I don’t blame you for not messing with mold! It’s just not worth the time, trouble, and health risk! You guys have tackled an enormous project on top of the emotional battle involved with the house being your old home. You both are amazing!
I've had to clear out both a house and an apartment. In both cases, there were significant issues with damage and extremely soiled items. At some point I knew I had to simply power through it all, and let things go. In a way, I found it cathartic, because both situations were associated with really toxic people and history. No regrets.
Everytime I see a video of your old first home, it just breaks my heart to see it like that....I can't imagine how you must have been feeling when you were going through everything. ❤
Jocelyn, the freeze dried foods will survive 25 years only if the containers are stored in a cool dark place. If your garage gets too hot , it will either shorten or ruin the food. Love watching your channel.
Good to get rid of the moldy stuff! Like I said before, I feel ya. My parents house was a dump. I sold it cleaned out, but not renovated since I lived in another state. Time is money and it would have cost too much to fix it. Hope you get good renters and can recoup your costs and then some!
There’s a lot of the past in your previous home. You have moved on graciously and are handling this very well, especially with a tiny human expected soon! Best to you and your family!
I'm just catching up on your back stories since I just found you a few weeks ago. I had to stop mid-video on this one after watching two others because I was getting too emotional. I've had to clean out after hoarding family members a couple times as well as old farm buildings full of mouse and chicken poop. But, the reasons behind my clean outs weren't nearly as emotionally charged as yours. Whatever Andrew said that was cut, I'm sure I, and my niece and nephew said just a "few" times. I also have to wonder how many tears were shed by you between cuts in the video. My heart was breaking for you as I watched. I'm glad I'm watching these after the fact and have seen you happy with your new family and with little Laurel bringing such joy. You've worked hard, been through a lot, seem to have come out on the other side now and deserve happiness.
LOL, it’s funny, your sister took all the baby clothes, “even the little girl ones” 🤣 and now you’re about to have another baby girl 😍😇😭❤️ this is a fun project to watch!
Every time I watch the videos from this house,my eyes tear up for you,Jocelyn…🥺This must have been hard for you to do.I hope that in the end the house will turn out perfect and you found your treasures back.🥰
Man, what a flashback, I can hear the squawk squawk of the toy! That little pull toy dog is the reason my 2 year old self fell down a very long set of stairs. That is the oldest memory I have, reaching for my dropped pull toy dog on the step beneath me and then ending up at the bottom of the steps. I spent 3 days in the hospital and kept trying to leave to walk home.
I'm with Andrew on the mold. That's a lifetime ago. Andrew is a keeper. He puts me in mind of my late husband. History, history, history ALL the time. I appreciate that more now. BTW LOVE that new home. Can't wait for this bay beee.
Haha! 5:23 working their pants off!! Good job! I can’t imagine how overwhelming it must be with everything you and Andrew have going. How easy for me to lie in bed and watch you working so hard. Thanks for sharing!! Love you guys!! 💕💕
I am so glad you are dealing with all this. And there will be a light at the end. My prayers 🙏 are with youvand the family. Please Stay Safe, Happy And Healthy. Have A Wonderful Day
your tattoo is awesome !!it is my mantra since i read it in english class when i was in 6th grade and i;m 65. now. i love you more !! good luck it is coming along!!! thanks for keeping us updated. lots of work
Personally I think u and Andrew ( the angel in your life !) need some time to rest when that little bundle of joy comes soon. You two have worked too hard the last year and come thru on a positive note . Relax and bond with that little girl , slow down and enjoy life .
I was finally able to read your tattoo Jocelyn! I had been trying for so long! Really inspirational! Thanks for sharing this major project it's going to be beyond beautiful! Congratulations to you and your family on your new arrival so do you have any names picked out?
Plus people don't know how to build a fire. Used to work in a hotel with fire places and we would always get called cause People smoked themselves out.
I love how excited you were that your sister was taking the baby clothes……even the baby girl clothes! Now look who needs those baby girl clothes! 💕 I pray this stage of restoration is all behind you now Jocelyn and that you are profiting from all your hard work! Most of all I pray for all the emotions you must have had while going through this. So glad you and Andrew were able to do this together.
Bitter sweet , just looking at your face made me sad for you all . You kept it from us with your sweet demeanor . Good job I’m glad Andrew was there for you .
All of us treasure seekers, eBayers, etc., etc., go through the same thing when we move, the huge dumpster, the sorting, toss-keep-sell piles and a bit of moisture or mold for good measure! 🤣
Yep!!! You guys took on a huge project, but so much potential and the views are epic! In this real estate market, it's money in the bank even if you only plan on leasing it. No better savings account than real estate!👍
I hope you kept those large GI joes those are highly collectible I think the more stuff they have with him the better of course but I know the large ones are very collectible because there aren't very many of them and they don't make them that size anymore.
Let me know what you want for the old pen reel. The one I had from my dad when I was a teen. People broke into our shed in Rockport texas right after hurricane Harvey twisted our travel trailer. I was so sad cuz my Dad has passed 50 yrs ago. If it still working I would love to have one similar to it. Thank you.
Clean up those Fisher Price toys and grease em up with some WD-40 and you'll be good to go! That GI Joe did look like a zombie! 🧟 It looks like you could make some money if the items aren't sentimental to you. That dumpster is packed with yucky stuff! Good your getting rid of it. It's heartbreaking about those comic books and the toys. 💔😭 So sweet that Andrew asked if Jocelyn was happy. He really loves her. It's nice to have friends/connections to help. Then you know the work is going to be done right! The master bedroom isn't an ensuite? Like you said earlier about the fireplace you can install an electric fireplace.
Don't forget the handicap shower head and bar. Extremely useful especially for children and dogs. I would remove the wood stove and redo the wall to give ether room more space.
Glad you are taking care of the mold! I just hope it will not be too expensive. It is nice to see Andrew's son helping out too! He is hot! LOL. Take care everyone!
If you pour straight muriatic acid. In the toilet bowl and it will clean it like new! Open the window, do not put the lid down, let it set, do not breathe in the fumes!
I hope you saved those Tupperware burger press and containers in the box with all the old Fisher-Price toys. Kevin at Commonwealth Pickers knows that Tupperware always sells!
I would never have known you had all this going on last year. Hoarder House, this Ham House, and running your business! 👏👏 well done.
And pregnant
And still found time to get pregnant! Atta girl!
@@wendypluchino4500 this was July last year not pregnant yet
And sell her house and buy a new house!!!!
This girl had energy to burn...
I don’t blame you for not messing with mold! It’s just not worth the time, trouble, and health risk! You guys have tackled an enormous project on top of the emotional battle involved with the house being your old home. You both are amazing!
It is always good to have friends with strong backs who are willing to help!
It's always a blessing when you have family and good friends willing to step in and help you out
I’m sure they’re not doing it for nothing. They should be getting paid.
I've had to clear out both a house and an apartment. In both cases, there were significant issues with damage and extremely soiled items. At some point I knew I had to simply power through it all, and let things go. In a way, I found it cathartic, because both situations were associated with really toxic people and history. No regrets.
its satisfying when your finished.and amazing that we can get through it
Well done!

