Lady, you never have to justify your family decisions to a bunch of strangers online. Do what you got to do, and decisions ultimately come down to what you and your husband decide. We don’t get a vote and we don’t get to disapprove of your decisions.
Can I just say I appreciate that you never do clickbait titles, Lisa! I knew this was what you were actually going to say in the video when I clicked on it. So refreshing. Congrats to you guys and excited for all that is to come!! 😍
I've never connected your channel with your home. Don't sell yourself short. It's so much more. I see your channel as ideals and encouragements for being a keeper at home and godly living and loving your family. Exiting news. Looking forward to what you will do with it all!
For the bros: They bought property, more land, with a creek, and they're building a new house because after looking for years, they couldn't find something within their budget that had all the things they wanted. The end. You're welcome.😂
I have watched your show since you lived on Boone Street, and you kept me company during a very difficult time in my life. Thank you so much. Congratulations on your success and building your home. I’m still here and will be in the future.😊
By the way, I often have 4 little girls here in our house ages 10, 8, 5 and 2 they are orphaned and live with Grandpa. So my husband and I have them over for the weekend twice a month and they love watching my “Inspiration Lady” videos with me. That’s you! You’re our inspiration lady! They love watching your girls in the kitchen, makes them feel they can also do that and we go and cook something right after watching your videos! thought I’d share that to bring you an extra smile today!😘
I’m an OG Boone Street gal and I couldn’t be more excited in the news that we are moving! New content, a fresh take on home design, home making at its best. Watching your family grow, anticipating the next stages in life, and a bountiful of blessings. Best of luck, many blessings! 🌻
I see you more as a "home is wherever your family is" type. You homemake, create, provide for your FAMILY. You encourage others to do the same no matter where they live. Excited for yor family!!❤
My parents built a house 20 years ago in this “new old house” spirit. The outside is done as a beautiful New England colonial and the interior design and woodwork is based around 1910. I grew up there and have heard so many people ask how old the house is, expecting it to be in the 150-200year range. Old houses have so much value but the “new house with character” is totally doable! God bless you on this next step of your journey. ❤
I’m with you. I stumbled on a house near me that was a new build, but built to look like an actual old farmhouse. It was the first time I was tricked and couldn’t tell if it were new or old. It prompted me to also consider the same idea. I even sent a letter to the owners and they gave me their builder information! So excited for you!
I’m an OG from Boone St but I’m good with the move. Not that it matters. I think it’s exciting and helps me imagine the possibilities of change in my own life. You go, girl. May packing be light and swift.
Building a new home to look old like you want seems like the best of both worlds. You can arrange the rooms to suit your needs and still bring character in with salvage pieces. Win! Win!
Exciting times and days ahead. As believers we cannot say our “forever” home because we only have one “forever home” and that is in eternity with Jesus!! Thanks for sharing your lives and content with us!! Blessings
I LOVE how you acknowledged how we never know how God is going to lead!! 👆🏻🙏🏻🤲🏻 As a Mom of 7 kids, and now empty nesters…with 7 Grandbabies, and I’m only 53 years young 🤭🤗.. we sold our big family home we built and now live in a 3 bed, 2.5 bath townhome, and we LOVE it.. enough room for kids visiting etc.. but we never know the gifts the Lord has in store.. I’m THRILLED for you and Luke!! 🙏🏻👆🏻🙌🏻
Congratulations how exciting Lisa! Your family is growing and I'm sure you need more space. We're looking forward to your next adventure! I would love to be able to build my own house. Don't worry we're not going anywhere! We will be here for the long hall. Your channel is more than your house. Good luck and God bless!
Pfffft…..you can do it and I can’t wait to watch !!!! I love old also but the benefits of new looking old is definitely a positive, everything will be square, no plaster walls, no musty basement, no leaky basement walls, no mice holes to find, no constant repairs, no walls or ceilings without insulation, no insulation full of mouse or bat poo, no rotted wood areas and all the things with old houses to deal with. Old or new, it’s a house but the family inside makes it a home ❤ I have no doubt you will make it a beautiful old farmhouse !!! I’m so happy for you !!!
