Buff’s story was equal parts horrific and miraculous at the same time. I’m so glad he was alright because he gave us all quality entertainment for years. Thanks, Buff.
Still props to wrestling bios getting Bagwell’s side of what could have been a horrific injury, once again I’m glad seeing Marcus Buff Bagwell doing well, he was the guy we enjoyed to hate and he was underrated in the ring
It is truly wonderful to see Buff Bagwell in such good spirit. More than that, it really seems like he has matured alot in recent years and I genuinely wish the very best for him.
Alex Wright breaking out a chair to do his dance broke me big time. And also Vince McMahon dancing with Mick Foley and the dudettes in front of Austin was the icing on the cake. 😆😆😆
Bro I’m not going to go into a sad life story because everyone has their own probs but your videos and consistency mean the world to me. It reminds me of a time before life kicked my ass. You’re the man dude. Thank you so much for this series
I loved hearing Buff’s story. I can’t imagine going through what he went through but I was so glad it didn’t end his career. Buff in 1999 and 2000 was so ridiculously entertaining for me.
ONE OF Vince McMahon's most laudable qualities is his total willingness to make an ass out of himself on live national TV for the sake of his product, and we're about to see his greatest moments over the next year or so of Reliving The War. Also, hearing Buff Bagwell talk about nearly getting paralyzed has me dreading the moment we see it happen to Droz. That's going to be a tough one to revisit.
You ain't wrong I remember when I was kid watching the episode where Austin attacked Mr McMahon in the hospital and he hit MrM with the bedpan my mum was howling with laughter even funnier as she's Scottish and it carries.
We also are a little over the year away from Over the Limit 1999 as well. That as well will be an episode to dread. I know Bios will do a very good job in regards to both of these episodes, but yea its gonna be a tough couple of episodes.
The worst part of this show is the fact that one day it will be over. Thank you for everything you do for us wrestling fans Ryan. Can't wait to see what will come next after the war ends.
Buff is the stuff. I always liked Buff, I dunno why I just did. He amused me as a teenager when I watched this stuff live. Thank you for doing this whole series. This is pure gold and I love it so much.
The ending of RAW was one of the funniest ways to end the program. Vince dancing like that caught Austin off guard. J.R.'s commentary was hilarious as always.
I remember Bagwell's injury clear as day as a kid and it was one of those times you knew it wasn't a part of the show. To everyone's surprise he was back months later and I was so happy he was back. So scary
I remember watching the Buff injury live. It was such a scary moment because, even though he was a heel, Buff really was beloved. You could tell he was always having a great time in his mischief. So glad to get his take on this moment. Thanks to Buff and Wrestling Bios!
Really cool to see Buff give his account of that whole incident. I'm so glad he was able to make a comeback... its just a shame that WWE just set him up to fail. Smh, what could of been.
I don't care what anyone says, Buff was great! I always got a kick out of him back in the day! So glad to see him doing well and I really enjoyed him telling the story of his injury, man when you see it in slow motion you can tell just how brutal that was and how close he was to being paralyzed for the rest of his life.
I was 5 when I started watching Monday night wars in 1996. I was young and have some holes in my memories but this series really help me fill them out.
Im just glad someone else is such a fan of Steve MuFugin Blackman as I was. The genius of this show is intoxicating and I love getting my weekly fix!! Youre the Best bio's!
You bringing on these old upper mid card and main event legends for interviews is awesome. I hope you can find more wrestlers like DDP and Buff Bagwell that are willing to tell their stories. There is so much value in those.
BUFF! I began watching WCW in 2001 - you were always one of my favorites! I still have your figure on display! You are an amazing story teller - I hope to hear more from you!
Dude Love may not have been the best heel especially for a weird storyline with Austin, but him dancing with Vince in front of Austin was gold. Seeing Bagwell break down what happened in that match and is in good health is great to see. Bless him and I have a newfound respect for him
If Farooq and Blackman ever wrestled Meng and Barbarian, it would have been the manliest match ever booked. The ring would have exploded and all the women in the audience would have left impregnated 🤣
It's segments like the one with Buff and his harrowing story and just your content in general that really cement you as a staple of my Sub list, great content as usual.
Now that we have Marcus Bagwell here, let me tell you that one of your themes was used for anime called " Gorilla Force(Grupo Especial Gorila in Spanish) and was one of the best songs I've ever heard in my childhood. Thank you so much, Marcus!
"Hey Buff! welcome back, we heard we need to be extra safe in order to protect you after your injury, so here's our plan, we do the same move that almost ruined your life and let's have you also work with Goldberg" 😂 So Savage, but im glad to see Buff looking well!
This was my first ever Raw (although I actually saw it on livewire 8 days later). The amazing Foley love shack promo was my first experience of professional wrestling. No Wonder I was hooked right away.
I love the “he’s an animal!” Hart brothers cut away every time you show that. It makes me laugh so much! I am currently reading Hitman. It is a book about the life of Bret Hart written by the man himself. So far an excellent read. Very cool to have the neck injury explained by Buff Bagwell himself. So glad he was ok and able to recover and I was happy to hear Sting and Luger rode with him and cared for him in that ambulance ride.
Usually I am not a huge fan of Buff's interviews, but hearing his story was painful. I had a work accident and my C4-C7, we're knackered; the doctor told me the same thing: one wrong slip, rear end, or fall and I'd be a paraplegic. I'm glad to see he's turned things around.
I know this will probably never been seen by him, but Thank you so much for coming on and explaining your story Buff. My brother had almost the same thing happen in football, and he even said the "hot water" detail. Cool (as it can be) to hear his experience from another mouth. Such an good story, seeing as we know the outcome. Thank you Buff
I have been working for the last 3 months with Thursday as my Monday. I can't tell you how much I look forward to your videos after work. Thank you Wrestling Bios.
Great video once again, still really cool that DDP and Buff got on board with telling their side and letting you use them in your videos, gotta make it this series feel even more worthwhile when the guys who were living it wanna have a part.
On a serious note wwe should hire you and take you and your reliving the war series to wwe network. No bs mate. A know it would mess it up for the TH-cam but a would love to see you get the props you deserve pal. It’s one of the best on TH-cam. Nostalgia is always a seller. Great work honestly
Nothing in wrestling makes me laugh even all these years later like Eddie Guerrero putting a towel on his head during those Chavo matches. Dude was so legendary for so long.
I seriously appreciate you making these videos . And thank you for reaching out to these wrestlers to be in these videos. I pop for them like a Steve Austin return lol
Buff, You truly are the man and amazing person. Thanks for teaming up with Wrestling Bios to continue the wrestling brotherhood. Everyone always says you tell stories so well and yes your stories are great and we love to hear you tell it. You're Buff and your the Stuff.
As a fan it is beyond cool to hear from Buff himself about that night. Myself and a few friends met at my friends house for his birthday and we watched this when it happened, it killed the mood because we were all little buffamaniacs and we were all bummed out thinking he was legit hurt. We knew later he was fine but again it's cool hearing this story and reliving that memory.
Damn I was doing field work for a week remembered Thursday was my daily dose of classic wrestling, finally back home have to catch up with my wrestling bios....I love this channel
Again great to see Buff Bagwell tell a story that was very interesting but probably terrifying for him at the time He’s actually one of those guys who was great at his role and I’d love to here more from about his WCW days
Am I the only one who legit clapped a few times after buff's interview? That was so great. Love all the wrestling folk showing love to this show and channel, it is so deserved.
Damn I love The Stuff. I'm so happy to see that story have a happy ending. Most wrestling stories don't. Good to see you still doing well and you seem happy. Made my damn day.
This episode of raw featured one of my favorite wrestling matches ever aired on free tv. Mick and Terry Funk really put on a show here and it's a shame WWE never gave us more between those two.
I love how they presented Kane's wound. They browned up the bandages to give it that seeping plasma, weeping wound look. Brilliant It's the little things they used to protect the story, character, mythos and the business. edit: Also it would have been cool to sell that the Devastating Chokeslam has been nullified due to the injury. One line of dialog can give you 3 weeks. But no, Russo's mommy issues are the lead. Neat
Buff’s story was equal parts horrific and miraculous at the same time. I’m so glad he was alright because he gave us all quality entertainment for years. Thanks, Buff.
22:48 buff the stuff was great
Buff still has the stuff.
I liked that he wasn't paralyzed. It's actually sort of a sweet story.
_How I thought I was paralyzed_
By Buff Bagwell
Glad he recovered, but he was an obnoxious character. Midcard act who thought he could be an upper-tier guy, and it was never going to happen.
@@mikeyellen362 absolutely
Hawk's "I can't see it!" caught me off guard. Very nice
Great opportunity to have brought in the Big Bratwurst but sadly it didn't happen.
I find it hilarious that as soon as Buff regained feeling in his body, he immediately hit a double bicep. 😂
Well, he *is* The Stuff after all
I wouldn't expect anything less from him.
@@bigblueboyscout1 It IS extremely on-brand. 🤣
He was healed enough lol😅😂
The run down from Buff was fantastic! You're making some of the best content on TH-cam, love all the work you put into this for us!

