    That’s truly heartbreaking. Because despite all the crazy shit she’s been through because of the rift raft you’ve been involved in - she’s still been wanting to be in your care. Kids want to be with their mom no matter what they put them through.

    • @anonymoose116
      @anonymoose116 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      It really is. My spouse and I have sole custody of my step-kids (for clarity). They love their mom, and still want to be with her, despite the abuse and neglect they suffered under her care, despite the fact she's done nothing for them in nearly two years - not even a birthday card. They're still too young to understand that she's not good for them.
      As they get older, they will see it, and that's the most heartbreaking of all. There will be a moment when they see her for what they are and we will have to clean up the mess.

      Here's the kicker!!! She had the baby she was pregnant with since this hearing an it tested positive at birth for meth an was placed with JFS then after the people had the child that she lied to for 10 moths that the child turned out to be the cone heads baby in the video. She manipulated the family into thinking it was there grand child then tormented the family because the family figured her out . She hacked there bank account there cell phones Bluetooth the baby monitor watching them. She caused so much havic in there lives called grandma work texting grandma threatening her. When grandma contacted jfs an gaudian over this situation they removed child from there home do to the conflict. Instead of jfs an gaudian standing up an said enough an put this so called mom in her place. Broke the grandma heart. The child had been in her care for 10 months. Well taken care of loved an safe. She acted very selfish to her own wants instead of letting this baby be loved. The child was never neglected harmed clean beautiful home. Happy baby. Also the cone head an wanna be mom strung out on drugs snuck over to grandma home where grandma leaves her soda on porch in back porch an put drugs in her drinks causing grandma to get ill an bragged about it. Wanna be mom also claimed taxes on new child she's never had an causing grandma taxes to be frozen. So do u think baby should had been removed do to the conflict with grandma telling jfs an gaudian what mom was doing. Instead of the system working to protect grandma an baby this 10 month old child was put back in foster care. Unbelievable .. that's not all folks jfs did not advise grandma to get legal restraining order to protect her an baby an her home they Instead disrupted this child's life an listened to the wanna be moms lies she was running out of time baby 10 months old the grandma an grandpa wanted to adopt Lil baby an mom got mad. An began to cause more conflict. Also over 20 police calls to a place the cone head an wanna be mom for domestic violence. Mom is now on probation for another drug charge an in November 23 another drug charges. An the Lil girl in this court case tested positive for drugs at birth also. If you are mad good!!! Potest for grandma to get Lil baby back in her home where she belongs..

    How sad is it for Mrs. Sanders, sending this child she loves and cares about to her bio mother for a Summer visit, only for her to come back to her damaged. Ugh, my heart for this baby. 💔 This will effect her the rest of her life. I hope she stays with her guardian permanently. I see Mrs. Sanders making sure this child receives counseling, and all the support she needs. It’s questionable what the bio mom would do for her, if she was in her care. There are no words for the level of depravity I believe this child was just saved from. Because boyfriend is not their for mom, otherwise he would have left she did and wouldn’t have been so visibly angry at the judge’s ruling. So for everyone who always complains about a the criminal justice system, this is what it looks like day in and day out and everyday judges make decisions like this that save children’s lives. @@janessap1739I’m so sick of people being flippant with the lives of children and try to excuse horrible parenting with the “everyone makes mistakes” bandaid. That is complete and total BS.
      There is a difference between making mistakes in parenting and being a negligent parent who puts their own needs ahead of their child.
      It is quite clear she hasn’t changed. She moved a strange man into her home the moment she started dating him and is already pregnant by him, without ever getting her first child back. She is full of excuses and lies.
      The dumbest thing she did in this hearing was believing her boyfriends testimony was somehow going to help her, when all he did was lie and make her situation look significantly worse.
      You don’t gamble with a child’s life and giving birth does not give you the right to be a mother, sorry.
      If you want to sit in here and make excuses for her and coddle her for being a selfish mother that puts men and drugs and her own needs before her child, go for it. You’re entitled to your opinion, but how dare you try and chastise others for understanding that biological parents are not always the best option for raising their child.
      Every case is individual and should be looked at as such. This is not an all encompassing issue of reunification. This is a woman who hasn’t bothered to be a mother and now wants to come to court and stomp her feet until she gets her way.
      Brooklyn is exactly where she needs to be and I am confident she’ll remain there. I feel horrible for this new baby, wow.

    It's fascinating when someone brings in a witness... unless he was subpoenaed, and their own witness ends up sinking them further. I was literally getting prickly with embarrassment for him over the boyfriend's testimony. That said, I have a few long time friends who are addicts, and two of them completely turned their lives around successfully in the family lives and careers. One still can't get it together 10 years after losing their custody of her son. I'm all for reunification when it's right. People change. But it's not always right. And this girl isn't ready for children. I fear for her new baby.

