There are so many moments I love from Star Wars: Darth Plagueis, and this is one of them. Apart from the meeting between Hego Demask and Jabba the Hutt, the thing that caught my attention most was the mention of Komari Vosa and the Bando Gora. A direct reference to the video game, Star Wars: Bounty Hunter. One of my all time favourites from my childhood, Jango Fett was actually my favourite SW character when I was a kid.
im playing that game right now on my gamecube... jabba distances himself big time from the bando gorra before he asks jango to take out Gardulla and keeo his name out of it... a timeless classic that game is
Having the social clout for a hutt to come to them and speak in Basic shows how, even when retreated from the galactic stage, Darth Plagueis still has tremendous reach.
A rare scene in tales from Mos eisley cantina audiobook you can upload is when uncle Owen and aunt Berue are killed by empire . It’s in the story called a stormtroopers tale … the audiobook version is easily found on TH-cam on other channels .. very important scene that most don’t know exists
Not sure why the writer made Jabba speak in basic in universe, instead of just having the discussion translated to basic for the sake of the book, but in reality Jabba is speaking Huttese to Plagueis
I think it's rather interesting myself, almost as if Jabba likes to only speak Basic to those he respects, and if so, I find it really awesome that Plagueis is one of those beings.
When the space version of the Godfather meets Darth Plagueis the wise.
Lmao, you thought Daniel Davis tried to immate Marlon Brando?
@@buntsbooks No, but that would be funny.
@@dereklopez9060 Brando's voice for Vito Corleono is a tough voice to imitate!
@@buntsbooks Intergalactic Banking Clan: let me make you an offer you can't refuse 😉
@neilmurphy966 easily one of the best quotes from The Godfather and delivered beautifully by Marlon Brando!
It's cool to see Jabba knew characters like Plagusis, Palpatine, and Dooku.

Crazy that Plagueis was one of the few people Jabba spoke Basic to.
Technically, Jabba was speaking "Huttes," where hearing Plagues' point of view of translation of what Jabba is saying!!!
huh? What about this part 1:09
@@GreaterGrievobeast55yep he was speaking "coarse Basic" wasn't just a translator device
@@pascalhicks4376Jabba was speaking in Basic. All Hutts can speak Basic, they simply choose not too unless is necessary.
8:48: Jabba: "It's over Plagueis, I have the high ground!"
I adore the fact Damask and Jabba became underworld bros for a hot minute. Shame that alliance didn’t have a chance to grow.
"Are you here to talk about Treblanc or Gardulla?" 😂
Ahhh those padawans of Dooku seem to have had undue effects on galactic history eh? 😊
The nararator makes Jabba sound spooky!
Jabba is spoky. His brutality is legendary.
Man, middle-aged Jabba's voice rocks!

Jabba used the Sand People tribe of Sharad Hett and his son to weaken Gardulla's faction. During the battle Sharad was killed by Aurra Sing.
the force really does bind the galaxy together
you can see jabba talking about this and moving around while he does..if you close your eyes for a few minutes
When Jabba is addressing someone he doesn't consider a fly he can effortlessly swat, he becomes a lot more intimidating.

Around 51:50 is when they interrogated and eventually killed them
I have the actual audiobook, though it's abridged. I will check it out.
This is Canon for me!
Could you you put any of the Darth Maul scenes from Darth Plagues!?!?
Haven't I already?
@buntsbooks the part when Plagues oversees Maul's training!!! And he is surprised by his saberstaff!!!
@pascalhicks4376 sure, I can upload that. Could you provide the chapter, by any chance?
@buntsbooks I honestly don't know. But I think it was around part 3, pir to the events of The Clone Yinchor attack in the Jedi Temple!!!

The book specificallyly says after Jabbas first sentence that he spoke in coarse basic.
