you got it right for 2 out of 3.. 1- i am having my midlife crisis post retirement.... 2 im buying something for pure fun... but im 38. but you are good!!
I really hope this IS a midlife crisis because I just bought one on my birthday last week. I just turned 76. So if this is mid life, then I'm in good shape. Thanks DriveHub. I enjoyed your youthful perspective very much..
My neighbor is 85 years old and drives a 2000 convertible Vette he bought new . He has over 360,000 miles on it and wants to hit 500.000 before he gives up driving . You have a long way to go to catch up to him . Have fun !
OK...the planet is 25,000 miles in circumferance (more or less) Your neighbor is 85 and drove his 2000 Corvette "over" 360,000 miles in 1 year. His mileage is equal to driving around the entire PLANET 14.4 times....right Are you sure he didn't buy a 1970 Plymouth Roadrunner? (Beep Beep)
Congrats on the purchase! I've been in a "midlife crisis" since my 20s and I'm in my later 30s now, so I better start soaking it up cause I don't have much time left.
Too many people assume it's a "mid-life crisis".... But in reality, it's often simply a case of "now that the kids are grown and I'm rid of the other drains on my wallet, I can afford one" kind of thing. In other words, the crisis is over and now it's time for ME..!!
I completely agree with you. This is the same case for my father. That is what makes me appreciate these cars. The people who drive them all come from a similar place like that. Thank you very much for watching, Steven!
I was about to post the exact same comment until I scrolled down and read yours! lol. I would have owned a Corvette in my 20's, 30's 40's if I could have afforded one. Now that I'm 50 and my kids are on their own I CAN afford one. No crisis!
I just bought one two weeks ago. Sold our house after 30 years.. I Will be 63 in August... Wife said I deserved it for working so hard over all those years. Told myself day before wasn't going to buy another sports car. Drove passed the car lot, seen the car that they just got in on trade the day before. Wasn't even on the lot yet. Off to the side.. stuck.out like a sore thumb. Stop talked to the sales man. Monday, 3 days later my wife wrote a check... Early birthday present. It deff makes up for selling my last sports car.. 2008 28k. Coupe. Fully loaded, I am in love with it.. it has several upgrades. I am truly blessed to be able to outright own it....amazing car..
I am 5'5" and have a 2011 and a 2012 C6. They are both convertibles with about every option. When compared to other Corvettes especially the C7 and C8 I like the clean styling of them. They are great in every way and the interior should not have been condemned so much and the car should not have been ridiculed when the C7 appeared. I am very happy with them and certainly would not part with them for a measly $25,000.
FYI, because of your video; I have now, last week, bought a 2006 C6 convertible. Definitely was not planning on that last month. Odd thing is, I grew as a teen hating the look of the C6 Corvette. Now I love everything about it! Weird how life works out?
I liked what you said at the end. Its for hardworking people who work Monday thru Friday and just want the joy of driving a fast affordable sports car. Overall i liked how in depth you went into your review 👍
Too funny yes 57 years old I just bought a 2007 Corvette. I’ve been in jaguars Mercedes and all different kind of cars. Our first car was what is a 1967 five or Firebird convertible three speed so this is pretty interesting to ride. I haven’t driven in a car like this in quite a while so I’m quite happy.
I just bought my 2007 corvette base, with 73000 miles, atomic orange, 6.0, with 2 tops, garage kept, dear maintained only, with new michelin tires, new brakes, new harmonic balancer, new shift cable and it runs quite. It's a coupe, with 6 speed automatic. I'm 73 and wanted a vette since 13. It rides and handles great.
Really liked this and it helped to solidify my opinion even more regarding the C6. I have an appointment tomorrow morning to test drive an "08 Convertible. Cant wait.
One note, the c7 is also of the same chassis family, many parts interchange and it also has the “transaxle” layout. The c5-c7 are a great double a arm chassis that is pretty timeless from a performance standpoint.
