I would go with the bells over your sliding door. Bells were a big thing back then. Your fireplace is looking great!! Your hutch looks so nice with the beautiful Christmas dishes and green glass pieces. I'm really loving the whole 60's vibe. 😊❤

I like that you’re leaving out some of your everyday decor. I do the same thing and just put my Christmas decor around it all. Also, the red bows might feel better to you as stand alone decor, like on the front of cabinet doors or just the doors in your home. Just a thought. BTW, I grew up in the 60’s and our tree was silver aluminum with blue balls.

Your decorating looks fab! The garlands in particular, especially around the door, really work. You're right about the plates and kitchen wallpaper. The yellows and oranges fit in with the Christmas decor. It's what it would have looked like back in the day. Very authentic, I recognise it from my parents' house. ❤

I love all the nostalgic looks. The poinsettia dishes are the Christmas icons of my soul. Lol. Poinsettia items remind me of my mom and the 70's for some reason. So calming to my heart. Momma would love them also. I love the feel of it all. I could just sit and just look at it all. Peaceful for some reason. I just love it all.

I have a small home Becky so I decorate around my regular stuff. I am quite disabled so as much as I love decorating I can no longer go all out like I once did. I love Christmas and love what you did. You have a talented hubby. Glad his shoulder is better so he can do wood working again. God bless Becky.

Everything looks wonderful Becky ❤ Just a thought, if you do something red over your patio doors that is not bells (I.e. poinsettias or bows), maybe do one in each outside corner as well as the centre? The fireplace is really coming along … I think I am as excited for you as you are for it 😂 Maybe not having all of your decorations in front of you all at once is less stressful? Less choices = more cohesiveness … in the end it will all be beautiful, of that I am sure. Hugs …
