Obviously they’ve all failed that young girl, the police should have been involved. Without court involvement the judge can only go by what the dad says, but doesn’t have anything to substantiate his claim.
If the mom couldnt be bothered to even show to court, the judgement should have been defaulted to how the father wants. And the judge making the older daughter responsible to helo with the younger sibling during visitations is completely unacceptable!
Why would a judge allow this mother..visitation when she is still with the person who abused her daughter..access to the children..who's to stop him from showing up with the mother..is case's like this type..all her visitations should be supervised..children safety comes first..plus the judge is making this child who was abused, relive her nightmare..over!!

That's why meetings are to be at a public place. The kids can't be at her house. There should have been a stipulation that the boyfriend could not be at these meetings or w/in a certain radius of the kids, especially the oldest one.

That limit on the age of child support ... I don't like that. I'm Canadian. Child support lasts until 18 and if they go to college or university, the payer is responsible for up to another 4 years.
It must vary by state here in the US... I live in NY and child support could continue if the child goes to college... However, not sure if that's still the case.

You all would be surprised, but the mom herself is not the abuser and most states want to keep both parents in the children’s life. And in cases of where the parent is the abuser they still allow contact if the person undergoes “counseling and rehabilitation”. We all know there’s no rehabilitation that would cure being a s*xual predator, but the law is very rarely on the side of the victim. Try looking up cases where the child has been removed due to abuse, and then returned only to be abused again. It’s extremely common, and difficult to understand why this keeps happening.

The mother of my child is a known criminal and drug user. She finally got out of jail and the courts gave her supervised visitation. My car is down and DHS cps had to take my child to the visitation. Well, they never brung her back home and I am the fit parent with documents stating i have physical custody.

There was nothing difficult about the father's question. Giving him credit for the period the children were with him is all well and good and they're doing him no favours, just doing the right thing. Given that the children were, in fact, living with him, surely that means that the mother should have been paying child support to him. The judge skirted around that and the mother get's off paying child support.

The oldest child should not be put in the position of protecting the youngest from Mom or Chomo bf. It should be professionally supervised.
I thought that was an unfair imposition on the oldest child, the judge has no right to put that kind of responsibility onto the shoulders of a child.

Was the boyfriend convicted of SA? I understand that there was an accusation, but wasn’t sure if there was a conviction.