Congratulations on your new chapter! Just a word of advice from someone who is currently building, take notes about the place you’re in. Things you like, and things you’d change if you could, and things you straight don’t like at all. Notice measurements, and other details too. Like how deep or shallow are the overhangs on your house, how you like the “bird boxes” to look, etc. A lot of those things are things I never noticed about houses until we started to build and we had to make decisions on. Good luck! And thank you for sharing your journey with us!☺️
❤Our last property was beautiful, but the neighbors were difficult so we prayed for a healthier place to raise our babies. This home popped up 20 years ago with less land (2 acres) but in the perfect placement for all that we wanted to do (living in the country) without too much to manage while having jobs outside the house. I’m so excited to see how you decorate and ‘fix’ the new own home up! Thank you for taking us along!!! 😊
OG subscriber and I'm so happy for you! You helped me find contentment in my 1910 farmhouse and a simpler way of life. I'm so grateful and have so much joy caring for it!
Congrats on the new season. Praying that the Lord blessed your family in the transition. I think it's strange when people say "forever home" about temporary things. Forever Home is once we are in the Kingdom...I long for the day when I get to be Home in Heaven. I think it's good to live in full awareness that all of this on earth is temporary.
Hi Lisa, i’m one of the many that fell in love with your farmhouse from the initial purchase. I love old homes too but where I live ( suburban east coast of Australia) they are very few & far between. So I built my own “ New old house “, a copy of an old Australian Queenslander and although it isn’t as faithfully replicated as I would have liked it still gives me the same feeling of contentment as living in an historical house. 22 years on i’m still enjoying adding that old home feel with antique finds and traditional garden ideas etc. It’s amazing how many people who pass by ask us how old our house is and are shocked when we tell them it was built in 2002. I truly hope our house will be a part of our family’s history for generations to come and I’m so looking forward to joining you on your new journey.
Smart idea. We are in our 60's almost 70 now. Let go of our large off grid home we put up 20 years ago. Now settling into a Cottage we are building. Our children are grown and it's time to think small. More time to travel and spend time with family. Will never let go of our gardens, chickens and ag rural living. There is a beauty in simplicity.
Wow Lisa. What an amazing story. I have followed you since Boone Street. I am so happy for you and Luke and your children. You are a faithful servant, an excellent mother and you and Luke make such an amazing team together. You have followed The Lord, gotten out of debt and He has blessed you. He heard the desires of your heart and now just look at what He is doing. So happy for you guys and excited to see your new house build and the old soul and character you bring to it, to create the perfect environment and make it a home with a life story written into every nook and cranny. No doubt it will be absolutely amazing!!! Thank you for sharing. It’s so beautiful to witness The Lord Bless you and reveal His love for you in fulfilling the desires of your hearts! He is so good!!! 👑🙏🙏🙏🙌🙌💜
I’ve been here since Boone Street! What a plot twist!!! So happy for your new journey. You are showing many families ways to live out all the phases of their lives. Can’t wait to see the years ahead with the kids graduating, weddings and grandchildren. So much to look forward to. Best of luck on your new adventure. From one of your faithful followers.
We recently moved as well. So many people have asked if it’s our forever place, and I reply similarly to you. This is where God has us, we are very happy and will enjoy every moment God has us here, whether it is for the rest of our time here on earth or a few years.
I have been following since the end of Boone St. When you moved into this current home, I really enjoyed watching all the renovations you did on the home. However, as I watched your family grow, I felt that you guys would move one day. You guys really brought this place back to life, and the new owners will surely enjoy it. I'm praying that your move will be fruitful.
One cannot build a truly historical house-it will always be new. The key to creating a timeless building lies in the detailing, complexity, and craftsmanship. Historical buildings were once new, yet they were admired from the start for their beauty and attention to detail. Over time, they gained character through patina and wear, but their timeless quality began with thoughtful design. To achieve this, observe old buildings closely, studying proportions, layouts, and fine details like doors, windows, and trims. Look at them holistically, from top to bottom, understanding how every element contributes to their harmony. Incorporate artisanal craftsmanship and materials that will age gracefully, ensuring the building develops richness over time. A timeless building is not an imitation of history but a design rooted in authenticity and care. With this approach, a new building can become one that stands the test of time.
Oh Lisa, I can't wait to see what you can do!! My parents moved from a 1720 house to a new house, my mom was able to make it so cozy and beautiful. It was quite a change from 1720 but no more plumbing and electrical problems!! I'm happy for you and I know you house will be beautiful and you will make it "you".
