How To Fix Phone Screen That's Falling Off
ฝัง
- เผยแพร่เมื่อ 13 พ.ย. 2023
- In this video I fix a phone where the screen has started to fall off. The fix for this is re-applying the glue that holds the screen in place.

Could i slide duck tape or some ither tape under fir it to hold or no?
I'm not sure you could get duct tape to hold both sides but a thin double sided tape would probably work.
Do you have any solution on how to retrieve data from the phone where the screen has come off completely, the phone is not switching on even..?
Hi, if the phone is not responsive and not even turning on I don't think you will be able to recover the data yourself. Unfortunately in this situation I think your only option would be to replace the screen or use a professional data recovery service.
My screen is slightly lifting up on the rigth side
Same
But now it had gotten wprse
Is the screen still holding now?? Im curious how long does that glue last
Hi, it's around 9 months since I glued the screen back on and it's still fine.
Well I dropped my phone and the panel separated from it but after a while the panel also like separated into two pieces and today I inserted the charger into the charging pot and it's not even turning on, I used to do it and the screen would turn on but it had different colours on it, well I'm thinking to take it to some professional care but if there is a way in which it can be repaired at home, could you please tell me about it
Unfortunately I don't think there is really anything you can do now other than replace the screen.
@@EasyConsoleFixes it's gonna be the fourth time that I'm replacing the screen though
Hey guys, it's been a month since my phone has broken. Same case as my screen popped out and I thought it was durable so I could be careless. Instead, my hands got slippery and dropped the phone. The screen won't work but the phone still active and alarm still ringing like hell... I have been trying a long time to find the solution but I found none of it. Please help and don't worry, I'll wait cause my phone will go nowhere. thanks
Could the ribbon cable to the screen have got damaged, unfortunately I think a replacement screen would be the only solution then.
Use a otg cable and connect mouse you can also connect keyboard for typing
@@xpak_gaming this is very interesting can you repeat but explain to phone problems for dummies lol
Can the glue damage the lcd?
Any excess glue should be cleaned off before it dries so there should be no risk to the LCD.
Could is use a different glue?
Some people have used super glue and it has worked but it's not really the right glue as it is a bit brittle.
Update please, is it still holding? I have to do this aswell💔
Hi, yeah its holding fine. It's 4 months now since I did mine and there has been no issues.
@@EasyConsoleFixes appreciate your response, thank you.
How about now?@@EasyConsoleFixes
May I know the cost of the glue
Hi, the glue should be $6-$8, there is an Amazon link in the description.
@@EasyConsoleFixeshow much this Will cost by going to a professional?
Love the Irish accent bro fae your Scottish brethren
I'm glad someone loves the accent, I'm not sure most people can understand me haha.
@@EasyConsoleFixes lol, I stayed in Birmingham and honestly coz of my broad glaswegian accent people always said what what what hahaha
Can I use this for
The back plate of
My Phone 📱?
The Hot weather
Has made it lift
Like the screen
You are showing
But it is the Back
Of my Phone
Not the screen
Depending on the model of phone yes you can do this to glue the back on. Most modern phones the back is just glued on.
Just make sure the back didn't pop off because the battery has started to swell or distort.

And Help
Should I replace the battery as well since the swelling is what did it or just glue it.
Yes you should, if the battery has swelled it's really not safe to charge the phone. If the battery goes it can easily start a fire.
Can i just use a double tape?????
Yes double sided tape will work. The only thing with tape is it might still let dust and moisture into the phone.
Does nail glue work it strong
:(
Nail glue would probably work but it's not something I have ever used.
😮 I was shocked I took my back cover on my Samsung Galaxy A21s and saw my hold screen is lifting out how is it possible did the glue just gave up and melted off
The glue just degrades over time, it is worth checking that the battery hasn't started to bulge as that would make the phone dangerous to charge.
What do you do if the screen already fell off
Has the ribbon cable disconnected from the screen or the phone, if not fixing it is the same, glue the screen back down. If the ribbon has came out of the phone you may have to disassemble the phone to put it back in.
Can u use any glue?
I have seen people use super glue but I wouldn't, it not really the right glue for this job.
my entire screen fell. idk if I'll be able to buy that same glue here in Philippines 😅
I think meron sa shopee
My oppo a77 did this the face came away from the base before I could take it back to the shop it had fallen to the floor and split apart the ribbon between both ripped in half.
I took it back to the shop but because the ripping had broke the phone was no longer under warranty.
I had to get a new phone and asked the phone company if they be able to download the data to a new phone.
Their answer was they don’t repair phones I would have to go to a tech firm.
Went to the tech firm the girl told me this was the first time the face of a phone has fallen off the base and quoted $80 deposit and then at least 3 weeks to be sent away to try and retrieve the data.
Suggest I try a different firm.
What I can’t understand is the face is in good condition it’s just the copper ribbon between face plate and base is torn.
Can we replace the ribbon.
It really depends on the model phone you have if you can just replace the ribbon. depending on the how the ribbon connects to the screen, you may need to replace the whole screen now that the ribbon is damaged. A lot of phones will also need a lot of disassembly in order to get access to where the ribbon connects to the main body of the phone.
@@EasyConsoleFixes thanks for the reply I think this must be an easy fix the face is basically perfect not even a scratch however the ribbon is broke I will post a photo of my broken ph.
I dont have any money for the glue or rhe glue any alternitive methords? My phone case is keeping it together at the moment... My problem is the EXACT same as yours because i dropped it 😅
Pls help🙏
@@LightC4Life You could try super glue if you are stuck but it's not really the right glue as it's a bit brittle.
My phone was also in a case so I have no idea how long it was like this before I fixed it, as long as the phone case is holding the screen down you could leave it until you pick up the correct glue.
@@EasyConsoleFixes I'm going to go to the repair shop this seems like 14 pounds let me see the repair shop price and I'll find out
My phones been doing this, i suspect its because i dropped it. I
You could be right, I drop mine a lot.
I dropped mine too, what other glue can I use?
@@Nancy-en5bm Some people have used super glue and it has worked but I personally wouldn't, it's not really the right glue for the job.
Yeh I keep dropping my phone on the same part of of the frame then 4 drops later boom I can see the inside of my phone it sucks cus everytime I drop it I don't have my case on :(
I have the same problem but i don't know the cause
I remember dropping it
And i think its also because of the battery but i can't see a bump or bloating in the back
There didn't seem to be any issue with my battery, the glue just seemed to have let go. My phone is in a rubber case and gets dropped a lot so that could be the cause.
But like i dont got the money to buy the glue😢💀
Idk how ima fix it😭😭🤞💀
bro its just like 2 or 4 dollars it might be under 10 dollars just ask ur mom
@@ScarTwenty could be different country and dollar conversion rate is a really high
This might be risky tho
Not as risky as your screen falling off haha.