I have a 2010 C6 and without a doubt each time I drive it it brings a smile to my face and a joy to my ears. I have no intentions of ever getting rid of it and stay on top of the maintenance and upgrades that aid to its performance and appearance. I’m definitely one of those blue collar workers you described with the exception that I grew up 20 miles outside of Detroit and always saw the new models hit the streets. I have been in love with Corvettes since a young boy and promised myself I would own one. My wife knew my dream and bought my C6 brand new as a Christmas present, so as you can see, my Corvette is not the only “keeper” I have in my life.
Great job, I’ve owned a 2005 , C6 manual red convertible, since 2007. I agree with all your points. The C7 is even better, but I’m having too much fun in my C6 to bother trading it in. The only thing I’ve done is install a Kenwood double din, to get blue tooth, and added some camera’s , front and rear. Can’t wait for summer.
actually, this would be the best car for double that amount of money ! it is just incredible that you can have it for that kind of money. America, power to the people ! :) with love and jealousy from germany.
I am in my 50s with a Corvette and I am fine with it. My first new car at 21 y/o was a Pontiac Trans Am(still have) prior to that, I had the Camaro, Firebird, Chevelle SS and Monte Carlo. Later in life had BMW, Lexus and Volvo, it's all about the driving experience, not trying to be "young" again or pick up women, just something to enjoy in these trying times!!
I have watched the video several times and couldn’t agree with you more. I have a 2008 Z51 3LT option package with dual mode exhaust. The car is identical to yours. The best color scheme for a C6 in my opinion. I also use it as my daily driver except when it snows. Every time I get in my Corvette I have a big smile on my face. I also have a 94. I still love and enjoy that also. Drive on. Thanks for the video.
Ok, I'm that guy... not mid-life crisis, but a retirement present to myself, when I had to sell my motorcycles because of health, I bought a 2012 GS convertible... I'm at the age where the goodies in your trunk are in my past sadly, but about the car -- it's a blast and I chuckled at some of your points about the interior... you're right... who really cares? But I still have a bit of fight left in me, so I bought a set of headers and had them installed and dyno-tuned and let's just say it is even more fun... I'm tall like you are, so your video reminded me of that - we're kind of stuffed into the Vette. I chuckled about the 'large speedo, so you can tell just how fast over the speed limit you are going'... yep! lol. And, you are right, keeping the traction control ON, because these cars are not passenger cars like we all drive, they are sports cars, and power to weight is way-way-more different... mine does have some more goodies like magnetic-ride control, and HUD, etc, but yeah, the car is a blast down the interstate... it's my summer vacation on wheels! Fun video! Take care young man.
hemikid52 .... I also had to sell my bike because of a bone cancer in my spine. That was depressing, but my wife told me I should buy a sports car. I made a list of five cars and the C6 Z06 was on the list. However, I opted for the Ferrari 360 Spider. I still would like to get the big block Vette, but not likely to happen.
Choco Latte dang, man. The 360 is a pretty different beast at a totally different price point. I’m younger but can easily afford a C6 and its gas, maintenance, and insurance. 360? No way. But I’m glad you got into one and I hope you’re enjoying it! I rented an F430 at a track and it was extremely fun.
Me too! 75th birthday present! I love it. I have the NPP exhaust option, which was modified by the "Mild to Wild" kit which gives you the 3K rpm sound from the git-go! Rich witt
I am 6 ft 318 lbs, my 2007 was a Targa top and it was like putting a condom on but my o6 is a convertible and sooo much better to get in or out, I just slide down the seat back. In my other Vettes I got compliments occasionally however my convertible 06 in white with chrome wheels gets complimented every single day usually several times a day!
Loved your video! I’ve been kicking around the idea of buying a Cayman S or Alfa 4C but after watching this video my interest in a Corvette has been renewed. They’re a great bang for the buck sports car that tend to be more reliable than most other sports cars too.
@@DriveHub I actually test drove the Cayman, and loved it, but compared to my recently purchased Vette it was a simple choice. A grey Porsche or a beautiful yellow Corvette convertible. An easy choice.