As someone who has been following you since the beginning, has had six kids right along with your eight, and has enjoyed you immensely to the point that you are the only TH-camr I still follow, I am so very excited for you and your family! You have such a gift to make anywhere you are beautiful and homey and comfy and I have no doubt that the next house will be an exciting journey! Thank you for sharing your life. Thank you for your inspiration and your encouragement and know that I am praying for you during the season and my little corner of PEI Canada
Isn't the character we love so much from old homes mostly from the craftsmanship and artistic style of the time? I know partially the look of worn wood is comforting. But these old homes were new once. I bet you and your husband will create your own version of home with beautiful creativity and craftsmanship.❤
Been following since Boone. I can’t wait to see what you come up with to making a new house feel old! We built in 2000 and the best compliment I received was when a roof guy came out and I overheard him say “I’ve seen a lot of people try to build an old farmhouse, but this is the closest to it.” 🎉
68 year old empty nester here. I am still not in my forever home on forever property! I think I have one more move in me. You absolutely can build new using reclaimed materials and end up with the results you desire!! I can"t wait to see what you and Luke do!!!
Oh wow - congratulations, Lisa. I seldom comment, but I’m one who has been following along since the very early days of your channel. I really admire how you are open to saying “goodbye” to your homes that have been such a big part of your family’s life, and knowing that, while a home is a blessing, it’s the people IN in that make it important. I’m looking forward to seeing what the future has in store for you!
My wife and I used to go to a small farm called The Weed Lady! She grew beautiful flowers and herbs and had a barn full of fresh and dried flowers and herbs! She had huge wreaths hanging everywhere and the aroma and colors were wonderful Every time I see your barn I think of her! Wherever you go it will be warm and comfortable! Anyone that buys your current place will be lucky! I can't wait to see your new home!
What great news. I am a long time follower and loved how you and family transitioned into this home. Cannot wait to follow you to the new home. A lot of love was poured into your home now, I can imagine the tug at the heart in letting it go. New memories await❤❤
Lisa, I want to congratulate you and your family on this new project👏🏼, they always bring so much excitement! My husband and I are empty nesters and are in the process of building our new “forever” home. I also love an old farmhouse style plan and would love to see your plan ideas. Please show it soon. Keep up the good work, God bless ❤
So happy for you guys! You and @JamerrillStewart were the two who inspired me to start looking into older homes with more land! Can't wait to see both new properties soon, and see how you will decorate your beautiful homes, and cook all kinds of yummy sourdough recipes in your new kitchens!!! Excited for this new chapter for you guys, Lisa! Congrats, you deserve it!
I’m so excited for you. I remember when you first got this place and moved, that was exciting as well. We are 69 and 73 and just bought 70 acres in the wilderness and starting over too, this is exciting news Lisa 🇨🇦🌷
You are, who you are…that’s why we watch you!! No worries for changes coming!! Cool!! PLEASE share with us the town home and the new home build also!! HOW EXCITING!!
A lot of the fun is watching you adapt a new/old space to suit your family needs. I found your channel right before the move from Boone. Watched as you added a baby, and another, and another…. 😊 and now another adaptation! How exciting for us! 😂
Lisa, you and your husband can do anything you put your mind to. You are young, amazing, talentet, hard working people, full of life and dreams. Your new house will look awsome. Im so happy for you!
I will be honest! I will miss your current house . It’s like grandmas house in a feeling . So comfortable and familiar that brings so much joy . But you will always do what’s best for your family and of course we as a community will support you no matter what! God bless your family and to new beginnings 🍾
I’m happy you are moving because it means new decorations and plans. I loved both of your previous houses even though it is not my still but I enjoy watching you making the new house your new family home. Cannot wait to watch this new chapter! 😊
Oh my gosh, Lisa, you are speaking my language! 🤩. Matt and I built a house in 2010 with the intent of making it old. We even borrowed antique house plans and used them to design our floor plan. AND we own that book! 😂. We’ve remodeled quite a few old houses for vacation rentals and I love them, but it’s difficult to find that perfect one. We’re talking now about maybe someday making a cottage community with all old house plans. Cant wait to see the progress!! Congrats!! 🎉
Oh my heart!!! ♥️ I’m surprised to say the least…happy for you, your home is where I find YOU! I will miss this house especially your kitchen! You have created the perfect YOU home! I will say though that I enjoy moving so if moving was a goal then bravo, Lisa!!! Whoever is lucky enough to get your gorgeous home will be so very blessed!!! I wish it could be me however I’m a 76 year old widow and my moving days are over. I wish they weren’t, but it is what it is. God bless you and your family in your next adventure! Love you! ❤❤❤
A friend of mine and her husband were renovatiing an old farmhouse but just before it was finished it burned to the ground. They were devastated because they loved that house. They rebuilt it new to look just liked it did before the fire. It was beautiful and you would never know it's not the old farmhouse. It can be done!
