Oh my word Becky i absolutely love that valentine card. I remember that chip and dip set. We had one in a different color. You did great finding your treasures. I also love owls. Thank you for taking us along with you to find those treasures. So until next time God Bless you and your family and have a Blessed weekend and stay safe my dear and Special Friend.❤❤❤
I love that owl clock so much, it's just cool. I was born in the late 50s, spent my childhood in the 60s, and became an adult in the 70s. I have such great memories of the later two decades when it came to music, art, and growing up with my three older sisters. You have an eye for the 70s especially, and make no apologies for it, which I love.
Wow! Awesome haul! We had a couch exactly 100% like that. Lol! As you said I think everyone did. I love the napkin with your place setting ❤ Everything you placed in its spot looks really good. ❤😊
Hi Becky!Great finds!!I love the doilies and handkerchiefs!!Also,I think the owl clock is awesome and looks really good where you hung it!!!!!Enjoy your goodies!!!!!😁🎉👍❤
Thanks Sherry and a belated thank you for the Christmas card. I am So sorry it took me this long to respond I do so appreciate you thinking of me. I hope you are staying warm. I don't know if you are getting the snow and ice coming in but if so be safe.
Great haul! I love the table runner and hankies you picked up for Valentines. I still haven’t gone vintage shopping yet this year. I have had so much fun shopping my house and giving our home a fresh old feel. I get a kick out of my hubby when he notices something in a new location. He likes to say that I have been nesting again. 😂
I love doing that too. We all know I have plenty to shop with in my home. I'm going to be honest though, I am biting at the bit just thinking about all the places I want to go this year and look for treasures. I guess it is an addiction just like anything else.
Awesome treasures Becky at the stores. The purple transfer ware was gorgeous. The purple is a harder color to find💜. You got some great things. The owl clock is so cute and your glass pieces are so pretty. Love where you put the clock and the brass owl. We were married in early sixties so all the things you love from the 60’s, 70’s and eighties we had at some point in our house. We had lots of orange and gold😊Love and blessings. ❤️❤️❤️
Thanks Jean! I couldn't believe how much those purple transfer ware dishes were! That thrift store really must have thought they had found a treasure. I am curious to know how long it takes them to sell at that price.
Really!? I think I want to try it. I just don’t want to waste the fabric if I can’t do it. This makes me want to give it a try. I’ve been seeing a lot of patterns lately.
Great haul! You definitely have decor taste straight out of the 70s but it works and looks beautiful with your modern couches and handmade wood furniture.
Oh wow Becky, I love everything you got! The owl clock is amazing and I love your new amber swung glass vase! I have yet to get my first one, but I am still looking! Love your party tray set, your Blendo bowls, and your table setting too! Just everything! It's all so beautiful! I clearly remember the couches you are talking about, wish I had one too! Wonderful video, thank you so much! 🌻🦉🌼💖🌼🦉🌻
Oh my does that couch bring back memories lol my grandparents had it, and I love that you collect the owls. My Aunt who is passed now loved owls and it just makes me smile😊
All of your finds look so good where you placed them around your house, especially the owl clock. It is so 70's. And those napkins just make that tablescape. Looking forward to seeing what kind of party you throw to use your new dishes! ❤
OMGOSH!!! I’m so glad you got the owl clock! I said to myself I’d get that lol and I’m not even an owl person. Whenever I’m out and see owls I think of you. Those dishes with the blue flower did Make my heart jump! Loved this video. Thank you so much for sharing.
Those blue dises were so pretty but I think they had them marked too high. It was an expensive day at the Habitat. I ended up leaving all that vintage goodness behind sadly.
I love your 1970’s taste!I decorate mostly with primitives but if I had a spare house ( or even a spare room), I would definitely do it with a 70’s vibe. 🌼🤎🌼🤎