I got my corvette for 12k it had high mileage but everything was amazing in it the interior was clean the seats weren’t ripped and it had everything working I got it for a pretty good price it is the LS2 but it’s fast
I own that exact 2007 convertible in the same maroon color with the cashmere interior. Mine however has auto trans which puts the gearshift on the steering wheel. Mine also has the volume control and channel changer on the steering wheel. I just wanted to mention that those options were available. I think it's one of the best Corvettes ever designed.
The car test driven appears to be the base, LT1 model. No head-up display. No heated seats. Basic wheels. Although the brakes have been upgraded to drilled discs. I've just moved up from an '06 C6 LT3 convertible to a comparable '19 C7 LT3 convertible. I wouldn't have thought the C6 could be improved. Until I drove and bought the '19 C7!
I definitely like the C6 Corvettes as I had a 2005 new and a 2008 new. Both of convertibles and the 2008 was a Callaway car. In fact, the 2005 I had was the same color combination you have. Loved them both, great riding cars and can't say anything negative about them and never had any issues with the convertible electric tops and either car. Good luck with yours.
I am a certified Old Guy, and my hat is off to this Young Man who has really captured how much fun anyone can have with what is now an “older” Corvette. Much humor, but an accurate description. Oh, yes, you can get a “modern” car with all sorts of electronic doo-dads, but for pure driving fun, you can’t beat this model Corvette (full disclosure: I own a C5 Corvette, also no slouch in the “great to drive” category).
Been a corvette enthusiast for years !! Outstanding video, my dude !! You did GM, and it’s flagship sports car proper justice !! I’m fan and subscriber, after that well thought out, and nicely edited review video !!
Thanks - I'm one of "those guys!" Working class background - no mid-life crisis, just was finally able to afford one (and the kids grew up, so I didn't need a back seat). I love my C6 so much that I watched every minute of this video, even though I already knew everything you said. The car is practically magical. Whenever I see a really nice car -- Porsche, Tesla, etc. -- I say nice car, but it's not a Corvette, now is it?!
I have a C6 Coupe (2007) that I use as a daily driver. I put 125 miles a day six days a week to go to work round trip. I love the ride> I love the mileage (31 mpg) and most important I love the look and style of the car. It is one of those vehicles that you get to have everything.
I purchased a 1998 Sebring Silver C5 coupe last September from Mecum in Louisville. 53,000 miles, Car is flawless. I’m 63, kids are gone, it’s just me & my bride. We love the car, still turns heads for being 22 years old..NEVER seen rain...
Those c5's are so underrated. I bet the gas mileage is great as well. Had an 02 z/28 (ls1) with 6 speed t/56 with Hurst short throw. Got 25-28 mpg highway and averaged over 20 mpg. Blew my mind.
I`ve had an `06 C6 for a couple months and love it. I`m 72 yoa and a non-current aerobatic pilot. My other toy is a Harley Springer. Could have got one with an LS3 , which is quicker, but went with mine because it was un-molested.
Great presentation ! The video was very informative and clearly gave a “hands on” demonstration of the C6 features . This was the very best virtual test drive with all the information necessary on the C6 Corvette.
Well done video dude, lots of good information and it was especially nice to have a delivery that didnt have every sentence start off with "um" or "uh",you even managed to squeeze some comedy in there,it was fun to watch!!!
So glad you made this video. I rebuild cars on my channel and recently rebuilt a C6 corvette for under $11k. I’m absolutely in LOVE with this car. Sooo much bang for buck. I’d recommend to everyone.
Love this review!...I bought my 2007 C6 last March. I paid $20,000 for it w/63,000 miles. Corsa exhaust, 3LT interior, Blade Silver, stock chrome 5 spoke rims. My dream car.....daily driver, also not “mid-life crisis”, I could just finally afford to pull the trigger on this investment and enjoy the rest of my years.....😎
I recently bought an 08 C6 convertible with the LS3, and a cat back x pipe exhaust. I fell in love right away, easy to drive fast, the car is posesed it will make you do things that you wouldn't normally do. Every time I drive it I hit 100 at least once somewhere along my path. The sound is intoxicating, and you are correct as a daily driver its completely functional. I paid $14,000 out the door with 49,000 miles on it. DEAL! LT4 interior too.