My husband is a custom builder. He has restored many old homes, stone homes , log homes and new builds. We are seniors and he is still working at what he loves. 24 years ago we built a new home on a corner town lot…. It’s a one of a kind, with a porch, gingerbread work, pool for the grandchildren and it has all the character of a country cottage. We always say there is one more home in us. I am the keeper of our home and I love it. I am very happy for your family.
I'm so happy for you and your family. Congratulations Lisa. I can't wait to go on this journey with you. I love your videos and I Ty for sharing your lives with us. Be blessed.
We just moved too! And we built a “new old home”. With the market the way it is in our area it ended up being cheaper to build than to buy! We got our acreage and all the character we desired! We are now starting our own homestead
I'm so excited for you! I met you this summer in ID and you talked about this land and the struggle with moving the kids etc. It's never a perfect time and sometimes you just have to make the leap or you never will! I can't wait to follow along as you do this remodel and new build!
Wow! This is very exciting news from someone who has followed you since your Boone Street home. I hope in the future to get a home too. I find so much inspiration from watching your decor ideas. I really loved the pantry renovation. That color just popped. I look forward to watch the transformation of this in between home. Plus, look forward to the tour. Thanks so much for sharing!
Wow this is so exciting!!! I can’t wait to see everything! Thank you so much for sharing all this with us! I’m praying that everything will go well and that all the things will fall into place for you and your sweet family! 😊❤
We pretty much did the same thing as you but we are 60 years old. Our first house was small and what we could afford and we stayed there about 12 years, as the kids grew up we bought another house with move space; we were there 15 years. Our kids grew up and moved out so we now are renovating an old farmhouse on 100 acres!! It will be our forever home. We moved my husband’s parents to the land so they can be close to us. It has two ponds and a creek on it, now that the house is livable we have started working on the land. When my husband retires in 12 months, we will move there full time. Enjoy the process and I can’t wait to see the progress. 🥰
I’m so thrilled for you guys!! That property is stunning! We are building from scratch as well. 👏🏻 and the absence of mold makes me happy even though I LOVE old homes. You are going to do such a beautiful job
Here from Boone Street! We are also building a new “old” home! We had an older home, fixed it up and it was such a headache. My family had farm land and we all dreamed of building our farm back up. And my husband wanted to build so it just made sense to move back to the family farm and build. We’re building a two story white farmhouse with a somewhat old floor plan and will feature old style character with trim, layout, ceiling height, etc! It can be done!! I will say, very FEW people in my real life understand why we’d do that and I’ve even been called names over our choice 🤷🏼♀️
@rachelclare1398 that’s so exciting! I love that others are doing it too! It’s hard to describe ours because I’m like 3 styles wrapped into a person but it is similar to this house that Lisa has been in for the last few years. But with more of a southern twist. Closed concept, two story white farmhouse. We eventually will have a two story double porch, partly wrap around and I love classic southern style mixed with country touches. I’m so excited I could burst 😂
At the beginning of this video, I was trying not to be sad about this news, because of course, it's your home, you can do whatever you'd like with it! But after watching the whole video I am very interested to see what you do with the new house in town, and with the original build! So much exciting stuff coming down the pike... :) Good luck with everything!
What happy news! I remember when Paige from Farmhouse Vernacular talked about an architect who drew up building plans for new old houses. I remember thinking what a great idea that was for people who loved old houses. ❤
Hi Lisa. Darlene here from Souper at 60🤗. I’m so excited for you and your sweet family. My husband and I were on a two year journey to buy a new home with property. We finally found our dream home and sold our old house this past weekend. I’ll be taking my sweet subscribers on a similar journey. So happy for you and excited to watch. Lord bless, Darlene
So excited for you. Can't wait to watch it all come to fruition. I feel excited just watching this video and look forward to what you do. You're in my thoughts and prayers 🙏
Oh Lisa, I'm so excited for you and your family! I can tell you that having our 7 children grow up on our homestead has been the biggest blessing. Having room to roam and the freedom to use your property in the way you choose is becoming more rare nowadays. I'm looking forward to seeing the new build and the transition house! 💕🥰💕🥰
Congratulations!!So glad y'all found the land you have wanted to make a new home. Excited to watch the move and updates with the new place. Thank you for your sour dough recipes I have two loaves cooling on my counter right now. Everyone moves from time to time. We are living in home when we bought we considered a temporary home until we can build on our 10 acres.
