit about the lighter tone and the villain being adapted differently than the source material. And I imagine with time, it'll be reevaluated more positively the way Iron Man 3 has. Hopefully one day, we'll get Roy Kent vs Hemsworth.
Leave the GOATS ALONE! I love the goats. Goats screamed long before the meme happened. They were great for comedic breaks here and there. I giggled everytime it happened.

The being worthy thing isn't like a intrinsic part of Asgardian weapons. It was only added to only Mjolnir as part of him learning humility
Mjolnir is specifically chanted. To lift storm breaker you just have to be strong
but theyre also supposed to like not handle that much power in stormbreaker so idk
But also what if she was Worthy
Stormbreaker is sentient because the handle is groot's arm, that's why it has emotions!
Korg thinks that Thor rides around on his weapons (Ragnarok), and this movie is narrated by Korg...so thats why Thor is riding Stormbreaker like a broom-
26:02 I actually liked this scene, Thor's lightning looked like the Yggdrasil tree, which is the tree of life in Norse Mythology.
yeah I'm glad I'm not the only one who caught that
@@xViolentStormzx Everyone get that scene...😅
@@spdrr2000 lol right
I thought ragnarok was great probably mostly because Dark World came before it.
Instead we get a back tattoo, a short scene with him and Quill that’s played entirely for laughs while dictating inner monologues
that could be shown instead.
I think you mean they could HAVE been taken out.
Love is not based on any character from the comics. She was solely created for this movie in the MCU. However we do have an entity called Mistress Love in the comics who is an entirely different character than Love in Love and Thunder.
i dunno if i could stomach my actual daughter being carried, nestled, and loved by American Psycho.
@@michaelklaus that’s cool and all but who asked?
@@Bagginses1 I did. Michael did all of us a service.

@@AnaGabriela-jp8os why was it worse?
well it was either convince Gorr you can look after his kid or he wishes for the death of all gods
Here's a cameo list. Feel free to add any I didn't catch:
Fake Stage Thor was another Hemsworth brother, Luke Hemsworth, Fake Stage Odin was Sam Neil, and Fake Stage Hela was Melissa Mccarthy.
That along with a severe lack of screen time for Christian Bale’s character, when I think he clearly brought his A-game for the role…just fell short for me.
suprised?
really?

It’s not the goats that are the problem. It’s how they’re overused as a comedic bit.
But still, it being a god weapon doesnt mean anyone can use it, only more powerful characters such as thanos, gorr, cap(with the power of thor), etc. have been shown to carry/wield it.
also at 10:24, it basically tells us that thor gained the skill of enchanting weapons like odin, thats how he was able to enchant the kids weapons and let them borrow thor's power
well, to be fair they did do a bad job explaining it.

And the goats could be eaten and would be alive the next day. :P

@@spkz0r And they were strong enough to break Thor's hammer
In norse mythology do they also scream in a horrifically annoying way?
Thor also have them in the Marvel comics, though he mostly uses the hammer to get wherever he needs to be
Also, Stormbreaker's enchantment is different from Mjolnir.

Oh and I do NOT want direct translations from the comics. Ever. I’ve already lived those stories and I don’t need them translated into real time.

The goats aren’t just a meme thing. In the mythology, Thor actually has two immortal goats that he uses as a meat source.
Fun fact: you need to be worthy to hold mjolnir but not stormbreaker. this was actually confirmed by joe and anthony russo
I LOVED the goats. Made me laugh every time. But to each their own.
He was going to use his wish to destroy all the gods and universe so Thor decided it's probably better to take care of the kid

just me who felt like he spent most of this reaction just shit talking jane?
Fun Fact: Love is played by Chris Hemsworth's real live daughter
The biggest problem with the film is that it gets so jokey and comedic that it's hard to take the serious moments seriously. The humor in Infinity War and Endgame worked so well because there was so much emphasis on the universe-threatening stakes that the jokes provided welcome bits of levity to break up the constant tone of foreboding dread. But in Love And Thunder, it's "joke, joke, joke, brief moment of serious talk about cancer, joke, joke, joke, joke." Deadpool also involved cancer in its plot, but it was much better at balancing the humor and the seriousness.
And also the jokes weren't funny.
24:18 anyone can pick up storm braker becouse stormbraker is not enchanted by odin. thanos also picked stormbraker up

Finally! I've been waiting for u to react to Thor: Love and Thunder!

i love that seb's reference for mythology is smite and not the actual mythos
This is a prime example on how NOT to make these movies. Ragnarok worked because it balanced humor and comedy with serious stuff like him losing Mjolnir and his talks with Odin. Here its just an almost constant barrage of jokes. Hell even Gorr is a joke here.
This film is the paragon of marvel being the one kid who makes a good joke that everyone enjoys and laughs at, and then very quickly becomes annoying by repeating it over and over again. Their gimmicks have long outstayed their welcome.
FYI: You don't need to be worthy to pick Stormbreaker, unlike Mjolnir.
The irony in "you can overuse a joke" cue Chris Evans joke, cue Ayoo
I mean no hate, but people have gotten to picky with Marvel, forgetting just the entertainment of it... I know the film has its flaws but I still love it, each film has a little bit of something to love... People just need to relax a bit and enjoy movies even if they're bad
so now you're telling people what to do and how to feel...

America was able to use lightning in Endgame also
This movie was a miss for me.
My review:
Thor: Love and Thunder does attempt to explore themes of love and loss whilst introducing the Mighty Thor and putting Thor on a journey of self discovery.
Valkyrie never looks bothered about what
she's doing in the film and doesn't even take
part in the last battle cos "she might get
killed", despite talking to Jane earlier in the
film about how she wants her Viking death so she can get to Valhalla.
Well said. I truly was hyped for this film but it just hurt to see how tgese charakters were slaughter by the direktor
Its a shame the movie sucks. I hate that they have turned Thor into a moron. They need to keep Taika away from Thor at all cost
i dunno if taika is the problem, didn't he direct ragnarok and that was an amazing movie! possibly my fav thor movie
3:20 “people forget how good Thor’s character development was”
Well you see Seb, we’re about to do it all over again 😅
Leave the GOATS ALONE! I love the goats. Goats screamed long before the meme happened. They were great for comedic breaks here and there. I giggled everytime it happened.
the goats sucked
i didnt realise their boat had a neon sign: "Cocktails & Dreams" referencing that 80s film 'Cocktail' with Tom Cruise
I loved the goats and everyone in the theater was laughing at them