Love your article. Bought my '09 (3LT) in '11 from first owner when it had 24K mi. He installed a COMP cam (115 LSA), cold air intake, LG headers and the LS3 turned slightly more HP than the stock LS7 for that yr model. The car is quick enough for a grocery-getter. Here in Tx I can get to the store for Blue Bell ice cream and back home before condensation forms on the carton !! I didn't understand much about the design before I got the car but after driving it, my hat goes off to all the folks in Bowling Green !!! Amazing vehicle for the $$$$
I have this Corvette to the letter. I love it. Candy apple red but of course Corvette has a fancy name. Same interior. Same wheels. I too modified the exhaust system for better than stock sound. I currently have 38,000 original miles. Thanks for reading. Have a great day. Tim Yarbrough
WeatherTech has a great cup holder phone mount available. It fits most cupholders as you can adjust to fit. It costs $35 plus $8 shipping. I bought one for my 2013 MBZ E350. I would recommend it.
KISS = Keep It Simple Stupid. I agree that one really buys a performance car to drive, and the gadgets are superfluous. The 2 power outlets in this car were a good start. However..as mentioned there is no real problem with using it as a daily driver...which is where some amenities become more appreciated.
A coworker bought a $40,000 Camry. I didn't even know they went that high. It's okay, and has lots of electronic gadgets, but that's about $15,000 too high, in my opinion, for a rather boring car. I'd happily trade ALL the gadgets for an LS.
I have a '07 C6 Z51 Coupe automatic with paddle shift. I got out of a Porsche 911 to cut maintenance costs. I have no regrets; but I do miss the manual transmission.
Very Sweet Vette. I have a 2008, Crystal Clearcoat Tint Red ... same color inside. I do have the volume on the steering wheel, dule mod exhaust and FAST!! 😀 So mine is a 436 hp all original and will be a classic in a few year!! Love Your Video, keep up with the Great Work!! Oh, I'm alil' girl, fast Vette, and I do use All the horses under the hood!
Hi, I enjoyed watching your video as well as listening to your funny and intelligent comments. I, agree 200% with your remarks regarding the interior. I have a C6, LS3 and each time I drive it (daily), I could not care less about the interior. I bought performance and power not a decorated Christmas tree. Thumps up.
Good video, you did a great job. I owned that exact car, even with a Corsa exhaust. I love taking the garbage out cuz it was parked in the garage, with the top down, and I just love that waterfall. There is nothing I did not like about this car. 191000 miles and I changed the battery once. You are so right when you say keep it somewhat generic. My second favorite car happens to be a GM product also, 2014 CTS v.
Thank you for watching! 191k on a vette is awesome to hear. Funny you should say that about the CTS V. I actually just had a 2013 CTSV Wagon stick shift for a few days to film a review with. If you liked this video, you should love this one; th-cam.com/video/MrBhXhHuhuw/w-d-xo.html
There's so much to be said about the Corvette. You got your haters of course, but you know what? Go ahead and find a car for that price with that value. They can complain about the interior all they want, and compare to a BMW or Porsche, but look at the price difference. The fact is, anybody that pays 100000 + for a Porsche, will never ever say they made a mistake. It's all about pride.
I had a 05 and loved it. Hated the electrical problems with it though. They were expensive repairs! My first month of ownership spent 3k in door locking issues, motor sensors and a full radio/nav system. Thank god for the warranty! I'll get another one someday.
Funny. My C7 has two buttons for seat presets...button 1, no shoes...button 2, with shoes. Wouldn’t even attempt to drive it in western boots, so “good onya”.
I have this car! 06 Convertible with 47,000 miles. I'm long past the "Mid Life Crisis". 68 years young and am loving this car. Everything that was said is true about performance versus cost. There is no better value. Plus this is made in America!. I have the heads-up display and the paddle shifter which gives you the best of both worlds. The true American Sports car!
I enjoyed a 2008 C6 convertible for a number of years. I enjoyed your review and it is spot on except you better have very good snow tires to daily drive a C6 in New Hampshire. Those wide tires are like snow skis otherwise in snow. Thanks for the video.
