    Since you offered to answer some questions. My only concern is wiring. It intimidates me. Can you show use how you wired the new plug with the harness?

    • @BONDGarage
      @BONDGarage  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      it's just 2 wires if I remember correct. isolation is what concerned me as well but worked out fine.

    Does the fuel level sensor stay in the tank the whole time? I didn't see it make an apperance.

      I believe it does. got me wondering also since I was expecting more like an older setup.

      it did not. got another module from the dealer and coded and after a few weeks it would turn off and not start for almost 2 hours. so now it's at the dealer for the same repair again with proper coding I guess. will make an update when it's done.

    • @toomuchsauce4442

      @@BONDGarage well that’s quite strange . I went and purchased a brand new lpfp and ekpm3 from dealer going to install myself and code . So you bought a used modul . That didn’t work , you bought a new modul and you coded it yourself or the dealer coded it and it cut out after two weeks ?

    • @BONDGarage
      @BONDGarage  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@toomuchsauce4442 got a new module and coded it. apparently there's an issue with my ista since there appears to be a data problem. would try a different software if i had the time. I strongly believe it's the module so it's being replaced/coded again.

    • @toomuchsauce4442

      @@toomuchsauce4442 if you have the tools might as well give it a shot. changing the part itself is super easy. and if the coding doesn't work for whatever reason you can still bring it in later. if there's no problem you'll save $$$

    hi,i have the same problem, with my f10 535 2012 year. i changed and coded 5 or 6 EKP module but problem stay. what me to do? change Lpfl or just try to find better EKP module?

    • @BONDGarage

      pump. if it keeps blowing the pump module it's most likely that the pump has a problem and fries the module. had to put a stock OEM pump after this one got toasted.

    So my tank was pretty full when I did this which I know was not the right way to do this but I didn’t really have a choice. Anyways, when I opened the tank gas spilled all over garage floor. Replaced pump, and now it spills all over floor when running. Did something happen to my tank? Ugh, nevermind, when I was putting everything back together I realized I had lost the little red clip keeping the fuel line attached. No, it will not stay attached without that and now I can’t find the clip. It’s probably in the fuel tank….

      did that a while ago so will not remember everything but I try to mention the tools used when used. same with torque specs. if there are any important ones it'll be for sure in the video. but for the pump that's al pretty standard. just the ones under the rear seat I believe.

      so what I learned is that these modules like to cook themselves. especially when the car is tuned. at a stage 3 I take that your lpfp needs to work a lot harder. Mine is already back out. had a problem and I'm back to stock lpfp. did you find the problem?

    Hi, how are you brother. I have 2011 bmw f10 v6 the problem is fuel supply and the car does not start it just cranking so I replaced the fuel pump control module from Amazon for $50 do I need to code and program it or to replace the fuel pump. Let me know please

    • @BONDGarage
      @BONDGarage  ปีที่แล้ว

      You'll need to code it. As far as I know you only don't have to code it if it's the same model, engine, year (?) since it has the right information on there. that's why I used a used one that is the same model, engine and year as mine. anything new requires coding.
      Also there's no F10 V6 but that's just fyi my man.

    Is it normal for the car to run super rough after I installed a new fuel system. Is it because there is air in the fuel system still?😊

    • @BONDGarage
      @BONDGarage  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      you'll have to prime after opening the fuel system. usually you can only prime the LPFP by turning the ignition on for 10-20s for a like 3 times to make sure your HPFP won't starve. if you open between HPFP and injector, there will be air in the lines but that will be pumped into the cylinder. might run rough for a few seconds until all the air is purged.

    Other videos show people removing the ENTIRE assembly and housing at once - nothing else to disconnect of fiddle with. Is this just the way YOUR model is done? Why couldnt you remove it all at once? Im about to do this is my 328i (e90)
