I appreciate the energy you bring to your videos. And the fact that you acknowledge that flip phones aren't always for seniors. I need to replace my nokia flip because t-mobile will shut down the 3g network soon. It's great that some companies still think in consumers. The phone is a little big compared to my Nokia, but has a huge keyboard and a lot of functionalities. It's a good alternative. Thank you for the review!

Is this phone available as unlocked? I need something I can use with my current carrier which is T-Mobile who I've been with for more than 10 years.
I have antivirus installed on my current smartphone; do you need to install antivirus software on a flip phone being sold today? I wish the phone was offered in another color besides Henry Ford 1932 black. My second flip phone in 2005; a Samsung device was a nice silver and navy blue trim device. You don't see flip phones today in colors like that; nothing but flat black.

After a little over a year of use, my phone is going bad. The screen messes up. Sometimes, it gets pixelated, sometimes it goes white. Sometimes it goes black, and I have to restart the phone. And other times, the main display cover changes to different colors and gets blurry and the icons get enlarged. And sometimes, the phone works normally but no longer consistently. And my camera doesn't work anymore (the first sign that the phone was going bad). Any tips on how I can fix my Alcatel Go Flip 4?

Take a look at the Sonim XP3 plus, Kyocera DuraXV Extreme or Dura XE Epic and the Cat S22 Flip all extremely durable. They all run android Go 11 except the Sonim XP3 plus it runs android non google close to ASOP. They are elite durible flips.
Alcatel is decent but can you please consider reviewing durable flips KaiOS 3.0 isn't ready yet though as much as I would like it to be.

I just ordered this phone. it does have a hotspot.. I use my laptop for other purposes.. I just dont want a q.r code capable phone. Im just like not into being tracked.

Is there a way to disable the app store? I am looking for a flip phone for my son. He currently has an iPhone 13 but he keeps playing games during school hours and the teachers have been complaining about him. I have thought of a flip phone as a solution but I don't want one where he can still get access to video games at all. I like this one because of wifi calling and some other features, such as Bluetooth but I dislike the fact that it has games and an app store. Thanks.

How to fix incoming calls going straight to voicemail
Thank you a million times over. With this and my 10 yr old granddaughter, we managed to walk through the phone set up easily. Three (3) this to add:
1.) How does one find the info of phone aka phone number and specs of phone?
We are not finding it in the settings,thing that would be helpful is going through how to set up email, as I am getting a notices stating my password is incorrect, although it allows one to see the PW typed in and it is correct, and I further logged into email thru my computer and IPAD, both, and was accepted. I think seriously it has to do with not setting up google. I only use Brave browser. As I do not see a way access that internet browser, I guess that it’s my problem and I am out of luck?
3.) How does one make calls out without first inserting phone numbers into phone?
It's in settings device I think but for easy access I added the phone info as a contact 👍

I remember the days I had to pay $300+ for a phone like that, they where top of the line
I had a 'regulation' big screen Android - hated it [always butt dialing] and gave it to a friend. Took the SIM card out and put it back in my old flip phone. Was forced to upgrade 'flips' - T-Mobile dumping 3G service. I bought one of these in 4G. Now I have to figure out how to hook it up to my PC for file transfer - PC won't recognize it. If anyone has any tips - I'm all ears. I think it has to do with installing drivers on the PC.

I can't view MMS messages when I receive them on my Alcatel Go Flip 4 phone, when I try to download the MMS the download fails. I checked the MMS auto retrieve settings (ON), and I'm on a T-Mobile pay-as-you-go $10 a month (1GB data plan (use very little of that)). Anyone know what could be the problem?

Yes, you can change it there are several offered inside the phone.
Can you PLEASE help me with this phone? Neither the people at T-mobile or the people at Alcatel could answer what seems to be a simple question. I'm currently using an LG flip phone but have to upgrade to 4G. With my current phone, I can be on a call, using either my bluetooth headset or having the speaker turned on, and read and send text messages while on a call. Do you know if this phone is capable of that? Thank you SO MUCH!
It makes complete sense that the employees at T-Mobile don't have the answer for you. They receive as much training on how to use that phone as you do.
