How come Dooku's not happy about Qui-Gon being a rogue? Shouldn't he be at least pleased that his former padawan keeps questioning the council?
My take is that he wanted Jin to be better and change the order for the better and possible join the council.
Dooku didn’t want to be on the council cause he saw how stagnate & blind it was but I believe he was hopeful his apprentice would change that

Dooku is right about the Jedi's blind loyalty to the Republic. Defending is one thing but following blindly is another. Luke didn't make that mistake with the new Jedi order.

Fully agree, the moment he told Borsk Fey'lya to fuck himself was the moment Luke avoided the failures of the Old Jedi Order.
This would reference Dooku Jedi Lost Audio Drama when almost a decade before The Phantom Manace, Dooku, and his companions like Sypho Dies and his sister Jensa were battling his Evil Brother Ramil who was corrupt as their father was, and was on the brink of bring Serennu to destruction and he had been forced to kill him and then take his place as Count of Serennu!!!
Plagueis, Dooku And Palpatine seem to come from the same cloth in Legends EU as far as familial, political, governmental, and business backgrounds plus all were high potentialed in the force and very high on intelligence quotient yeah.

Yes, as seen in Jango Fett: Open Seasons, where we see the incident where Dooku and Vosa kill all the True Mandalorians tricked by the corrupt goverment of the planet.
