@@aokiandanais IKR They grow up so fast! I also am looking forward to having less time to myself, hopefully he/she don't get sick of me too soon. I have 5 for boys and 5 for girls and I'm unsure, but I have a feeling this doggo will never know their real name as I'll be calling them anything but lol. My family has a bad habit of that. ^_^;
Hey just found ur channel and have been watching your videos for hours, we are getting a shiba in 2 months been waiting almost a year for him. Im very excited but also nervous, your videos are very helpful and informative. Wish there was a way to contact u for help when puppy finally arrives because I’ll have so many questions. We used to have a german shepherd but he passed away 2 years ago, I feel like I’ve forgotten so much since then about puppy training and essentials, going to try my absolute best for puppy but I’m sure I’ll make mistakes. I’ll definitely be keeping up with your videos for helpful information you’re doing a wonderful job with Aoki and I hope to do the same. keep up the amazing content!!

How affectionate is Aoki? I'm thinking about getting a shiba, but not sure about it if they don't really show affection.. curious to know! I love your channel btw!!
I know this video is older but for people watching it later on like I am Do NOT use furminators on double coated breeds like Shiba Inus! They are extremely damaging to the coat if you're not careful! The reason is because furminators are bladed and instead of pulling the loose hair out it tends to cut the hair instead! It's a huge mistake that a lot of people make, including me a few years ago!
Thanks for pointing that out! Agreed here - I stopped using the furminator about a year ago and one of the best decision honestly 🙏 for anyone looking for a great brush, Dandylion just realease a new brush and it is great!!!
