the reason why the person in that clip actually had a catch chance is probably because they have found more lifmunk statues to increase catch power

@@markthegamerofgrima6159 yes, he was aiming at its back, but what I learned while playing the game... the back bonus is tricky to get, you need to aim at the right spot, which changes for every pal, you literally have to HD the ball and aim all around until the words "capture rate" change to "back bonus" in the little image that shows up while aiming the ball.... honestly I am more impressed that the dude in the video got several "back bonus" tries in a row, that is so hard to do, I have only ever got 1 chance at the "back bonus" chance, even af6er trying to roll around behind it after it is in a ball

Meanwhile. My graphics card (RX 5700 XT) keeps running out of memory unless I play in like 720x480 windowed lowest settings.
And yes, it does run out of memory. If it were all preaching. I don't think my performance would be taking a massive hit that's only solved by restarting the game every 20 minutes or so.
And I'm sure the game doesn't look like it should be anywhere near that demanding. It looks like a PS3 game and probably one close to launch title.
At this point, I view Palworld as an alternate universe of Pokemon, where the pals look similar to the official Pokemon and the themes are as mature as we gamers like it.

A universe where people actually paid attention to the terrifying Pokedex entries and treated Pokemon like the threats (and support) they are.
I love Pokémon a lot, but the fact that this game was made by people who had no knowledge of making games makes this funny and amazing.
Now Contrast this with Scarlet & Violet. Made by professional devs. Some of whom had literal decades of experience.
I don't know how much of that is true though, because before Palworld they made Craftopia (quite a few years ago), and it's very very similar to Palworld.

@@Mrcraplington I don't know, they are so very similar, that to me Palworld seems very much like Craftopia 2.0.
Besides I heard that Craftopia was 'abandoned'? Not sure if that's true but recently content updates (don't count bugfixes) seemed rather slow, the only meaningful update I remember is Seamless World, and right now it feels like it's the intermediate step between old Craftopia and Palworld.

Which is funny, cause until a recent patch those bloody things actually were bugged and reduced capture rates. It was actually more likely to replicate this if you didn't find any of the Lifmunk statues

Lol, I’m definitely in the “It’s 20 levels higher than me, I’ll never catch it” UNLESS it’s a Shiny-I mean, a Lucky Pal, then I at least have to TRY.
That’s how I got a level 40 Lucky Mossanda when I was level 25 solo. (with a Capture level 5 too. The giga pal-balls gave me a 5% chance when it was nearly dead, I used up all of them, but by sheer luck, the server I’d joined with my friends, they gave me a purple Palball that I had hung onto since I started, and that’s when I finally used it.
Totally worth it, especially when I unlocked the Mossanda’s dual-wielded rocket launchers.

Today one of my pals was overfull and 3 were starving. One was happily working and had a severe fracture and skull fracture and a broken leg and sever wounds. He had a shit ton of problems but test also said for his emotional state that he was extremely happy. I mostly ignored them and let them do everything on their own. Most of my pals were overworked and too tired so I decided to start building a line of camp fires for base defense and all my pals got up and ran to help build the lawn of fire happily. I put a sign up in front of my camp fires stating "STAY OFF MY LAWN!!" I love my psychopathic pals.
if your pals are getting sick and injured all the time, my guess is you're still feeding them berries or baked berries. Stop feeding them garbage. Give them jam rolls, omelettes, salad, pancakes, or pizza and you will not only see them get sick less, they will produce more as well. Who knew not treating your labor force like disposable trash had its benefits?
I got a shiny depresso and wanted to show my friend in the server how it looks like its drowning itself in the spa. In the call i was like "cmer depressooo come take a load off in this nice relaxing spa". he refused to get in it. MY friend said you're being to nice to him. he's depresso not cherrio. convince him its terrible in here.

The devs are some of the most unhinged lunatics in the business and I absolutely cannot get enough of them XD. Following their shenanigans is almost as entertaining as the game itself
Pokemon has pikachu for their mascot, but Palworld, well we have Depresso and we love him.
In terms of not having the same capture rate there’s two possibilities here,
1. they upped their rate by turning in lifmunk effigies to the power statue.
2. They did a custom game setting that upped the rate