So many memories. And now you will have all new happy memories to make. You are blessed with good family and friends because you’ll are good to them.
You and Andrew are amazing. I can't believe all you two. Glad you got the new house many happy memories in it for years to come
Good to get rid of the moldy stuff! Like I said before, I feel ya. My parents house was a dump. I sold it cleaned out, but not renovated since I lived in another state. Time is money and it would have cost too much to fix it. Hope you get good renters and can recoup your costs and then some!
You're an amazing woman, Jocelyn! 💐
And, bravo to Drew for his support of you and all these goings on! 🙂
You are an amazing power couple! 👏👏👏
There’s a lot of the past in your previous home. You have moved on graciously and are handling this very well, especially with a tiny human expected soon! Best to you and your family!

I can't believe you had all of this going on. That's alot of work, and you kept everything else going. Good for you guys.
Looking good, i can’t wait to see it when it’s finished!again it’s so sad that someone would treat a home like that🥰
LOL, it’s funny, your sister took all the baby clothes, “even the little girl ones” 🤣 and now you’re about to have another baby girl 😍😇😭❤️ this is a fun project to watch!

Looking great! Maybe put a new tub in, people with little kids might want to give them a bath and also, for resale, that would be good
99% of the time I take showers but there are those times. I agree with you - if you have children a tub is a blessing to have

Looking forward to seeing the end results of the B&B
We you have a lot on your plate, I don’t know how you do it and Andrew has been amazing. I love shopping with you it’s absolutely fascinating.
I love these videos, so glad you documented all this!! I am just sorry you went through all that.
Those vintage toys were so awesome. I had those tops (or ones similar) as a kid in the 60’s, 70’s
Can’t wait to see the finished home! And how long it took to get it into a vacation spot! You will be making money real soon!
She did a tour of the house about 2 weeks ago where it was almost done
I hope she sells it, that house had some bad juju
@@sarahsiskin6780 Me too🙂
Great headway made so far!!!
And still more to do but you can see the light at the end of the tunnel!!!
Life is just full of surprises isn’t it! Some wanted, others unwanted 😮 hope you’re feeling well , can’t wait to hear about your baby
That has to be a relief getting this done, but sad at the same time....You're a wonderful woman!!

