FB data collection is way ahead of the times. Laws can't catch up to what it's doing.

Why are financial institutions allowed to share/sell our personal data/information? What about our privacy?

Well I think it's a controversial matter, in fact nobody is forced to release the private datas in social networks.

You ask questions and cut off answers. Smooth. You have time to keep saying 'I only have four minutes' and no time at all for him to finish even a sentence?
People may think he's a robot but he isn't. His side deserves to be heard. We aren't human if we don't treat him as a human.

Sounds to me like somebody really likes Facebook. Yet doesn't understand how that media platform actually works. It's sad to see a guy have to defend himself. For a company that everyone actually seems to like. Yet out of jealously. Take the time to ask questions about they're favorite app on the internet. That distracts everyone from doing they're job.

Well the congresswoman sure was rude. You didn’t hardly give the man a chance to speak. Also peltering question after question at him doesn’t help.

If you only have 4 minutes, perhaps you shouldn't ask that many questions...
Congresswoman, you are just showing off, with no real concern on how Mark responds.

he seems to have a lot to lose if he doesn't strictly follow an explicit protocol which is clearly not his doing. Be it big money withdrawal or even death threats to preserve economic wealth

People were incapable of thinking for themselves, reading the ToA and to think twice before posting everything on a medium that is meant to share stuff with other people.
I'm sorry, but if anything you didn't want to get shared got shared via Facebook, it's most likely because you gave someone permission to use that information.
Don't blame the product, blame the user.
Also, she keeps saying "I don't have time"... so... justice has to be rushed???

You are both right and wrong. The biggest problem here is that they are literally manipulating us, by stealing our likes, dislikes, fears, toughts, secrets. It’s not just about posting a picture. They analyze our private talks with people, our locations, the things we searched up… Of course no one knew this coming, when we first joined facebook, there was no such things before, maybe even they didn’t know back then, what they can do with all of us…… They can literally make people believe things they want to believe, and act in a way they want. It is crazy. And just a few people are aware of this.

@@stefaniemorina9509 "there was no such things before"
Ah yes, because before Facebook market research didn't exist XD
People have been manipulated into doing things they normally wouldn't do ever since money was invented.
Or do you think that stores are just arranged randomly? Or that advertisement booklets for childrens toys get delivered to all households?

first of all i don't fuxkin mind if he makes money out of me, I'm using what he had created! and second of all if you're really aware of your privacy and sh!t set your profile to private account, everytime i upload a new pfp i set it to only me and when i upload a pic i set it to only friends it's that simple,, matter of fact i turned off the people u may know option so i won't appear on anyone's “people u may know”
and till today i haven't faced any problem and most importantly don't use the app if you're so concerned about your privacy, go get a pigeon
