It was worth the 28 minutes to see you spin the wheel at the end and dab the brake. I've watched a few of your other videos and I have my brake close to how I want it. Next stop is duel cables for the lower. Keep doing what you do!

Hell yea man, thats awesome to hear and I'm psyched to have been able to help you get your brakes close to the way you want them.
Dual cables are great for adjustment and keep you a little safer if something breaks because its usually just one side. So you still have some brakes rather than just nothing instantly

Tons of awesome info! Hey, I was checking out your Amazon store in the description, you should add bike parts that you have used and like.... especially wear items like pads, cables, tires, etc and things like levers and other parts....I would definitely use your link. I was hoping you'd have some things in there for me to try out.

Thank you! This is the clearest front-to-back walk thru of your brake set up vids so far. Makes me wanna switch to the dual lower cable setup just like yours :)

27:47 You can get smaller Barrel adjusters or put them in a vice and hacksaw couple of threads of the end then the giro plate won’t hit on the bottom barrel adjusters 👍🚲💨

I'd rather have the extra adjustment if it were ever needed

This was fascinating to watch! I run a Straight Cable on my Trails Rig, haven't run a gyro in years! The way you set up the Lower Cables to the Brake is bizarre but brilliant! I've actually sent this video to my Mum with instructions to show my old man haha! He always put my Brakes together for me when I was younger, dunno what it was but I just couldn't get them right (No patience haha!) He wasn't the biggest fan of Gyros, really wasn't a fan when I decided to run duel lower cables! He was a metal worker, fabricator & he's just an all round handyman badass! He'll definitely love this idea & we'll have a good chat about it next time I see him!
I do wonder, is there a way to simplify this? Make it more streamlined? Kink have been pretty damn good to you, you're running their Brakes too & those guys take their Brake stuff pretty serious. Wondering if this could be made into a Cable Hanger Combo much like how a few companies now offer the "Spoke Mod" hanger. There's definitely something special to this.
My friend has a CCR Frame where the Cable passes through the Seat Tube & you have to make a super short Straddle/Hanger set up. He's worse about his Brakes than I am! I wonder if there would be a way to get 3 of the Bolt/Nuts & loop the cable round & through so it makes a pseudo 1 Piece Straddle/Hanger behind the Seat Tube?
Thank you for sharing my dude! Stuff like this gets the old cogs turning!

Hell yea man I hope your old man gets psyched on it and you guys have a good talk about it all.
There’s probably ways to streamline it but I just haven’t looked into it too much. This setup worked with spare pieces and parts the first time I did it so I just never really thought further into it.
Could be something to it though

@@Brant_Moore Oh for sure! You've got a nice space between the Gyro Plate & Tabs, I'd love to be able to pull that lever!! How powerful have you got the Brake? Do they lock up immediately? Love my brakes violently sharp haha!

They aren't instant as I like a little bit of travel, but not too much

You know instead of a shoestring try velcro zip ties to keep your cables from flapping around

what breaks are those? I just bought a 24 inch haro dmc master and I'm trying to install a gyro on it. The spacers needed for a stock odyssey gyro are WAY off for that bike. I need to run a dual cable set up to get it to work. So need to figure out what breaks you are running.