I feel like anytime you leave a place with memories for something different and new, there are some bitter and some sweet feelings. I’m excited for your family and can’t wait to watch your journey!!
Hi, thanks for sharing this part of your life. I can't wait to see what's ahead and see your new property metamorph into something beautifully old brand new. Congratulations on your endeavors.
Wow, that comes unexpected… But it’s great you found an even better place to live! And I never watched your channel for the building you live in. It’s what you do in there that makes it worth watching for me. But, as to building a new house like an old one: That’s exactly what my husband’s parents did. The house (in which my family lives now) was built in 1980 but is built exactly like a small German country house would have been built around 1840-1850. (not really farmhouse as there are no agricultural features, more cottage-like). So it’s a half timbered house with mud-and-straw walls, wooden floor and heating stoves. We love it! The advantage of it being new is that the walls are straight and there are no mysterious smells etc..
Lisa! We just did the same thing, bought a rental/investment property, bought land (with a creek 🥰) and moved in to the rental while my husband built our home out on the land. We just moved in to our new home a few months ago and it has been the biggest blessing. It is SO much hard work, but so worth it. I know your family will be up for the challenge! Blessings on your new endeavors 🤍
Oh Lisa, you have no idea how amazing God's timing is. My family is in the process of moving out of our home of over 17 years, and it is absolutely wrecking me. I know that The Lord has been in our decision and making things happen that are absolutely, undoubtedly His sovereignty. But we are leaving the house that my husband and I started I life together in; the house where I brought my babies home. We have loved and lost, shared tremendous joy and unbelievable sorrow in this place. And it is HARD. But, as odd as this may sound, seeing that other people (especially those who also love the Lord and have kids) are also going through a moving process and leaving homes behind that they love is inexpressibly comforting. Thank you for sharing this current season of life - it has been so good for my soul. If you have any moving tips and tricks, please consider sharing those in an upcoming video!
Be encouraged! We packed up and left our Blue State home of 46 years and moved to the Red center of the country. We treasure the memories of our old place, but have loved the adventure of finding and fixing up our new place. God bless you.
I am a mother of 3 soon to be 4 (baby is due Christmas Day) and the Lord just sold our house last month. We are now house shopping and there has been so many emotions. Lots of tears as we are going to miss the memories here. This was my husband’s and my first home together and we brought all of our babies home here. But the Lord knows best and He has an amazing plan ahead for our family. We are excited for the next chapter! We move about 3 - 4 weeks after baby is born! Our desire has always been to live closer to our church family , to have more land and have animals and so we will see what the Lord has in store for us.
You work very hard and you deserve this move. Your very talented and successful in this TH-cam station you deserve it and your family does too. Congratulations!
This is SO exciting. My hope is that we have more people who can build new homes the old way, pre 1940s. Jill Winger had this gentleman named Brent on it who does just that. Well crafted, full of character homes!
Oh, you can absolutely make a new build "old". I've seen many TH-cam videos where new homes are made to their own taste. Even with primitive decor. And they're absolutely beautiful homes. Congratulations, and what fun is ahead for your family. 🤗🤗
This is what makes me sad. I’m not against what she is doing but it will affect some viewers because everyone is making new homes look old. Hers was just real and diamond in the rough and I loved it. Now it will be like so many other TH-camrs and their homes and it won’t feel the same but I’m sure there will still be many great videos and reviews she will share I just won’t feel the same about the home. Change can be good. I’ll be sad to see them move but I hope they have a wonderful life and I’ll still watch.
Loving still since Boone your living testimony Lisa, It is His Glory, no doubt. Been so long since I've commented... Your family's Trust in Him... by faith, the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen... congrats, continued Favor from Heaven through your faith on earth. Have fun, exciting times and adventures👐🤍👐 Bless you each🤎
You are so right about not knowing. I'm glad of that. I was married and had 5 acres and farmhouse with chickens and goats, did everything naturally. Grew our own food, had 5 gardens, herb and medicinal gardens, canned , fermented, ect..one day I came home from my part time job, and found that "dear john" letter. Lots change.
