It almost seems like the wrestlers from this era themselves consider RTW to be a ‘definitive’ record for the Monday Night Wars and they’re really happy to provide some personal co text for that record.
Are main man is putting out the best wrestling content on TH-cam. The Davie boy Mongo edit still has me chuckling. For me it's this and OSW they really are the cream of the crop for old school 80s 90s wrestling
Almost 25 years ago and Buff's injury still looks brutal. I remember watching it live and time took forever for the ambulance to help out Buff. Its good to see him looking better these days.
Respect to Bagwell for appearing on the show and for DDP for getting him When this war series Is over I would love to see Wrestling Bios Interview these guys
The last reliving the war of 2022. Can’t believe how fast this flew. The DX invasion episode was one of my absolute favorites. Alex Wright is the man glad to see him again.
So glaaaaad to see Buff Bagwell!! This guy is total nWo essence, we loved to hate him! A great pleasure to see him again, Wrestling Bios is definitely the TH-cam channel I'll never miss! Thank you so much!
Great to see Buff looking like the Stuff again! I suffered a neck injury playing Gaelic football this past year, and I can absolutely relate to his "that's it, I'm paralyzed" feeling. I heard the crunch and felt nothing for the scariest 5 seconds of my life. I watched a lot of late WCW and Buff was always one of the highlights of every show, and the crowds always loved him. Reliable in the upper card and doesn't get the love he should thanks to WWE owning history.
The connection you've made with DDP is amazing! I'm really looking forward to hopefully getting more inside stories from DDP's crib. Stuff like this puts your channel on another level.
Good to see Buff doing better, as I have written before he get's underappreciated because he is not a technical marvel. He was always a very entertaining upper midcard act. Also classy of DDP and everyone at the crib.
He was so hateable that he got heat effortlessly. Now that I'm older, I can appreciate the skill it took annoy everyone. Buff, in hindsight, genuinely had the stuff.
What a time to be a fan . I was an 80s fan so i didnt realize it as much at the time . But rewatching t all go down through these shows brings back a bunch of great memories . And some terrible ones too lol !
So happy to see Buff back in good health. It was looking rocky for him when he relapsed. It was scary to see but DDP and his awesome team did it again. The fact that that there is no wrestling union it's great to see someone like him always looking out for his peers. Having some feedback from soldiers of the war itself was a great addition to the episode. Can't wait for part 2👍🏾
DDP is a great dude. Was always a huge fan of his character... But knowing he's actually a really great guy makes me like him even more. I'm also glad buff is doing better. That neck injury was rough to watch. There's no faking that. Damn.
It's mad to think Jesse Ventura wanted a union in what 86/87 and there still isn't anything in place today. The amount that WWE/AEW make there should be health insurance, pensions etc
I love this series So famous and relevant that even former legends appear on it One hell of segment on that bump Thank god buff bagwell came out of it Buy it was scary and the first hand account invaluable Standing ovation
Hell yea that was cool. Love to see these older guys that we grew up with. Seeing DDP was cool a few weeks ago or whatever. This is a great channel I look forward to these every Thursday.
Thank u for all u have done as I was growing up Buff Daddy... I'm a wrestler myself and at one point I was with a tag team called the straight jacket supermodels but in the locker room they called us Vicious and Delicious which I didn't find out till watching this show that that's actually what y'all called your tag team but I loved your tag team.. and I'm extremely happy to know that you made it out not paralyzed.. can't wait to hear the rest of your story next week..
This is the greatest channel on youtube! Amazing to see that you're able to get these legends and veterans to tell their stories. Can't wait to get through the rest of 1998 in 2023 :D
Mate now your getting the wrestlers to tell these side of the story been watching your videos from the beginning and you've been improving constantly congrats on how far you've come in a short time keep up the great work
Thanks for all your amazing work on this channel Mr. Wrestling Bios! You put so much work and dedication and it's all so much appreciated by everyone I'm sure! It also is helping me with my depression, it's a really rough time for me so thank you very much for keeping me distracted and entertained. Happy new year and see you in 2023!
I never really got why they built up Hogan vs Sting to only give Hogan the belt back like 5 months later it just feels like it meant nothing tbh. Good to get Buff Bagwell's side of his injury and how scary it was plus he looks really good
2:05 Finally, Germany's sporting hero is back. An entire country again has someone to cheer for! I've heard Aldi and Lidl are out of Bratwurst in celebration of this.
I've said it so many times watching your videos but the nostalgia is off the charts. God, I miss the 90s & the attitude era. My little self never knew it at the time but I was truly in the golden age of life, wrestling, & society.
I don’t remember the last time I’ve “tuned” in for any other show. Every Thursday I’m checking the page until I see the upload. Thanks for everything you do…you got me back into watching wrestling! 👍🏻