I love my C6. Mine has buttons on the steering wheel because it has the LT3 trim, and it has an LS3 engine in it so it has difference performance numbers. It is very daily driveable because of its ample storage and excellent cruising fuel mileage. The only knock against it with that respect is its turning radius sucks and it is low to the ground.
I finally have my dream car. It’s an 06 Vette, it had to be Malibu Red, hard top/convertible, auto/paddle shift, which I love. If you’re driving in the mountains, you shift down going up & shift down going down the hill (saves the breaks). I like it in traffic, too. If someone’s ridding my behind, I just keep down shifting & watch their reaction. I’ve always wanted a corvette since they first came out (shows you how old I am). I used to work on cars with my dad, he raised a “tomboy”. My husband had Parkinson’s Disease & I was his 24/7 caregiver for over eleven years. He always gave me a bad time about how I wanted one. He’d say, “Wanting & needing are two different things” Six months before he past, he told me I should get that Corvette I’ve always wanted. I told him it was as good as ordered. I absolutely love this car, I drive it everyday. People ask me if it’s my only car & I tell them of course. It’s like diamonds, if you’ve got ‘em, wear ‘em. I use my china & crystal very day as well. OK, I’m 74 & I’m not slowing down. My license plate says, “THANKS-T”, for my husband. I just wish he were here to enjoy it with me. Life is short, if want a Corvette, get one. Don’t keep saying, maybe tomorrow, cause before you know it, tomorrow is yesterday. Enjoy yourself, that’s what it’s all about.
What an incredible story, thank you for that Susan. That’s actually a very similar case with the Corvette in the video. The owner was mid 50s and his father was passing away. For the past couple years he went and looked at various vettes but never pulled the trigger. Finally he realized that his father was on his death bed and that gave a revelation to him about just how short life is, and you can’t take the money with you. He purchased this vette and was able to take his father for one ride in it before he died just weeks later. Enjoy your C6 Susan, you worked hard for it and it brings me joy knowing the car is out there on the road being driven like it should, as opposed to sitting in a garage under a cover. Happy Motoring Susan!
Bought a 2005 C6 conv with 13k miles five years ago for 28k from a Chevy dealership, best vehicle purchase I ever made.only 1 mechanical problem in 5 years and that was a broken shift cable which was about a 200$ repair.
Had the same car in a Beautiful Velocity Yellow, 6 speed paddle shift. Sold for $20k with 48m to buy a C7. Love the C7 for 3 x's the $ but will Miss my C6 for years to come. Love almost all corvettes
'Great video!! ...'makes me want to part with $25,000 tomorrow for the right C6... I've owned a C2 roadster and a C3 t-top... and I'd love to have one more Corvette before I head into that last roundup (just celebrated my first birthday that begins with a "7")... So thanks again for giving so much detail about the experience of driving a C6 roadster...
You offer a very appealing analysis of this car. My wife and I own a near duplicate to the vehicle you demonstrated, albeit 1 yr newer ('07) with a 6spd auto trans. We've enjoyed 48k miles of trouble free road trips, and routinely realize 28+ miles to the gallon. When you tell people that - who are unfamiliar with this car, they think you're exaggerating. You can 'play' with this car and still realize 22-23 mpg, AMAZING. Prior to the purchase of our 07 Vette convertible, we owned a 1966 Cobra roadster (replica) mfg'd by (the former) Butler Racing Inc of Goleta, CA. Ron Butler - the mfg'g owner was Carroll Shelby's crew chief. It was a wonderful beast, but after 26 yrs of ownership (and perpetual wrenching on it), I sold it. The Vette is nearly as powerful and offers similar zest, but with waaay less drama. I like that at my age - as I was 55 when we bought our Vette new. You state the C6 could easily be a daily driver...and I couldn't agree more. It has a remarkably good size trunk and easily accommodates enough cargo or luggage for the intent the car was designed for. At age 68, I've long overcome the urge to be the first from every stop light. What I thoroughly enjoy most, is driving our Vette - with my wife along side me, and setting the cruise to maintain 63 mph through twisty county highway turns marked 40 or 45 mph. It corners so amazingly well, as you state - without any body roll, that it's simply a joy to drive. That is this car's "element" in my opinion. THANK YOU for your informative yet amusing dialogue in this video. Your analysis was 'spot-on'. Best regards young fella :)
Not only do I love the C6 I’m looking for a z06 but I thoroughly enjoyed your take on the whole car as well. probably my favorite part though was the fact that I got to see my old home out of the window as you were commentating. New Hampshire will always be my home I lived there 15 years it’s amazing. Luckily I’m in South Florida now and can drive one year round.
