The screen protector consists of a layer of glass sandwiched between 2 films of plastic, or an outer layer of plastic. In other words, the glass part of the protector isn't exposed, so you're only applying glue to the plastic which doesn't have a crack in it. The glass protector has the crack and it's under plastic. That's why this isn't doing anything. You're not sealing the crack. EDIT: GUYS FULL DISCLOSURE. I AM WRONG. GLASS SCREEN PROTETCTORS DO NOT HAVE AFILM OF PLASTIC ON THEM. Nope, what I should have showed is that eventually I got the glue that you used to adhere the glass to the digitizer and I used it to adhere a screen protector on the phone.
Let me make a clarification, the first phone I did try repairing the screen protector before I put it straight on the glass of my other phone which didn't have a screen protector on it.

Sorry to hear that. I eventually got the glue they use to bond a screen to a digitizer and glued a screen saver to my phones screen. Finger print works. Cheaper fix to add additional protection.

My €800 Samsung Tab S6's screen cracked after 2 years of babying it, I'm gonna kill myself for what I did.. @@catchinxbodiezz9299 You be right man. THere be a film of plastic UNDER the glass. Not ON TOP OF THE glass. MY bad.
Screen protectors are tempered glass. Very strong until they break even once. If i remember its got something to do with surface tension
I Would press on the screen when applying superglue, it might help it fill the crack by capillarity effect.
There’s nothing I hate more than a cracked phone screen
True
Facts.
Hitler?
It’s a bit annoying. I don’t know if I would HATE it 😂😊
@Patrick Smith hairy butt problems 🫣
Is there any similar substance and method that would actually be effective?
Replace the screen protector, my goodness, how ridiculous.
I wonder if it would work differently on the actual screen (not screen protector)?
Can i use a cutter blade instead i dont have a razor blade
Should try a matte screen protector or just a regular privacy one
This is why products have instructions and warning labels.

Did this affect the touch screen features or damage the lcd screen under the glass ?
it does not affect anything
I tried to repair the screen with super glue and I had the same results. Oh well its an older Kindle so I will live it. Thanks for trying.
How is the result?
You might want to remove screen protector before trying to fix the screen......
Bottom line : Gravity is NOT optional, buy a Sandwich rugged Shell on day One. Problem solved 😂
gooooodd
jaki to klej?
My crack screen made me cry for 3 days
.poor thing!
I don't like it here😭😭😭
It is tempered glass that is cracked. Not the lcd itself

That’s a horrible idea. Superglue turns telephone screens white that’s why forensics uses it to get fingerprints
Did you put the glue on Top of your screen protector?
Yes, that's what I triec
it looks like you have a plastic scratch protector over the screen. that should come off first.
I wonder if it work cuz my iphone has big cracks😢
I've got a micro size scratch on my tempered glass which I purchased today and im regretting about it😂😊
Same exact thing happened to me
I also have a rugged phone (Doogee s59 pro) and my screen is shattered 😭 so I'm trying to see hacks on how to fix it
Super glue doesn't work. 😝
I'm I'm glad I saw this and didn't waste my time but mine is on the actual screen of the phone not the screen protector
If you watch the whole video you see that I first tried on the screensaver。And then I tried on my phone because I actually have a crack on the screen。
@@RACTracks oh Ok
Also, maybe a different brand of super glue or a gel type super glue may work differently??
my phone wont get off of

Try oil super glue
does this work on an actual screen? i have small cracks on my new phone, and my screen protector is on its way of being delivered.
