it's cheap due to the sodium ion batteries instead of lithium ion. From what I understand BYD is the first company to make a sodium ion battery powered car even though CATL is moving in on doing the same.
Looks fairly cheap and basic... EXACTLY what we need in the UK! only problem i can see is that the price will end up being 3 times its sale price in China
Looks nice, unbeatable price.... The USA EPA EV range cycle will chop the range to 200 miles for the big battery version. The Asian rangr test cycle is very optimistic.
I hope that the models being shipped outside of China are subject to different safety standards than the ones currently followed in China. There are a lots of reports that by trying to bring prices down, chinese manufacturers cut lots of corners which in the end make these car not that safe to drive

Yeah we see that china cars are not so interesting in Europe unfortunatly for us... this car will be at the same price as the futur WW ID1 I think.
