1-31-2024 worked just fine! Only difference is I’m on Monterey and the ‘ssd’ was labeled ‘hd’ instead. And when the new os was installing it first said “2 hours and 50 minutes” but despite saying that, it only took about 45mins to an hour or so.

Question @ITJungles: i have purchased from ebay , but unfortunately it is having recovery key, which i dont know. also the mac volume says (encrypted), i still see Erase option available if i select the system as u shown, chose APFS. do you think, it will erase still, the volume disk is encrypted/locked ?, and after erase,does it retain the same recovery key, or locking ? it is same model as u shown in this video Macbook Pro 2015 A1398

I got 2015 early MacBook Pro, but I cannot upgrade to higher version than El Capitan! Any help here???
Tried all available sources but no luck!
If I start installing from external hdd or ssd content higher than 10.11.6 - I get that black screen with message that your computer restarted due to issue… but my external drives do jot have issues + if I load macos on the internal ssd - same issue 🤯🤯🤯🤯any suggestions???
