As someone who has had a tooth ripped out of my mouth with no anesthesia and no warning by an orthodontist this is just outrageous. How could someone hurt a little kid like that?

Literally the lady wiggled my tooth then yanked it out without telling me(She was looking at my teeth so I wasn't under anesthesia). There was a snapping sound and now I am at a new dentist office. I was about 6-8 years old.

There was a similar dentist in the area where I grew up. I never went to him, but my mom did when I was little. She was supposed to have a tooth extraction done. He went into the office and numbed her, then left for two hours. He came back and gave her another shot since the previous one wore out, but two seconds later said he was in a hurry and couldn’t wait. He got pliers and actually started to pull the tooth out. He even got into the chair with my mother with his knees on each side of her just pulling and yanking. My Mawmaw who was waiting in the the waiting room said you could hear her scream bloody murder. He got the tooth out, but now my mom has permanent jaw issues, all because he decided two spend two hours on a phone with a friends and decided that he wanted to golf immediately after working in my mom. I absolutely despise dentists like this.

I had a tooth pulled with anesthesia and it was the most painful thing I’ve ever felt in my life. I can only imagine what those kids were feeling getting multiple teeth pulled at once.

If it was painful then you did not have anesthesia. If local anesthesia was unsuccessful then you could have felt pain. Anesthesia would let you feel pressure but not pain. Those kids were likely quite numb and primary teeth generally pop out quite easily.
@@cvn6555 about a month ago, i got my last milk tooth extracted (i'm 13). when i went into the office, the kind female dentist offered me 2 choices, either getting anesthesia injected into my tooth, or just anesthesia gel brushed around only. i thinked about it for a while, and i finally chose to get anesthesia injected into my tooth. the dentist was so nice, she even calmed me down when she showed me the needle, i wasn't screaming but my whole soul is shaking. when she injected the needle into my mouth, i can feel the tip of the needle touching the root of my tooth, the pain was harsh. but after a few moments, that painful feeling was gone, and she pulled out my tooth easily. we even haved some talking with her. my left lip is pretty numb but it lasted only for an hour.
Maybe the Dentist lied to you. Maybe they ran out of anaesthesia. But by making you think you were injected with anaesthesia..they thought Placebo effect on you.

It is cheap, available from dozens of suppliers and there has only been a short unavailability on the one type in the last dozen years. Most providers will have about a six-month supply on hand. The most likely scenario is not lack of local or relying on a placebo effect (which is insane to suggest because the placebo effect is a central things not a peripheral nerve thing) is that the person here had an abscess- remember he needed the tooth extracted- and that the low pH of the abscess prevented the local from working properly.

I think she was trying to get evidence so the authority can arrest him. She must have been devastated while she was doing it but had no choice or else no one would believe this. You can't exactly blame the mother fully
