What if there are some AP scores that I don’t want to submit? Do I still put that I took the test on whatever date but just not put my score or do I not include that AP exam at all?
You can just leave them off the common app! I didn’t want to report my AP Seminar score, so I just didn’t include it in the list altogether. Hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions! :)
Okay so when listing activities i’m confused on how you would list them, for example.. I play alto saxophone and am in multiple ensembles with it and have different chairs/leadership positions per ensemble i’m in. Then I also play oboe and i’m in a couple ensembles with it and have different positions/chairs in each one. Also besides that i’m also doing a summer band camp and would that be listed separately? I would appreciate if you could help me understand how I would list these thank you!
Patrick Cannon Hi Patrick! I was in a similar position when listing volleyball as an activity. I put it as one category and did something like this: “Co-Captain, School Varsity Volleyball; National Club Teams” and in the description, I did bullet points and left a space in the middle to indicated that the first couple bullet points were for school volleyball and the last couple were for national club volleyball. If it is extremely significant, then feel free to put it separately if there is something extra it adds to your application that is different from your other band activities. A few schools I want to focus on my sports and others more on academics. So if I taylor my activities towards sports and submit to one college, can I go back in and change it around, then submit it to others? Or if you change anything. will they send updates to the schools you sent to in the past? No one seems to know the answer to this question so I am hoping you do! Thanks again.

All schools have different deadlines for applying, and I am taking the SAT in October, November and December, but one schools deadline is in November. No one seems to know how this works...do you? Thanks so much!
Glad you find them helpful! You submit each application individually, and when you fill out your info for the application, it will tell you the due date. Most school’s regular decision are due around New Years, and early action/decision is due Nov 1st. Hope this helps!

For the personal essay do we space our paragraphs in the text box because in the preview it automatically double spaces the paragraphs. It creates a weird gap between each paragraph?

You don't need to, but if they ask you to do that after you apply, you need to show them (I don't think this can happen)

I used the preview button the fix the formatting! So I got rid of the weird gaps because I thought it looked weird haha :)