I am finding myself wishing I had a bigger house to decorate with all the beautiful things I see. I would have a whole room with just 1970's floral chairs. LOL!
What great finds! I’m finally getting a little motivated after having to stay home for 3 weeks being sick. I’ve shopped my entire house and moved things from room to room. That’s a savings instead of buying. It was so good to see you again! Have a great day!
Everything is lovely! Especially liked the daisy set for parties. I hope to run across a green transferware cup and saucer one day. I have purple and red. Thanks for taking us along!
Lol! My first sofa was actually a love seat, beige background with large florals in of course greens, browns and oranges! We didn’t have room for the matching sofa, nor the money! It was 1975 and was so proud to have it😊
That runner will be gorgeous for Valentine's Day! I would have picked that up too. Good for you for getting that Blendo set. I found the large bowl once but never the set. Good price!
Maybe you can color copy any of the vintage hankies you use and preserve the loveliness that way-I could never cut them. Interesting and pretty things-I’m a late 50’s gal and love seeing these things. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you Dusti and a belated Thank you for the Christmas card. I am still trying to play catch up from all my "lounging" and lazy days of Christmas. LOL!
I tell you, the thrift stores in my area are so frustrating. I guess it keeps me from buying so much but it seems that of their prices were lower they would be able to sell more for their charity.
Hi Becky, It was fun to go along with you on your treasure hunt and you definitely found some great items for your collections. Looking forward to your crafting videos to see what you will create for us! I've gone out a couple of times since the New Year, went to 4 thrift stores and two antique malls, I came home empty handed, my local thrift store shelves were bare and the antique stores were way too pricey. But I'll hope for better luck next time.
Oh my, yes, sometimes the thrift stores will price something at a "silly" price. Recently, I spotted a nice Johnson Bros. platter with a red transferware pattern, it was marked $24.99!!! Also a tabletop jewelry case for almost $100!! @@MyLittleVintageHome
It comes in all colors, so beautiful but usually scratched up and damaged when I find it. I had never seen the chip and dip set so I was immediately in love and for 30.00 why not.
Becky you had the perfect place for everything you bought!! I love it. When you were talking about the sofa with the wooden arms it brought back so many memories of growing up. And can you believe this? We have my in-laws set in our basement right now. It is not finished but is being used for storage. More memories. We haven’t been antiquing in quite a while. Been wanting to go to West Jefferson but haven’t made it there yet. I can see a trip in the near future though!!
I love going to West Jefferson. I have never been able to stay a whole day though. We usually hit it on our way home from visiting Boone so I have only been able to visit for an hour or so.
I know! I originally filmed a little soap box rant on the prices but decided against it (that’s why my intro was a little chopped up) it makes me so mad that the antique stores are cheaper than the thrift.
Hi Jane, I am in a very high tourist area (near Myrtle Beach, SC and my area has 3 prominent beaches) It's so crazy that they charge so much at their thrift stores here. I actually filmed a small "rant" about how high prices were in this video and then changed my mind. I was so frustrated.
@@MyLittleVintageHome How nice of you to reply. I too have typed an email when really annoyed and just let it sit. I live in Sarasota FL also very touristy, but all but Habitat for Humanity price really low. The turn over is amazing. Habitat is another story. The director seems to think that all their “free to them” goodies deserve to have almost retail prices. The result is nothing sells. 😳.
Yes! Oh my goodness I sure did and I loved everything. Especially the owl toothpick holder and I am wearing the bracelet you made me right now as I type this. I thought I sent you a “thank you” note to an old comment you had left me from before, Maybe it landed on the wrong comment. I’m sorry about that but I did receive it and I am so grateful and I love everything. Thank you so much Melissa

