OUR FIRST TIME TOWING ON THE BEACH | LIGHTHOUSES, LAGOONS, COLOURED SANDS & BLUEBOTTLES? - Ep 35

This week we head to one of the best absolute beachfront campsites in Queensland, TEEWAH BEACH. After returning to Brisbane to complete some warranty work on the caravan we take the opportunity to visit this amazing place before heading back over the border into NSW to continue our BIG LAP of Australia.
This is our first time ever towing the caravan on a beach and to say we’re a little bit apprehensive is an understatement, but nevertheless, we managed to get the van onto the beach and all our fears of getting bogged seem like a distant memory as we put the road behind us and the beach ahead of us.
Teewah Beach is National Park camping and is located just north of Noosa on Queenslands Sunshine Coast. For us, this has to be one of the best beachfront camping sites anywhere in Queensland. We head up the beach to camp zone four and set up on the sand dunes to start out a beautiful week right on the beach.
During our stay, we visit DOUBLE ISLAND POINT, a surfing hotspot and climb to the lighthouse to show you some spectacular views of the FRASER & COOLOOLA coasts. We then take you on a drive along Teewah Beach, we visit the FAMOUS lagoon and checkout Rainbow Beach.
We take a drive along the beautiful freshwater track where we encounter a very big goanna and admire the ever changing scenery including an amazing rainforest.
