Hehe ok I'll set it straight, I do not run the channel or have anything to do with it, a TV production company called Tiger Aspect ran it, TH-cam themselves connected me and them to do the play button giving and the chair build, but your right in they get him in to do green screen stuff every now and then. Although someone is making a ton of cash I'm not sure much goes to rowan from what I could gather. Cheers for the weird shout out and now I know why I was getting so many Mr Bean comments on my latest upload haha.

The voiceovers definitely aren't rowan Atkinson, just someone doing an impression. The only bits that are him are the greenscreen bits

Okay, so I did some digging and this is what I found. The Mr Bean official youtube is linked to the Mr Bean official Twitter, which links to the Mr Bean official website. That website is run by Tiger Aspect Productions, a production company which is owned by an organisation called Endemol Shine Group. This organisation is responsible for facilitating programs such as Big Brother, The Voice, and Masterchef. If you run a search for colinfurze Endemol Shine group you will find that Joe Harbinson, the head of digital ops at Endemol shared a video from the Mr Bean channel which features Colinfurze.
This suggests that Endemol owns companies which are bankrolling both Colinfurze and the Mr Bean channel. Given that Endemol churns out low quality reality TV content like Masterchef, it would make sense that they might also be responsible for low quality Bean knockoffs.
Ultimately it seems that Gus is overestimating Rowan Atkinson's desire for Mr. Bean to be preserved and sacred. He probably handed over the rights to a 'reputable' media company in exchange for a cut. He does after all like to collect supercars, and that can be quite an expensive habit.

Apparently, Mr Bean is like really popular in India, like REALLY popular. Now that Indians are starting to get access to internet and phones reasonably cheaper than before, I'm sure many of these subscribers and commenters you were talking about are just Indians who are avid fans of the Bean.

Based on the clips Gus showed he's not acting in front of a green screen specifically for these videos, they look like green screen footage because they've been taken out of things he's done in the films/series and just stuck on there without context

I still have all my Mr Bean tapes that my uncle stole from a video store back in the late 90s when it closed down. I've watched them so many times they'll be engraved in my mind forever. I saw the cartoon for the first time years ago and just thought it was stupid, and I'm cringing at the TH-cam channel. Like Gus said, it's just another brain dead washed down kid absorbed in their iPad channel, and having grown up on the originals that's really disappointing to see.

Tiger Aspect tv has someking of copyright hold on mr bean and i believe he has a finger in it, but also i think he really doesnt care much about it, it must be easy to do some voices or greenscreen every few months (and maybe the voice is faked sometimes, i dont think its above this chanel)

An episode usually contains multiple sketches. So you may feel there are 3x as much episodes
at least in australia they would cut it up and each sketch was its own short episode. looking back its actually pretty fucked how they got away with it