Do like the owl clock! Party time with new dishes…fun!
Oh my! If only I could find green transferware and that purple! Beautiful!- watching from Lake wales, Florida
So pretty but sooo expensive! ☹️

Thanks Sandra! I have always been drawn to that type of decor but never knew how to add it to my home. I am really enjoying it.
I love everything you found. Great pieces
Love it all !!
Great finds! As a fellow owl collector, I think the owl clock is fabulous, and looks great in your living room.
Thank you! 😊I am loving it!
Loved everything you bought Miss Becky🥰

It’s SO much easier to sew from vintage patterns! They actually teach you how do the different steps. Fun video to watch.

I can't wait to find out myself either. I am already running ideas around in my head. ❤️
Becky that was a great haul. Beautiful clock and daisy serving set. ❤
A wonderful haul becky. I love owls too. You bought some great things x

Wow, so many owls! Everywhere you looked 😯 and I think your owl clock / picture is truly outstanding! Great finds (Blendo is a bucket list item) ❤
Just watched your video I can remember all those styles growing up and married 1970 thanks for the memories
I did enjoy your haul and loved your ideas on how you will be using them! 😃
I have tons of those vintage sewing patterns. My mom was an excellent seamstress and I ended up with all of her patterns.
I love your 1970’s taste!I decorate mostly with primitives but if I had a spare house ( or even a spare room), I would definitely do it with a 70’s vibe. 🌼🤎🌼🤎

Oh no! 3 weeks! that's too long. I hope you get well soon Tonya! I have made a relapse myself, I think this Winter sickness just recycles itself.
Love the clock! Everything you got looked perfect in their place!
Everything is lovely! Especially liked the daisy set for parties. I hope to run across a green transferware cup and saucer one day. I have purple and red. Thanks for taking us along!
Which set are you looking for? Like the one I saw in the video. I would be glad to look for it for you too.
My favorite is the brass owl
Fun shopping trip. The red/white table runner is very pretty. Cute Valentine. Super cool Daisy set. I was wondering if you would buy the owl clock,😊
😊nice to see you so giddy, Becky enjoy 😊
Lol! My first sofa was actually a love seat, beige background with large florals in of course greens, browns and oranges! We didn’t have room for the matching sofa, nor the money! It was 1975 and was so proud to have it😊
I think the memories with these vintage pieces is 100 percent of the fun of seeing them again.
Crazy iver your daisys! My fav flowers
Your thrift finds are awesome, my favorite is the clock and brass brass owl.
That runner will be gorgeous for Valentine's Day! I would have picked that up too. Good for you for getting that Blendo set. I found the large bowl once but never the set. Good price!
I’m glad I picked it up. I had walked away from it once but thank goodness it was still there when I went back.
Love the owls 🦉 ❤
The runner for Valentines could also be used for Easter very pretty thanks for sharing
Yes! It would be perfect.
love the blendo set! beautiful condition and color! glad you treated yourself at good prices! very nice linens and the brass owl is adorable
I'm glad I picked it up too. I had already left it in the shop one time. I can't wait to be able to use it.
OH ,GET ALL THOSE OWELS THEY ARE BEAUTIFULL, ❤
How cute! You are so blessed. I Love all the 70's flowers and things you have. What a pretty home!❤
Maybe you can color copy any of the vintage hankies you use and preserve the loveliness that way-I could never cut them.
Interesting and pretty things-I’m a late 50’s gal and love seeing these things. Thank you for sharing.
I ended up not using them for the project. I just couldn't bring myself to cutting them. I hope to use them in my tier tray instead.
Just found this channel and I'm so excited. This video was such a nice escape from the rainy weather. Thanks so much!
Welcome! I'm thrilled to have more like minded vintage lovers around here.
So many great finds! Can’t wait to see them in your home❤
Thank you Dusti and a belated Thank you for the Christmas card. I am still trying to play catch up from all my "lounging" and lazy days of Christmas. LOL!
Love your haul Becky, you have the best antique stores I’ve ever seen. 😍
I am always looking for good antique stores. I wish I had more time to explore.
I’m out here in Seattle and the Thrift store here in my town is ridiculous in its pricing! 😮
I tell you, the thrift stores in my area are so frustrating. I guess it keeps me from buying so much but it seems that of their prices were lower they would be able to sell more for their charity.
Nice haul!❤
Love the owl clock
Loved it all
You found some nice items. The Blendo by West Virginia Glass is $50 and up on eBay so $30 is a good buy.
That makes me feel like I got a good deal! I am so in love with this set. I can't wait to use it.
LOVE THS!!!💖

Great haul ! Never heard of Blendo glass !
It comes in all colors, so beautiful but usually scratched up and damaged when I find it. I had never seen the chip and dip set so I was immediately in love and for 30.00 why not.
You need that chair! Your colors!
I do need that chair. I wish I could secretly get rid of David’s massive brown recliner but I think he would kiss it. lol! 😉

Cool Haul
I knew you picked up the daisy set❤
I had to! ❤️😉
Some of those prices were outrageous 😳
I know! I originally filmed a little soap box rant on the prices but decided against it (that’s why my intro was a little chopped up) it makes me so mad that the antique stores are cheaper than the thrift.
My husband had that furniture when we got married. 35 years ago. And I made him get rid of it. We called it hobo furniture.
LOL! Come on now Shari you know you want that furniture back in your house! 😉
Perfect place for clock❤
Wow, where are you located. The prices are SO high.

What?!? Elvis was left behind?
His hair was too curly! But if I could find that Elvis lamp that I used as clip art I would have a really really hard time walking away.
Love it all !!
