SUPER STABLE AND EASY BUTTERCREAM | For Beginners

  • Hi Bakers! This Buttercream is Super stable and stabilize in hot/humid weather. It's whiter than usual yellowish buttercream. It is creamy and pipepable. Best in covering cakes, piping cupcakes using different nozzle and tips. It will hold its shape💯
    Disclaimer: The Baker is based in UAE so it's proven and tested. Comment down below if in doubt or any clarifications.
    Here's the full list of Ingredients below:
    1/2 cup Vegetable Shortening
    1/2 cup Unsalted Butter (the lighter one, the better)
    1 tbsp Cold Milk
    1 tsp Clear Vanilla (for whiter result)
    3 cups Icing Sugar
    Pinch of salt
    You can add gel food coloring after beating or when mixing in small bowls.
    You can also add white gel color to add more white.
    Double the ingredients to cover 8"x 3 cake
    Baking Tools Used:
    Electric Handmixer
    Stainless Steel Mixing bowl
    Rubber Scraper / Spatula
    Spoon
    Strainer / Flour Sifter
    Butter Knife or any small Knife
    Measuring Cup
    Measuring Spoons
    Clear Piping Bag
    Scissor

      Hello dear. Pro tip: Always stick to the ingredients measure. if you want 2 cups, then put 1 1/2 tsp of milk and 1/2 tsp clear vanilla.

    I see that this video was made in January. Though it was pretty rough around the edges I am sure that your skill would greatly improve over time. I enjoyed your video and feel that you would teach very well. Did you find that you did not like making videos or do you eventually plan to make more? I feel like you sort of reached out and gathered up a group of excited followers and then totally dropped them and really let them down. I am wondering what the purpose of this was?

      Hi dear. I appreciate your compliment. Thank you. The purpose of this video is solely to help beginners in making buttecream. I've struggled when I started but this one really help me all of my cakes. Unfortunately, I just borrowed the camera to make this video to start the tutorial and there was more to that I believe but it was deleted so I need to start over and I'm quite busy for my full time job so maybe next time I'll upload some. I have posted the same video in fb groups where some do not have access to TH-cam.

      Hello dear. Lard is from animal product while shortening is made of vegetable oil. If you want to eliminate animal fats from your diet, avoid lard.

      Icing sugar is not made. It is called powdered sugar or confectioner's sugar in the U.S. Bt it is just a finer sweeter type of sugar used in baking.

    Shortening usually have such a nasty taste kinda bitter, thick and greasy. You have to be careful how you're using it. But it really does help stabilize buttercream and smoothen the texture of it. If you know a way to get rid of the taste you'll have the perfect buttercream.

      It's a perfect combination with butter💯 just a little amount to stabilize the buttercream. Tried butter-butter and butter-condensed buttercream but it's more greasy and buttery

      @@raquelh.9986 you're so right, i use shortening but not much because of the taste.. where i live it's very hot so i have no choice..lol. but i beat it really good before adding the rest of ingredients and it works fine..
