We’ve just stumbled across this video and have to say it is probably the best of the vids on favourite campsites. Looking forward to seeing the van finished!
Notch Point was a fantastic camp. We camped up the northern end close to the sandy turnaround. We saw quite a few get bogged in the small loop while they tried to turn around. We had a full beach front camp with the awning tied off to the timber bollards. 😊
Hi guys great episode can you please show more camps in wa and dog friendly this would be so handy as my wife and I start our wa trip in January thanks again for your info.😊
Hey Heath, so glad you enjoyed it. We have a WA playlist that has all our video from WA, all videos except for the ones filmed in 2023 we had the dogs with us. But most of the 2023 places were dog friendly except for the national parks and 80mile beach I think Western Australia - Caravanning Australia th-cam.com/play/PLcrvFQM9SlYH5xnDlOAF83o8QVeULU0pY.html
Thanks for the camp spots. We stayed at Point Gibbon a few weeks ago and other then the wind it was a great spot, that we are planing to go back to with out BT next time, had some wiring issues in the RAM last time that meant there was no power getting to the caravan
@@Livin_Like_Kings_ yes we have identified the issue, just waiting for a replacement control module, which will hopefully fix it. The joys of owning a converted truck.
A great video. Must have been difficult picking only a handful of places as there are just too many fantastic places to camp out there. Notch Point is an interesting one, even when we were there many years ago we could see it was being loved to death, too many people doing the wrong thing and dumping rubbish and not being self contained. Good to see old footage with F&B controlling your travels 😂. Have fun with the shave, call on by if you pass this way 👍
Thanks😁 Yes unfortunately we have seen beautiful spots being “loved to death” by disrespectful grubs that ruin these places for everyone else! To the point we were worried about doing a video like this but figured people will display that behaviour despite our videos. We’d love to drop by if we can! We’ll be in touch closer to the date!😁👍
Hey Guys, loved this episode. I notice you hsd the directional antenna in south Lefroy did you find it helped up the west coast as we are heading that way and thinking of getting it. We dont want star link atm due to costs. You feedback appreciated 😊 Cheers
The memo antenna does help but is not a viable solution for places like South Lefroy where there are no towers within range for the antenna to boost signal. It still picked up a minimal signal at that time.

Yeah the wind in SA and WA can be a killer. Hope the wiring is all sorted out now.

Do you have problems with finding dump points across the country
No! There’s plenty of apps like WikiCamps that help find dump points near you

Whats ya Height Clearance with that boat and trailer on ya rig?
I think we’re about 3.3m with the boat on
@Livin_Like_Kings_ won't be goin into too many underground carparks with that, ;-)
Definitely not, couldn’t get into them with the 200 series either