@@kristinccha I'm making it. Was in shock that he did things that way, but him leaving was honestly a blessing in disguise. I miss my farm and animals so much though. Had to sell cause I couldn't do it all myself. Moved to town again and don't like it, can't stand being so close to other houses and neighbors arnt the greatest. It is what is is. Only good thing is I'm closer to my church family now, they have been the best!
@@countrygalinthecity that is so much you have gone through! Your farmhouse sounds like it was wonderful! I'm so glad you have a supportive church family! They are the best
You increased your bar of respect for me. Not only I love the way you show your life is but honoring the historic/early/primitve way of living is another level. On top of that, you want to build a house keeping the historic traditional 1800 way of building home is just wow. I hope you one day share your resources of inspiration about that too and share your journey of home building the way you are visioning would be so so awesome. Sending you all the supportive vibes!!
Lady, you never have to justify your family decisions to a bunch of strangers online. Do what you got to do, and decisions ultimately come down to what you and your husband decide. We don’t get a vote and we don’t get to disapprove of your decisions.
👏🏽 amen!
Preach girl 🙌🏻
Exactly.
I don't think she is asking for anyone's permission 🤔... She's got her own sentiments.
She isn’t justifying, she is just speaking about her plans.
Can I just say I appreciate that you never do clickbait titles, Lisa! I knew this was what you were actually going to say in the video when I clicked on it. So refreshing. Congrats to you guys and excited for all that is to come!! 😍
THIS.
I've never connected your channel with your home. Don't sell yourself short. It's so much more. I see your channel as ideals and encouragements for being a keeper at home and godly living and loving your family. Exiting news. Looking forward to what you will do with it all!
Thank you so much! I really appreciate that.
Completely agree! You said this well! ❤
💯 fact!! 🫶🏽
🥳🥳🥳Congratulations from Norway! What an adventure🙌🙌Good luck with the next chapter of your family’s life ! How exiting!
I agree.
No house here on earth is my "forever home".
For the bros: They bought property, more land, with a creek, and they're building a new house because after looking for years, they couldn't find something within their budget that had all the things they wanted. The end. You're welcome.😂
Not a bro, but was looking for this comment. 😅 thanks!
@@jl8805 Does she mention where?

Thank you! Now I don't have to watch the long video.
@@SO-by9ne Not that I recall.
Bless you for the service you give to these young girls.
That is so sweet of you to have those little girls over and be an inspiration to them!
How wonderful! Thanks for watching and sharing with them too...tell them hello from me!
So kind! I am sure Grandpa enjoys the break from parenting and is glad to have the extra love for his girls.
You’re very sweet and special to spend quality time with children who have lost so much. May God richly bless you!
A NEW old house. Brilliant idea! This will be exciting!
Congratulations on your new chapter on life. Home is where your heart and family are. Looking forward to future updates. Very happy for you all.
Can’t imagine negative feedback because you move, sad for them really. Congratulations, can’t wait to see what is coming next.
Congratulations on your new home and your new land!! So excited 😊

I’m with you. I stumbled on a house near me that was a new build, but built to look like an actual old farmhouse. It was the first time I was tricked and couldn’t tell if it were new or old.
Blessings

Beautifully said, and so true
Amen!!!!!
I admit I'm a bit sad to see this place go, but I am SO MUCH MORE excited to see what you do with the next place(s)!
Old or new, it’s a house but the family inside makes it a home ❤
I have no doubt you will make it a beautiful old farmhouse !!!
I’m so happy for you !!!
Absolutely! Old homes--though wonderful--can be exhausting
I love your old house, but I know you are gonna make this new future home even better. You have been not only an inspiration but a teacher as well.
OG subscriber and I'm so happy for you! You helped me find contentment in my 1910 farmhouse and a simpler way of life. I'm so grateful and have so much joy caring for it!
Right 😊
Congrats on the new season. Praying that the Lord blessed your family in the transition. I think it's strange when people say "forever home" about temporary things. Forever Home is once we are in the Kingdom...I long for the day when I get to be Home in Heaven. I think it's good to live in full awareness that all of this on earth is temporary.
You bring a good mix of sentimental with practical, and a good reminder of keeping open hands to what God has for us.
Which state are you in?
Congratulations!!! I look forward to following your new old home journey.
I'm so glad you've enjoyed watching our family grow!
Petina a will come along quickly with a big family like hers. ❤
@@katrinabaker3857
That's wear and tear.