I've had two C4 Corvettes and 4 years ago I bought a C5 04 triple black is definitely a Step Up good gas mileage and a lot of power and comfortable I'm 6ft 2in
Great job! Really enjoyed your straightforward, clear explanations and descriptions. Also love you gripe about all those whiners who demand a luxury interior experience from a high value sport car. When the interior in question is in a car costing 10's of thousands less than its competitors, expect a bit less where a sport car can be less (interior) and stop complaining. Truth is the interior they are bitching about is actually very nice and comfortable as it is in your 2006. If the car does not massage their butts they are not happy. Note: "Emblazoned" not "Embezzled" - but it was understood, so no foul. Well done!
Man ! Your presentation on the C6 Corvette was very helpful . I own a 2012 C6 automatic. So l was clinging onto everything you had to say. STAY WELL ! DAN .
Loved the video. It was not boring.I brought my dream car ( 87 convertible corvette) before 50. No crisis just fulfilling a bucket list promise before I turned 50. I plan on buying another. You sold me on this C6.
We are picking up our 2008 Corvette C6 LS3 in a few weeks, sight unseen. The handsome fellow that represented this awesome machine gets a thumbs up from us! Very informative, yet keeps everything light and humorous. We got a kick out of the items he keeps in the trunk! Keep up the good work, young man! We'll keep an eye out for you in other videos.
The Waterfall brings the exterior color inside between the seats. I like that, part of the reason I bought my C5 convertible. Great review. Enjoy your C5. Also 105 thousand miles is just broken in.
Great video, beautiful car, mine is a 2006 coupe, same color with bolt ons that give it 400 RWHP. Worked as a welder/pipefitter and decided I deserved a reward for my efforts now that I'm retired. No midlife crisis here, I'll be at the road course on Sunday. Best $22,500 performance bargain around, put the MGW shifter in, you'll love the car even more.
If you guys enjoyed this review you're definitely going to love my latest review of another Chevrolet powerhouse! CHECK IT OUT HERE! th-cam.com/video/wvrUwIxogJA/w-d-xo.html
you got it right for 2 out of 3.. 1- i am having my midlife crisis post retirement.... 2 im buying something for pure fun... but im 38. but you are good!!
I have the exact car,but automatic
I have a 2008 LS 3 . Luv it
I really hope this IS a midlife crisis because I just bought one on my birthday last week.
Have fun !
OK...the planet is 25,000 miles in circumferance (more or less)
Your neighbor is 85 and drove his 2000 Corvette "over" 360,000 miles in 1 year.

I' m 50 and bought a yellow 2016 (used) mustang hard top. It is the mid life crisis that started with hotwheels.
Exactly why I just bought me a c7 2014. Best money spent.
I was about to post the exact same comment until I scrolled down and read yours! lol. I would have owned a Corvette in my 20's, 30's 40's if I could have afforded one. Now that I'm 50 and my kids are on their own I CAN afford one. No crisis!

How's it going brotha do you still have these two keepers?
Great job, I’ve owned a 2005 , C6 manual red convertible, since 2007. I agree with all your points. The C7 is even better, but I’m having too much fun in my C6 to bother trading it in. The only thing I’ve done is install a Kenwood double din, to get blue tooth, and added some camera’s , front and rear. Can’t wait for summer.
actually, this would be the best car for double that amount of money ! it is just incredible that you can have it for that kind of money. America, power to the people ! :) with love and jealousy from germany.
We love Germany and Russia.
@@flexl9214 well... Germany anyway
Shut the fuck up, Woodstock. Go listen to some Canned Heat and roll around in the mud, you goddamn hippie.
