Thank you for posting videos which are easy to understand, have good lighting and focus, and a steady camera angle where we can actually see the parts being installed.
I'm happy to help!! Thank YOU for watching!

Been installing gyros for 35 yrs or so. Gyros are easy ro install, but Brant's set up is complicated. But he shreds.
👍🏼
I thought it was long winded maybe he’d smoked a few bowls before the video or something.
Bros gotta get the ads figured out
Your channel is gold bro! I just started and I’m waiting for my bike and I’m gonna need to get a gyro kit.. So all of this REALLY helps man! I cant wait to hook my bike up lol
Great job on the video. I'm fixing up an old bike for my buddy's kids and needed some info on the gyro. Thanks
THANK YOU!!
Woah! Excellent break down friend much appreciated the info!!!
Great video. I have a Sunday primer. What gyro set up should I buy?
would love to see this video but for my 2002 haro i am building it totally different then what your showing
That's soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo sick video!😎🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Did you cut your steerer tube? My headset looks Hella high with my top load stem my bars are 9.25 and it high
Hey man learning a lot from the videos keep em rolling. But maybe u say later in this video, but if I order like a Snafu Mobeus,or a Odyssey gtx or any newer sealed detangler, what comes with it? Do I need to also order a plate, cables, tabs, both sets of cables etc etc? And can I run Odyssey with Snafu cables or vica versa?
I'm not sure about what's included with gyros when bought new but I'm sure it would be listed on the companies website what should come with it.
Tabs and cables definitely aren't going to come with a gyro unless you're buying something like Odyssey's gyro kit. Even then, tabs won't be included as they're frame dependent.
what sprocket do you have?
i need some help my fork is to small what can i do now ?
Just what I needed. My gyro is pulling up and then get stuck in the headset dust cap and won’t come down again
Your gyro isn't clearing the head tube. Get a Colony gyro. It won't hang up. I had that problem you're having, but the Colony gyro fixed it.
How is the new bike going would like to see another video on it 👍👍🇦🇺
Just waiting on enough parts to come to make another video worth while! Soon!
I guess you can only add a gyro stem to sort of 'recent' BMX bikes? I've got an old GT Performer I want to renovate but I don't think it is possible without those brake cable guides below the headset. I think my GT Performer is from the 90's.
There’s adapters that you can get to add gyro tabs for use with the old style headsets.
I could do this when I was a child now they scare me at 43.
@brant_moore thanks. Looking at adding a gyro set up. Is it normal to have to use a different headset than what came stock (Sunday Ex)? I only have a small spacer so was thinking a different headset may be required in addition to the odyssey gyro kit.
It’s possible you might need more space so the gyro has enough room to move up when the brakes are pulled.
As long as you have enough of your forks steer tube in your stem that should be okay
Thanks. Part shows up today. Will check it out 👍
@brant_moore. Thanks. I installed the odyssey gyro, which was pretty easy after watching your video. Hardest part is keeping the upper cables tight in the detangler. That takes some messing around. Will have to see if it stays in place…fingers crossed
Great video bro!
I keep trying and failing. Please tell me its not just me
Hi 53 year old rider here I wanna fit a gyro I have an integrated headset is that still possible?
The frame in the video has an integrated headset
@@Brant_Mooreoh excellent what brand gyro is it please
Fit Bike Co has my signature gyro on their site.

If you use the code “MOORE” it’ll save you 10% on anything you order!
Is there a way to run a gyro setup on a frame that doesn't have the side tabs on the frame/ doesn't have mounting holes
There used to be an adapter plate you could put onto your fork but I don't know that that exists in 2022 for a 1-1/8" setup
@@Brant_Moore yeah I know about those but if I’m not mistaken those were a whole headset combo right?
That sounds right. I don't believe it's something that exists for a modern bmx headset but I could be wrong
@@Brant_Moore honestly might do what a few others did and just drill/tap the head tube
"Will not apply to you" considering you have the last GTX-R in existence.
Hahaha I will run it until the end too!!!
Not quite the last one, mine is still going strong!
Haha they’re still out there!!
I have two on bikes as well as a spare and potentially another on the way!
