  • In today's video we break down an adjusted closed stance movement into the back left by Fares Dessouky. We discuss both tactics and technique!
    By the end of the video you will understand why you sometimes get beat on straight drives, how to adjust if you move too early on a drive, and a lot more!
    If you want to learn how to move like the pro and go through a thorough, highly effective fitness training program that will get you closer to that goal, I have you covered!
    It's currently under development, so in the meantime, you can sign up to be notified of its release here (please copy and paste the link):

    I'll keep the videos coming! Enjoy!

    Love this content! One thing I would love to see is the full speed clip at least once before getting in to start/stop analysis, but otherwise great stuff!

    Just came across your videos today. I am just beginning my coaching career and still plenty of my own squash development to do. Love the 2 videos I've seen so far and I will be sharing these with a couple of my clients. I would like to be able to do the same type of video analysis but not too hot with IT. Could you share with me what software you use to be able to stop / start / change speed / rewind etc and also draw lines and also have yourself in it talking live as you do this? Now going to settle down and watch some more !

    • @ARProformance

      Thanks Mike. I'm glad that you found the page and are enjoying the videos. Which others did you find value in?
      When it comes to software and video creation - it's definitely a process. I record separately via the webcam and record my screen. Unfortunately the software I use doesn't do the highest quality real time screen capture. I need to update software actually, haha. I'm currently using one called Camtasia.
      Hope this helps,
      Ahad

    If I keep my finger higher, I just have mark difference in control the ball, plus more meticulous as well

    • @ARProformance
      @ARProformance  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Absolutely! Some spacing between the fingers helps with ball control. Keep it up,

    Your T-zone box is very high on the top. It’s terrifying to be that high unless you’re following a boast.

    • @ARProformance
      @ARProformance  ปีที่แล้ว

      You nailed it. Our T position depends on where our opponent is hitting from, the degree of pressure they're under, and the choices they possess. Thanks for sharing 👊🏼

    The term you’re looking for is the T-zone

    • @ARProformance
      @ARProformance  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you. It's great to see so many different terms / phrases for common concepts. I hope that you're enjoying the videos!

    • @us-Bahn
      @us-Bahn 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If memory serves this is the how David Pearson refers to the area you are describing to avoid the misunderstanding of recovering exactly on the T.

    • @ARProformance
      @ARProformance  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for sharing! I've heard floating T and several other phrases. It's a good reminder of our creativity and different ways of communicating the same concept. One more term added to the repertoire 🙏🏼

    If you want it shorter, use editing. And get a better microphone!!!!

    • @ARProformance

      Interestingly the mic I'm using is a blue yeti! I'm not recording separate audio tracks and editing them. Truthfully I don't have the time for that given my mentoring and business building efforts. Hopefully if this channel grows, or I set up a way to generate funding, I can get someone to help me improve some of the things you mentioned 👍🏼

      @@ARProformance Your product is fantastic. You should maybe have separate videos for separate technics.
