Yeah, it happens to a bunch of them, but as long as you keep putting Techron or Royal Purple cleaner in the tank that should never become an issue for you, from what I've read in the forums.
You forgot to mention all the 350Z's and Mustangs that rev at you at stop lights or downshift next to you on the interstate...
I wish it was only 350Z's and Mustangs. I walk around those no problem.

Front Radiator supports usually get smashed up when parking perpendicular to a curbed parking space. Hence the reason for the invention of Curb Alert! Cameras front and back help a lot also.
Air intake dam is what usually scrapes speed bumps and inclined driveways!
I don't have any curbed parking spaces I use, nor does this car come with curb alert or cameras. The air dam was destroyed on a pretty insane pothole along with the radiator support.
Nice, have an 08 too. I've had the shift cable break, door actuator stop working and the door handle break.
I did have to replace the outside door handle as well! I totally forgot about that
Harmonic Balancer and Sway Bar End Links, Check torque on rear axle nuts!
I have not ran into those issues, but the rear axle nuts were torqued when I change the wheel bearing. I will look out for those though.

Just bought a 2007 c6 corvette last week! Only had 34000 miles. In emaculate condition. We love it so far. Midlife crisis buy I guess. Lol I know it cliche but YOLO! It's in Lemans Blue. Love the color

Welcome to the corvette club. With the 2007 be sure to budget a little money to get the harmonic balancer replaced if it hasn't been replaced already. Those LS2 cars are fun.
How do I get my car in air?
Hey the harmonic balancer is a known common issue after 60k miles, I have a 2005 and that's the only thing I ever had to get done on my car im at 90k and love the shit out of my car.
Oh, I have not had to go into that, but I will definitely look into it. Is that an LS2 thing or are the LS3's affected as well?
@@ioriOki I believe it's all C6, just turn the car on and look down at it. If it has a little wobble then it's gonna be time to change it. And it is a common issue on the C6. Hey nice ride .you ever come to AZ , I'll Race you. Lol
@@ioriOki it’s mostly ls2 , ls3 engines are less prone to that harmonic balancer failure
How much did that run you? Did you do it yourself?
Another common problem is not being able to shift out of park. Starting to have this problem with my 2008 base model.
Oh I wasn't aware of that as I have a manual. Is that an easy fix?

@@danielfair4675 it’s not the cable. The safety lockout pawl gets stuck if you don’t wait for the solenoid to disengage the lock. I’ve been jammed up a few times. Ended up just cutting the pawl off. Now I can shift from park to any other gear even if the car is off.

I have one question beautiful girl my c6 2012 the doors when I opened all the way they do pop like they hit something is not that bad I just want know if that’s normal on the corvettes or I should worry ? Is only pop when I closing it I don’t know if I explain good like you know have 2 clips on the door to hold it when you opened all the way well when I closing it is make that sound
Hi, I have never experienced that, but maybe lubricating the pivot points will help.

Los Angeles was brutal. I was legit trying to go to Denny's and then BANG! Support Broke.
My fuel gage doesn’t work. I was told that Techron from a gas station will make it work
it depends on how far gone the contacts are. It may help, but eventually you'll have to replace the sending unit.
I have not experience any of this yet. I experience the Harmonic Balancer issue and that's all.
I haven't had the harmonic balancer issue yet. I hope I can continue to avoid it
90% of the LS2 engines have the Harmonic Balancer issue. I only had 18844 miles on my C6 when the chirping bird sound and the wobble of the balancer started. I replaced it with the ATI Super Damper. GM should be ashamed of themselves for putting a rubber and metal piece of crap in America's Ferrari😄.
Ohhhh I have the LS3. LS3 and Manual Transmission was a must for me when I decided to go the corvette route.
@@ioriOki LS3 is a better engine. Very good choice. GM use LS2 for 2005 and 2006 and opted for the LS3 replacement.

Those New Balance Grill Masters do look kind of tight though.
I bought an ebay headlight tint kit and did it myself. It was a cheap fix that covered the nasty headlights and now they look really good.
That’s a good idea, I don’t want to tint mine, but I polished them up pretty good
@@ioriOki Get a light smoke like 35% and they look clean.
Tint looks better than yellow for sure but it's not so great for night driving
