I have the problem that my lever always has a little bit of a gap (it rattles when I jump sometimes) and I think I adjusted all of my screws on the Gyro itself and on the cables. The thingy on my brake lever adjustment screw that keeps it from unscrewing itself has some weird bend though. Any ideas? (I am running a Salt Plus Gyro Set btw.)
I had the same issue on both brake levers. I ended up taking the adjustment nut off both, trimming them down and then using other adjustments to compensate. I also used a knarp on my upper gyro cables as no matter what I did I could not get the upper cables tight. Worked like a charm.
I got my son a new BMX with gyro brakes, but noticed there's no way I can come to a full stop right away. Is this a gyro limitation? I'd like for my son to come to a full stop and leave a nice streak showing the brakes truly respond. Not sure if I just need to switch to conventional brakes or my gyro system is just a cheap one?
If your gyro is set up properly it should work just as well as brakes without a gyro. The brakes should be fully engaged before the gyro hits the top plate.
Hi there’s not enough room between my gyro plate and the gyro causing a lot of slack in the brake, as well as causing the gyro plate adjusting screws to hit each other unless everything is screwed out to reduce as much slack as possible
Is the gyro unit level as it moves up and down? If not, you can adjust one side of the top. If it is level, you might need a headset with a skinnier profile

It might be that your lever took some damage in a fall or crash.

The bottom cables on my bike is too far up any fixfor that?

Can you do a video removing the gyro
You can also lube your cables as well .
My handlebars shaft keeps rocking back-and-forth. Why is this please help?
Most likely a loose headset / stem
I’ve installed my gryo but when it goes above the headset sometimes it gets caught and won’t come back down. Any fix?