What a difference a year makes!
So nice to see you be able to fix up the house the way you always wanted to. Sorry though for all the loss that could've been prevented.
Personally I think u and Andrew ( the angel in your life !) need some time to rest when that little bundle of joy comes soon. You two have worked too hard the last year and come thru on a positive note . Relax and bond with that little girl , slow down and enjoy life .
Mold is nothing to fool with! It can be deadly to many people. It hurts, but let it go!
Thanks 😊
I loved hearing Jocelyn say, “I’ll grab a banana box”. Nice to know some things could be saved. 💕
So much has been done but so much to still do! Good job Jocelyn!
I tell yea I put fabric softener sheet in books. Takes musty smell out and comic books. Works
They were stuck together with mold.
I hope you have have great day
I have to give you props for reaching in to all that stuff!
I was finally able to read your tattoo Jocelyn! I had been trying for so long! Really inspirational! Thanks for sharing this major project it's going to be beyond beautiful! Congratulations to you and your family on your new arrival so do you have any names picked out?
It’s funny the things we forget about that we have. I always ask myself “how could I ever forget I had that”?!….
and when you part with them you dont miss them
I read somewhere that musty books will lose there smell if you put them into a bag of kitty litter. It might be worth a try.
It was mold which is bad so it has to go
Thanks for sharing all your footage of you own clean out
Good job everyone.!!!
Good thing your sis saved Juliette’s baby clothes, just in case 😉
shame to see your life going in the dumpster...but..you have a new wonderful future to look forward to now,
Plus people don't know how to build a fire. Used to work in a hotel with fire places and we would always get called cause People smoked themselves out.
You had some great stuff in the garage! Vintage toys, GI Joe, etc!
Some great finds in the garage!

Her sister is also pregnant with a girl😃 how funny is that😁
Onward and upward. Love you all.
I’d crawl into the dumpster for those Comics. Work of art
It was sad to throw them away, but the pages were stuck together with mold.
So destructive, mould is. :-(
I like the lay out of this house except for the kitchen. Can't wait for the end result.
That’s a hard day. Am emotionally draining task. I’m so happy you’re on the other side now.
The last shot of you hanging on the dumpster, I 100% see Juliet ❤️
Jocelyn, I cant believe you didnt do this so long ago!!! Doesn’t this feel amazing! So freeing!
She only had just acquired possession of the property🙂
You are amazing. You never let it change your wonderful altitude charming as always. Stay safe and Happy. 🙏😊❤
Bitter sweet , just looking at your face made me sad for you all . You kept it from us with your sweet demeanor . Good job I’m glad Andrew was there for you .
I’m sorry you had to deal with a big mess, but it really comes together to look great!
Dude about lost his britches!
I made sure to wear clean ones that day too...lol
People with kids need a tub !! Need at least one bathroom with one.
So there was some cool stuff in the garage!!
I am in love with all the toys, that bunny reminded me of one I had
Probably should have kept one bathroom with a tub. But great job with the clean up.
Wow, lots of work!
All of us treasure seekers, eBayers, etc., etc., go through the same thing when we move, the huge dumpster, the sorting, toss-keep-sell piles and a bit of moisture or mold for good measure! 🤣
I simply love this channel! 🖤💜

I hope you kept those large GI joes those are highly collectible I think the more stuff they have with him the better of course but I know the large ones are very collectible because there aren't very many of them and they don't make them that size anymore.
You guys have had ur hands full with all that going on
As you're putting all those old toys in the banana box, I'm thinking "no, Jocelyn, you don't really want to clean them all".🤥
That bike is a good one! !!!!Specialized!!!!!
I was thinking of Kate when you found the toys at 8.00😊
So so sorry you have had to go through this with your former home. It must have been so difficult for you.
Good progress! Happy for you!
Oh that comic book collection is just so sad! I'm glad you found at least some goodies.
Thank you.
Will you be redoing some of the old furniture in the house. I t will bring a different look.
I have a plan. ☺️
Clean up those Fisher Price toys and grease em up with some WD-40 and you'll be good to go!
That GI Joe did look like a zombie! 🧟

Those food supply buckets make perfect hen laying bins
Love the irony “my sister is going to take the girl clothes. Just in case”❤️. Agreed not to mess with moldy anything. Best to you 😉
Woww. Such a diffrence..👍
Good job guys! 💪💙
Progress !!!!!!!!!
I hope your being careful with the mold.
Took a break from Josh Duggar sentencing coverage when I saw this video come up.
This was last year how did it turn out in the end?
She did a house tour about 2 weeks ago where it was almost done
Look up “cerusing” for those oak kitchen cabinets!
Those vintage toys are worth something!
Don't forget the handicap shower head and bar. Extremely useful especially for children and dogs. I would remove the wood stove and redo the wall to give ether room more space.
Your Fisher price dog, my kids had one and it was always called dirty old gog lol
That looks like a 3-gallon flush toilet. You can get a .8-gpf

Sorry can't watch this so horrible. You are a very strong lady. God bless you
