Hey everyone! So I’m going to start posting to be accountable. A little about me; I started my weight loss journey at 236 pounds just over a month ago and started 96 hour fasts weekly. I lost 22.2 pounds and I’d really like to begin 72 hr rolling fasts, starting today (8/26/24). I am currently 214 pounds. I’m a 5’2 female, and I’d really like to see where this takes me! Happy fasting everyone! 9/12: holding on strong, currently day one again of the rolling 72, I’m playing around with the idea of extending to a 92 just for this week, because I’m going on vacation for my birthday, and a 92 would be more conducive to me eating on my actual birthday next week!
Hi! I'm also on my fasting journey and your story has been incredibly helpful. I'm a 5'10 male and 250 lbs, started fasting a few days ago before I caught this page. I'm on day 4 of my fast and I've lost 8 lbs. I'm looking to go 21 days before I transition to rolling fasts to meet my goal weight. Much love to all going through the process and keep on going on!
Hey Jerome, after watching your stream on Sunday, I’ve decided to join you on your ADF journey and will be performing 42 and 65 hour fasts. I’ve been trying longer extended fasts, such as 90 hour & 100 hour and have been having difficulty maintaining so trying something new alongside with you, so thanks man love the videos will keep you updated in the comments bro 🙏.
Consistency, so important,I thank you for explaining again how you succeeded in rolling fasting because i eanted so hard to try the same and stopped and gained weight again i miss fasting now. I decided to come back again and fast in less but with consistency.
Great attitude, Jerome. Continuing to adapt your path towards greater health is brilliant. It won't always be easy, but your patience and perseverance are excellent traits to have when trying difficult things. I wish you all the best I broke my 7.4 day water fast this morning. There were challenging moments but overall, I think it went pretty well and at this moment, I really do feel that I've learnt some things about my relationship to food that will help me going forward. I'm going to try daily maintenance calories for a week or two to give my body some time to recuperate, and then I think I will either go back to ADF or a 5:2 weekly protocol. Either way, I see fasting as an integral tool in helping me stay at a healthy weight and controlling my binge eating I look forward to enjoying more of your content!
Have you tried a low carb refeed like avocados , non starch veggies, your famous brussel sprouts and sausage, salmon with spinach? Seems like you could get more focused fat burn and less carb craving that way if you’re doing shorter fasts
I finally completed my 1st prolonged fast in idk how long...lol I was 2 hrs away from hitting 60 hrs but I'm still proud of myself. This prolonged fast was needed because I just simply didn't have control of my eating habits. The snacking was into late hours n when the scale hit 173 n when my 2 yr old niece started hitting my stomach like it's a pillow, that did it for me😂😂😂😂😂. But seriously, thank you for allowing us to share your journey. I watch your videos and it is great motivation!!! My Ideal weight 130.....I know I will reach it eventually. I feel good because I wanted to stop n all I could think in my head, trust the process!!! This morning I weighed at 164!
Im starting a 4 or 5 day dry fast, today is day 1!! Tonight will be the start of day 2 so im very excited and both nervous. After that I plan on going straight to a water fast. I did this exact regimen in February and I fell off with the eating so I’m gonna do it again but this time I want it to be a little harder. I want to remember this “pain” so I can be aware of how hard it was and to not want to do a long extended fast ever again and so I can be more disciplined from now on. Wish me luck
I’m 64, use to do rolling 48’s and 72’s 2 years ago. I started a 38 hr fast on Mon tried to make it a 5 day but hypoglycemia got me last night so I ended it at 61 1/2 hrs 🎉🎉 I ate 2 scrambled eggs, can of kippers, 2 cups butter coffee, Swiss cheese and some macadamia nuts. Sleep was still disrupted hoping to sleep well tonight ❤ I appreciate your content Jerome 🎉 I learned I need to start slower so going forward I’ll be intermittent fasting 18/6 then build from there. Have a great day!
I am back from vacation!! I was at 133.8 when I left. Upon returning I am 145.6 lbs , so roughly I gained about 11.8 LBS. I did basically consistent 20 hr fasts while on vacay but still ate without restriction. I don't officially go back to work until Monday so I am going to do a 45 hr fast which I am currently 15 hrs into and start rolling 69-70s until I'm back on the low end of my weight goals.
Thanks for continually sharing and keeping us posted on how you’re doing and what’s been going on! I’m sure the accountability is helpful but also knowing the vacation weight is temporary is helpful! Glad you enjoyed yourself. Back to work! 💪🏽
@@FinallyFasting Thanks Jeromey Rome!! Your channel and the fasting community you've cultivated here has definitely kept me going. For the first time in years I haven't stressed over what I'm eating, weight gain, or how to maintain my weight. It's really liberating!! I'll be sure to post my nerd stats and progress as I get back to the low end of my weight goals. Imperfect consistency is a whole vibe!!
thank you Jerome for making us feel like were not alone. I'm doing a 7 day fast. I hope I'm able to accomplish this feat. your a great role model for fasting. thank you for that.
Hi Jerome Mark from England I've messaged before your incredible I've lost 4 stone in 4 months 5ft 11 down to 160 slim and fit and have my cheat days followed you all the way your brilliant all the best good health and your a good looking guy! ( I have a gf😅 but you look cool )
it is so interesting to see how different people have so polar oposite difficulties. you can fast with no problem, but eating a restricted amount of calories seems impossible to you. i am on my own fast right now wich is giving me not so satisfying fat loss results and because of that i saw one of your videos you posted 3 years ago and you had the same problem i see in your more recent videos, being unable to stop eating. after your battle with fat, dont you think it is the time to fight for a good relationship with food, satiety and calories? i am no one to give advice, just some random dude that you sparked some thoughts inside his head. maybe you have a genetically imense stomach and bariatric surgery would be what you need so you can start and build a balance with calories? maybe do alternate day fasting with the eating day at maintenance and try to build discipline like that? i dont know, just some words man, have a nice day

You should make a video on how you cook the Brussel sprouts and Italian sausage. And what type of Italian sausage you buy.

Ok I have to try for real this again. I just get so dang hungry
Water and plain black coffee. Remember hunger comes in waves.
Per Dr Jason Fung, there’s nothing wrong with drinking some bone broth during your fasts. I did it when I was starting out.
What timer do you use?
How's your skin on belly after drastic lost weight? Is it soggy?
Congrats just a question did you or do you have loose skin losing this much weight?
What app do you use to track your fast?
zero app
How are you doing brother? have posted in 2 weeks hope all is well
I livestreamed on TH-cam on Sunday. Did you miss it?