Another awesome upload from the wrestling channel on the planet with the most jam! This is the last reliving the war of the year. So thanks very much for all the content you put out. Especially the reliving the war series. So much work goes into it and it’s very much appreciated. I’ve even noticed other channels with similar content “uping” their game I think to try and compete with your channels content, which is second to none. 2023 will be such a great year for the reliving the war series. Covering the remainder of 98 into 99. As the war really takes off and WWF starts to leave WCW for dust. Also great to see buff bagwell on this episode too.
For someone who legit did NOT know anything about it, that bagwell ending was frightning. I gasped when I saw the slow mo. Also fantastic work to Mr Bios! at handling the editing of this one. Hands down my new all time GOAT for YT channel!!!

Honestly, really awesome you were able to get buff bagwell to recount what happened. You could've just went about and told it how it was, but instead you got the man in the flesh to do it. Really shows how great this channel is. Keep it up man! I absolutely love your content.
I always thought DX not being let into the arena was a big what if. What if they let them in, closed the shutter and had guys like the Steiners, Meng and others were waiting for them.
I will say I watched that Bret and Hogan segment it felt big and Heenan really sold how big that face to face was with his line "I don't think they've ever spoke"
Alex Wright has returned I thought he had left WCW. Great to have him back again - showing how to bust those moves lol Disco Inferno watch out the Daddy is back lol
This is my only way to watch WWF and WCW now thanks to Australia not having any old PPV or shows on the new subscription. It's horrible. You're an absolute legend mate. Keep it up
When Buff was telling his tale, only because I knew he turned out, ok-ish in the end, but it was a laugh riot. It’s so good to be able to laugh along with him. What a great story teller.
Getting Buff to do the interview is fascinating. Well done.
Indeed. Plus the Braves jersey is appropriately epic

Steve Mufuggin Blackman once went skydiving. When he landed he promised never to do it again. One Grand Canyon is enough

Happens in combat sport When your knocked out. You lay the person on their side
No doubt. It’s brutal to rewatch and even worse after hearing him recount it
Yeah I marked out when saw you book thee Marcus Alexander bagwell
The fact that struck me the most was that Scott Steiner who is universally known as a meat head did the spot so fast.
😮
Whether you're team WCW or team WWF, we are all team Wrestling Bios and reliving the war! Thanks for a fantastic year ❤️
Amen brother, but we all know it's WCW FOR LIFE!!!
The 🐐 of YT for sure.
It's so awesome that DDP has embraced your videos and helped with this stuff, and big thanks to Buff for agreeing to give his thoughts as well!
I always enjoyed hearing their side of what happened and this was no different, yea but that must have been scary for Buff at the time
Buff the stuff
Almost 25 years ago and Buff's injury still looks brutal. I remember watching it live and time took forever for the ambulance to help out Buff. Its good to see him looking better these days.
Last I heard about Buff he was a gigolo
It was legit one of the scariest things I'd seen in wrestling at the time, rivalled only by Austin's neck injury and Sid's ankle injury.
I had a friend insisting it was a work back then. Looking at the footage there is absolutely no way.
@@stenzel27 I still can't watch Sid's injury. I've seen it once and that was enough for me.
I remember watching it live as well. But for some reason I thought Buff preformed his block buster. Yeah it seem like a very long time
It's so cool that DDP is a fan of this show. Reliving The War is one of those shows that has brought a community together.
That line from Bret about wrestling being "where good men die like dogs" is really unfortunate in hindsight.
Also, good to see Buff is doing better!

Pretty terrifying moment for buff Bagwell. Very interesting to hear his perspective on the situation. I’m happy he ended up OK