Me too! 75th birthday present! I love it. I have the NPP exhaust option, which was modified by the "Mild to Wild" kit which gives you the 3K rpm sound from the git-go!

That’s why I make these videos! I really appreciate the comment and thank you very much for watching!
@@DriveHub I actually test drove the Cayman, and loved it, but compared to my recently purchased Vette it was a simple choice. A grey Porsche or a beautiful yellow Corvette convertible. An easy choice.
I take mine on road trips. Who wants a problem 1500 miles from home, and 300 miles from the nearest Porsche dealer?
I have a C6 Z51 3lt vert. It has a Corsa Extreme. It sounds sooooo
nasty. Driving it is truly therapeutic for me.
Exactly what I have and I love it. The Corsa sounds amazing. I picked one one about 5 years ago with only 9500 miles on it. Best car for the $$$.
Bought my 2006 C6 exactly like the video car. Also bought a C7. Drove both cars for two years. Sold the C7. Still have my beautiful C6 with 52K miles.
Completely agree with you. I have a 2007 Corvette convertible and still turns heads even though is 12 years old. The LS2 engine is a monster.
The LS2 is a beast. Thanks for watching and enjoy your C6, Happy Motoring!
You certainly had a great car!
He said it right, 6 speed manual and simple, not to many buttons!
By far the best reviewer. Funny and straight forward. You hit the nail in the head with buyer demographic.
Been a corvette enthusiast for years !! Outstanding video, my dude !!
You did GM, and it’s flagship sports car proper justice !!
I’m fan and subscriber, after that well thought out, and nicely edited review video !!
I own a 2010 Grand Sport coupe. 6 speed manual. It is loaded with the 3L package. 19K miles on her. Great Vette.
19k miles? If I owned it it would be 19k miles per year.😂
Thanks - I'm one of "those guys!" Working class background - no mid-life crisis, just was finally able to afford one (and the kids grew up, so I didn't need a back seat).
What an awesome story! Glad to see someone who truly uses their car like this. Thanks for watching and enjoy your vette!
Yes the Corvette is the greatest American car still.. even the older gen have a ton of character. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you very much for watching!
Well done video dude, lots of good information and it was especially nice to have a delivery that didnt have every sentence start off with "um" or "uh",you even managed to squeeze some comedy in there,it was fun to watch!!!
2 months ago I upgraded the stock exhaust on my 2005 to a Borla SII. I sounds great, and I enjoy driving it even more than before.
Corsa
exhaust, 3LT interior, Blade Silver, stock chrome 5 spoke rims.
I have 2006 convertible in yellow with black interior with the Corsa exhaust and love it.
I'm about to buy a 07 C6 real soon and I want to thank you for all the information and your video.
my favorite sport car since childhood. In the past it was c4. Now i think that c6 is the best of every vettes ever made. nice video

Like your commen sence approach to your review of the corvette well done
I agree with everything you said. New car's have stupid gadgets. All you need is a phone mount and you're good to go.
Couldn’t agree more! The vette is a simple driving experience that lets you experience the number one thing... the act of driving the car!
And a good stereo
A coworker bought a $40,000 Camry. I didn't even know they went that high. It's okay, and has lots of electronic gadgets, but that's about $15,000 too high, in my opinion, for a rather boring car. I'd happily trade ALL the gadgets for an LS.
I don't understand why you don't see more of these. Just an unbelievable mix of performance and reliability for the money.
my favorite corvette edition, precision red, beige interior,c6! the best!
Agreed! Thanks for watching!
That's actually Monterey Red, but I agree so much that I've owned one for 13 years now
Thanks for that info Harve! Always appreciate that stuff. Enjoy your vette my friend, Happy Motoring!
I have that car (2006) too, except a coup and that exact color!! Thanks for the awesome video and your title is right on!
I was pleasantly surprised. I really liked the video. You sold me on the car.I liked what you said and how you said it. Great job!
As a former '06 C6 owner, I applaud your accuracy (and your spot-on sense of humor). You done okay...
