Yes! Someone else on the same journey I've been on. So tired of the high protein worship going on and unfortunately for me, i ended up damaging my liver/bile duct area with those diets so i focus on a whole food plant based diet. I was afraid of the same things and now eating WHOLE, REAL FOODS i reversed a lot of issues. I had a lot of menopause issues that are greatly reduced and finally losing the weight and keeping it off by eating those foods. I'm trying to get people to inderstand even though the human body is resilient, you can still hurt it by stressing it with heavy amounts of the foods on paleo style diets and you need fiber, you need fresh plants with all the amazing benefits you can't get elsewhere. I have small amounts of olive oil so I'm not afraid of fat and i have higher fat plants like soy but eating fatty meats will never be possible again and I'm ok with that since i eat a nutrient dense diet and taking a B12 is alright.
I'm tired of the back and forth between adherents of the various super restrictive diets. Plant based vs carnivore, keto, paleo, etc. I cut out refined sugar, high fructose corn syrup, artificial sweeteners, white flour, vegetable/seed oils, and ultra processed foods. Replaced them with whole vegetables, fruits, meats that are not ultra processed, beans and legumes, nuts and seeds, some dairy, and occasionally whole grains. Focus is on the foods with the most anti-inflammatory properties and rich in antioxidants. I also use green tea, turmeric, ginger, and other valuable spices. I have been following this for more than a year and a half, lost 50 pounds, and am doing so much better. Fewer arthritis inflammation flare-ups. But fruit on the bottom yogurt is just yogurt with sugary jam on the bottom. The yogurt is fine, but not the sugary jam. Better to buy plain yogurt and add vanilla, stevia, monkfruit, etc, and fresh or frozen fruit.
I have had a lot of issues with food sensitivities. Major issue then recently diagnoses with stage 3 kidney problems. Dr tells me to eat anything i want and no i din’t need a nutritionist. So that is creating major nutritional deficiencies and i can feel it. I am anxious to hear this just to see if it will help my particular problem. Thank you in advance.
@@DrRuscioDCthis has been my issue. I’ve lost over 20 lbs due to sibo I don’t even know what to eat anymore. I’m not sure what carbs to eat or stay away from.
I know someone that has a twelve year old who eats whatever he wanted since day one . The mom is worse this kid will suffer . They should of introduced different foods I. His life but just gave him what he wanted….sad……. How can I help I am on the outside. Actually nothing I can do he won’t listen at all. He has a serious problem thanks to his educated parents. Let the kid be his own person. Bull. S………….

I have sibo & some foods causes giggling & fermentation
For SIBO it’s definitely important to avoid foods that are prone to ferment - namely certain starches and carbs
