I finally got time to do a review as I have been out of pocket for about a week or so.
1 - As always great DIY fix.
2 - Never throw away leftover parts, new or used.
3 - A DIY fix with a DIY fix needs a plan B, a spare.
I will add this to my "Kevin's How To" videos.
I sometimes pay "the stupid tax" to. Great video and a great job on explaining everything.
Great fix to an unfortunate break, and great deal on the base, you have a knack for work arounds Kevin, I have the same toilet, so I am sure I will be coming back here to see how to replace components.
Kevin Rocks! He can fix anything! 😊
Your way to kind.
Another very informative video! a few years ago we noticed that the floor would be wet around the toilet after using it. We decided just to replace it, but evidently what was happening with ours was the water was leaking when the valve was opened just like yours was in the video. At least I know now what was wrong with ours, but dont regret buying a new one.
Thank you for contributing Paul
Yep. All of that is always the case. Things go sideways when you are trying to do some good. 😊 Thanks Kevin always informative.. cheers. JB
Thanks Kevin! Always a joy to watch your videos.
Thank you Rob
We are having this exact problem. The ball is staying cracked open . Thanks for another great video

Oh wow Kevin! Stupid tax got you! I have been there many a time! Another good how-to! Thank you!
Now I know how, thanks!
Unfortunately, on mine the pedal cover is held on with screws instead of clips, and the toilet bowl is in the way. Dumb design. Right angle screwdriver might work, but you think I have one of those at the campground? Guess we'll live with a leaky water valve until we get home. Thanks for the video though. Will be useful when the time comes.
Kevin at about 19:00 it looked like a saw the black pc moving a little when you were checking it🤷
Good eye but this is normal. For its only held with 1 Phillips screw, But at the 20 minute mark you will see I added the 2 main mounting screws locking all parts in place.
Question on a different issue. Our 2005 workhorse chassis both slides have stopped working. They are not getting 12v it seems. Are there relays or fuse somewhere?
give me a call 606-875-0125
Kevin,
As mentioned it’s uncanny I’m having that exact issue at the time of your video.
I have an unrelated issue with my workhorse. The four way flashers burn out when connected to a tow vehicle. I had to replace the blinker switch twice . Now I don’t use them .
Any thoughts?
Try upgrading the rear lights to led to remove some of the load off the flasher? see this video th-cam.com/video/52MVbY1cy3k/w-d-xo.htmlsi=wHeAwOFANczo-WTj