I have a '07 C6 Z51 Coupe automatic with paddle shift. I got out of a Porsche 911 to cut maintenance costs. I have no regrets; but I do miss the manual transmission.
I have a 2004 C5 Z06 with almost 9.600 original miles on it. It's a solid, quality performer . . . and I like the hidden (roll-up) headlights.
C6 rules! I have a 2008 triple black convertible! I get stares and glares all day long! Great video!
Nice vette! Thanks for watching!
Is this a positive thing? You enjoy being stared and glared at? I don't. Sounds like a nightmare scenario to me.

Finally a really good review!! Well done young man.
Thank you very much Mark that means a lot!
Great production quality on this video man! You are definitely getting better with your editing skills keep it up!
Thanks a lot man! Been working hard at it!
Hi,
I enjoyed watching your video as well as listening to your funny and intelligent comments.
I bought one last year. A 07 base coupe with 42,000 miles on it for 18K. Its Amazing! It’s like having your own rocket ship in your garage. Love it!
Love my C6 ! 2008 LS3 ! Interior is just fine to me. Super fast, handles great . For the $$$ there is nothing even close !
Exactly! Nice ride!
Catherine Pence looks way better than the new one
Except a Shelby Mustang...

So beautiful! Nothing gets my heart pumping like a Corvette!!
My current dream car is a 2013 GS. I WILL have one.
Dreams DO come true!
Keep grinding man!
I have a 2013 GS! It has a LS3 with 30 more HPs!
I recently purchased a 2013 Torch Red Grand Sport, manual transmission and it is INCREDIBLE!!
I had a 05 and loved it. Hated the electrical problems with it though. They were expensive repairs! My first month of ownership spent 3k in door locking issues, motor sensors and a full radio/nav system. Thank god for the warranty! I'll get another one someday.
"all corvettes looks good, duh". hahaha thats true.
I had the same one, 2008 Z51 convertible too. Amazing car. I had to sell it and it broke my heart, but Im ready to get another one soon.
12:34 Heel-and-toe shifting in boots, I love it. I can't even do it in a flexible shoe.
Thanks, Jerry!
You got that right about the snow tires! Thanks for watching, Ken!
I still like the c5 and the way the headlights are hidden for daytime driving
Does look smooth and helps prevent uv burn on the lens!

Good video and correct information about the C6. Drove a C7...too much Star Wars in the dash for me, but a nice car.
Unlike the C7 and the C8, the C6 is much more elegant and will look much more modern as time goes on.
Well done!
It's embossed.
Loved the video have a 2005 C6 convertible of my own and can definitely say i dont regret going for it
I love my C5 2004 Corvette. Last year with the "Flip up headlights" and the body is super smooth.
I too have an 04. I like the look of the headlights much better on the C5 than C6.
I agree. i like the smoother body lines (coves) and smoother hood (flip up headlights) of the C5. Must be why i bought one, Great cars.
Man ! Your presentation on the C6 Corvette was very helpful . I own a 2012 C6 automatic. So l was clinging onto everything you had to say. STAY WELL ! DAN .
Thank you for the great review! I'm a 48 yr old man looking for just such a thing. Damn the interior.
Loved the video. It was not boring.I brought my dream car ( 87 convertible corvette) before 50. No crisis just fulfilling a bucket list promise before I turned 50. I plan on buying another. You sold me on this C6.
Great Video! I love my black 2010 C6. I'm very satisfied!
Nice car! Happy Motoring with it!
I have a 2005 version. M6, Rag top, same color exterior and interior. I went with Borla exhaust and did a cam. 440HP at the rear wheels after a tune.
Young Doug Demuro?
He's way better than Doug. Doug knows nothing about performance driving
Love your review, especially your subtle sarcasm.... And I love C6 Vettes!!
Kenneth Albert ,Irony?
Buying the car you WANT is not a mid-life crisis, it’s a midlife epiphany…. I SHOULD HAVE BEEN LIVING LIKE THIS MY ENTIRE LIFE.
I love the C6 interior...it's like sitting in the cockpit of a luxury jet fighter.
Thanks for watching! What an awesome story. I’m glad you use your vette as it was intended!