  • @ariannaeleanor314
    @ariannaeleanor314 ปีที่แล้ว +30

    Even if you exclude the countless reasons why she’s unfit, if you *ONLY* were to look at the testimony of the boyfriend, that’s enough to tell me she has no business being a parent.
    I see one or two angry commenters trying to berate everyone else’s perception about this woman and interestingly enough, those people are filled with vile insults and accusations towards everyone else and I can’t help but shake my head at it, because I would much rather be labeled 100 foul names, then *EVER* risk the life of an innocent child.
    I do not care what this woman has “done” to supposedly better her life. This is not about HER. This is about a 9 year old little girl that didn’t ask for any of this.
    If this mother really did better her entire life and was actually ready to parent her daughter, then she would not have brought her boyfriend to the hearing to give a testimony that was full of lies and BS. He sounded like an absolute dunce the entire time he spoke and it’s because you need a really good memory in order to lie to the court.
    This is not about “everyone makes mistakes and no parent is perfect”. This is about a mother who’s shown over and over again that she will put her own needs ahead of her child.
    She is ALREADY in a new relationship with a man that she hasn’t even known a year, who moved in with her immediately and got her pregnant and both of them had just gotten out of their previous relationships. That is highly indicative of an unstable and emotionally immature person. Jumping from relationship to relationship when you have children and jumping straight into living together is a massive red flag, for good reason.
    If her daughter was her first priority, she wouldn’t be in any serious relationship, SORRY. Her daughter would be her *ONLY* focus.
    Then there’s the simple fact that she can’t even maintain a weekly phone call to her daughter! The most simple task as a parent and she can’t manage it.
    I do not care if every person in the world slapped me with a “judgmental b*tch” label for believing this woman doesn’t deserve her children, because the only thing that matters is that child being safe and loved.
    If you’re comfortable gambling with a child’s life, that says more about you than this does about me.
    She is a deadbeat, period. If this were a father, I know the few naysayers in the comments would be singing a different tune. 🙄 I do not feel bad for her, it’s time to grow up and get your shit together.

He says he has no history of addiction and that he’s never been in trouble, then just casually admits he has several DUIs? He also tried to play it off like those are no big deal….uhm, those are a huge deal actually. I found it so inappropriate that she would even bring some dude she barely knows as some kind of character witness in her CUSTODY case. I actually disagree with your characterization of her getting up. She didn't just get up and completely storm out of the room. She got up from being in front of the camera in order to hide her emotions from being seen. She is very pregnant therefore she is also very emotional. I'm sure she probably felt like she was going to start crying. Or even if her emotion was anger/rage, it would definitely have been best to not let that emotion be seen. It was very clear that the cps workers did not like her and no matter what, they weren't going to give her any recommendations. If all CPS cases were handled like this one, not one parent would ever regain custody of their child(ren). For a case worker to say that she thinks it is great how hard this mother worked to get off of drugs, become financially stabile, voluntarily began working in parenting programs, etc., and that she can be a good mother to her unborn child, makes absolutely no sense. If they truly believe that she is fit and capable of raising a new baby, they should not be allowed to say her other child shouldn't ever get to live with her mother.

    When the mother was asked if she has given the foster parents any money for her child that she’s trying to get back she says “no I have not” she sounded so proud of it. And also her saying that the foster parents haven’t asked her for anything I don’t understand how some parents can say such a thing, like why does someone have to ask you to help take care of your child, they shouldn’t have to ask for money or anything. She should provide the stuff her child may need or want, common sense. Children are expensive and will always need things, for example clothes and shoes because they grow so fast not including food, medicine, insurance.

      That's not a foster parent. That's a guardian. That's why there's a problem to begin with. This is playing out exactly how the system is set up. The mother has full rights, that child legally will be returned to that mother. She just needs an attorney and that child will be back with Mom in a few weeks.

Would I feel 100%sure they wouldn't hurt her? Yes. But as u said, its better to teach your child to protect themselves and and understand covering up. Its messed up, but its the way of the world. Also, the fact she doesnt understand the court frowns upon non bio males being in kids lives. Especially when they've only been "dating" the mother a few months. The most SA, PA and death cases happen by non bio males in the kids lives. Im sorry that you had to go through what you did. I really wonder why she's trying?
    Maybe she's been told she can't continue the free rent at the parents (where she has an entire floor) unless she gets her kid back. Or...maybe she's afraid by not having her first child CPS could step in and take her 2nd. I can't say that would make me too sad.

    What's really traumatic is when parents do the right thing contact law enforcement when abuse happens and nothing comes of it. In our town there was a very small child who was brutally rpd by an adult. She had to go through extensive physical examinations that found nothing. She had to testify. The jury found him not guilty. The reason is his criminal history was withheld. He had already been arrested and done time prior for other abuse of children. But unfortunately the jury was not allowed to know any of that. The system what that child down.
