    Thanks for the super helpful video! I have a question for you. I recorded a 5 gigabyte video on the internal storage and every time i try and download it to my computer to transfer the file the battery runs on the drone. Do you know of any way i can transfer that file without turning on the drone or maybe transfer the stored video onto the sd card from the internal storage? Thanks in advance!!!

    Hi. i am sure my mavic air 2 is too fast in tripod mode. Do you agree that the drone does not go at a crawl speed in that mode. I find it harder to capture cinematic shots. Do you know of a setting that brings the speed down, or will it be a firmware update issue. I noticed this on my first flight out the box, and the issue remains to this day. Thanks.

    Hi bro. Listen.. I decided to get a mavic air 2 and it's due to arrive any day now. The thing is, for some reason I'm ridiculously anxious. The only drone I've owned before is a Ryze Tello. Will flying air 2 be much of a problem? As I've learned watching so many vids about it and practically all vouch for it's easy-to-fly/beginner friendly characteristics. Should I be concerned anyway..? Thanks for your time and help. Keep up the good work.

      Its super easy.
      Just keep it close for a while. Practice everything close including return to home.
      Don't let it get out too far until you feel confident.
      Don't use sport mode until you feel confident. Don't fly low to the ground or around any objects until you feel confident.

  • @malp6280
    @malp6280 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    erm, I think it needs to be pointed out!
    theirs 3ft in 1 meter ..... setting the RTH to over 300+ ft is OTT, also you need to be aware that hills, homes, towers etc need to be checked upon as a drone would usually crash into one OR could get lost & then crash when using RTH...
    also for a 1st flight using a wide open space is excellent, however also setting the max distance & height to a low limit also adds a safe guard for new owner/flyers. along with using the tripod mode & normal mode prior to sport mode, as in sport mode theirs NO obstacle avoidance & braking distances are huge (easy 5-10 meters safely)

    • @malp6280
      @malp6280 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Rich Martin yes 300ft is incredibly high... as he was demonstrating in a wide-open space, with low level trees & pylons with a height of 45-50ft would suit, 300ft is excessive. any op could simply fly straight up & see the heights of local obstacles & set the RTH to a more suitable level.
      for new operators using basic common sense & knowledge is best used & applied, excessively flying high could cause further issues for anyone aka higher winds, aircraft etc
      As for 3ft in a meter, yes their are 3ft in a meter.. if I need to google search an exact measurement then yes, ok however I've more knowledge that that kid...
      having a RTH set to just over 90meters high "its a tad excessive" .. OR maybe you could google what's standing 90+ meters up within the state the upload was created in...

    What is the difference between Motorized Gimbal and Mechanical Gimbal, the Pro 2x times the cost has Mechanical and 1/2 the FPS as this Drone you have here.

    • @brettgaramella
      @brettgaramella  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I think you meant electronic vs rolling shutter... The electronic shutter gives you a rolling shutter look, which can basically degrade your video. This rarely happens with a mechanical shutter. A mechanical shutter can physically stop working and need to be replaced, but that's usually after years and years of use. An electronic shutter doesn't break because there are no moving parts.

    • @Dudleydogg
      @Dudleydogg 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@brettgaramella I was referring to the 2-Axis Gimble the $799 Drone is Motorized and the $1500 Drone is Mechanical Gimbal I thought the Gimble is what moves the camera around. Looking at the spec's the Mavic you have in this video comparing to the PRO model

My advice is videos are much nicer when you actually record them. Haha, has anyone else ever done this?