Patina comes with time.⏳️👍🏻
Oh Lisa, I can't wait to see what you can do!! My parents moved from a 1720 house to a new house, my mom was able to make it so cozy and beautiful. It was quite a change from 1720 but no more plumbing and electrical problems!! I'm happy for you and I know you house will be beautiful and you will make it "you".
The next owners will be so lucky to get this home and land that you’ve improved so much! ❤
YES. First thing I thought was, wish I could buy it!
Congratulations! I commented two babies ago, your family outgrew the farmhouse. Excited for the new content.
I am 81 and I also have one more move…..to my eternal heavenly home…..and I’m looking forward to that.
I'm sure with your vision everything will work out beautifully and we'll go on this adventure with you. Cheers!
This is so exciting for you and your family! Can't wait to see all of the changes and progress. Congratulations!
What great news. I am a long time follower and loved how you and family transitioned into this home. Cannot wait to follow you to the new home. A lot of love was poured into your home now, I can imagine the tug at the heart in letting it go. New memories await❤❤
Been around since Boone and I'm excited to watch this unfold ! God makes all things beautiful in His time. Praying for you!
Yay! So so happy for you! I always loved all our moves! Each one was always a step up..
Congratulations on your land purchase!
You are, who you are…that’s why we watch you!! No worries for changes coming!! Cool!! PLEASE share with us the town home and the new home build also!! HOW EXCITING!!
If you are excited, I am excited for you! I can't wait to see all you share!
Your new home will an old house for someone someday, probably your children 💓
Me too, will miss seeing this home. I fell in love with it. I also want an old home with some land. Can’t wait to see your new old home 🙂
I’m happy you are moving because it means new decorations and plans. I loved both of your previous houses even though it is not my still but I enjoy watching you making the new house your new family home. Cannot wait to watch this new chapter! 😊
Thank you!!
Wow, how exciting!!! Can't wait to hear all the updates and see all the tours.
Amazing!
What state are you in?
I'm so excited for you! I met you this summer in ID and you talked about this land and the struggle with moving the kids etc. It's never a perfect time and sometimes you just have to make the leap or you never will! I can't wait to follow along as you do this remodel and new build!
Attachment breeds unhappiness. Flexibility without expectations is a good thing. Best wishes for a smooth transformation.
Yes, we do have many seasons in life. May your next season be filled with many Blessings. 🙏🏡❤️
Same here, same age! Enjoy your retirement in your homestead. We are 7 yrs. in and love it.
We are building a new old home too! Its a small new england cape. What be style is yours?
Congratulations!!! Looking forward to seeing your new project!❤️
What happy news! I remember when Paige from Farmhouse Vernacular talked about an architect who drew up building plans for new old houses. I remember thinking what a great idea that was for people who loved old houses. ❤
I still miss Paige so much and pray for her regularly.
Thank you so much!Good luck with your new journey too.
With you on The Journey Lisa you'll take 'wonderful you all' with you! We'll still be here!
Life is always changing! We make our plans, but the Lord directs our steps!
Brent hull! His videos are so good!
@ YES!!!!
I am happy for you. I also can’t wait to go along with you in all the upcoming ideas and projects.
Have fun!
Oh, you can absolutely make a new build "old". I've seen many TH-cam videos where new homes are made to their own taste. Even with primitive decor. And they're absolutely beautiful homes. Congratulations, and what fun is ahead for your family. 🤗🤗
Kind of reminds me of the "Ballerina Farm" home!
Can’t build a new old home. It would be financially impossible.
I am so excited to watch the journey of building, designing and moving to a new house on beautiful property! Congratulations!😃🤍🍂
Whatever you create will be beautiful.
I hope you're doing ok
@@kristinccha I'm making it. Was in shock that he did things that way, but him leaving was honestly a blessing in disguise. I miss my farm and animals so much though. Had to sell cause I couldn't do it all myself. Moved to town again and don't like it, can't stand being so close to other houses and neighbors arnt the greatest. It is what is is. Only good thing is I'm closer to my church family now, they have been the best!
@@countrygalinthecity that is so much you have gone through! Your farmhouse sounds like it was wonderful! I'm so glad you have a supportive church family! They are the best
Fabulous news ! Can't wait to see the new house and the new property and plans for the new build. I know you'll back everything
beautiful. Cheers 😍
I will be sharing the process!
Congratulations! I look forward to following you throughout this journey!