Buff Daddy 4 Life
This is my daily dose of pro wrestling
It is truly wonderful to see Buff Bagwell in such good spirit. More than that, it really seems like he has matured alot in recent years and I genuinely wish the very best for him.
Yeah cause when he was in his prime he was a DOUCHE. No other way around it.
Alex Wright breaking out a chair to do his dance broke me big time. And also Vince McMahon dancing with Mick Foley and the dudettes in front of Austin was the icing on the cake. 😆😆😆
@19:54 "and of course I go up do a double-bicep"
Yeah of course, man!
Legend
the effort this man puts into his videos is unreal! brings back the nostalgia for us all...top man!
Agree 100%!! Makes my day!
Legend.
Best wrestling channel on TH-cam by far.
Bro I’m not going to go into a sad life story because everyone has their own probs but your videos and consistency mean the world to me. It reminds me of a time before life kicked my ass. You’re the man dude. Thank you so much for this series
I feel both halves of this comment.
@@Guardian978yup but we keep our heads held high

Sting & Lex riding along in the ambulance w/ Buff Daddy was the most kind & caring thing🙏
I loved hearing Buff’s story. I can’t imagine going through what he went through but I was so glad it didn’t end his career. Buff in 1999 and 2000 was so ridiculously entertaining for me.
The "F*** you Up" in the Steve Blackman intro kills me every single time...

I loved hearing buff explain it himself.
Never knew how crucial the Buff Bagwell injury was? Thanks for the interviews!
So good to see Buff Daddy looking good. Thanks for all the great memories. You're still the stuff!
The fact that Terry Funk added the shittest looking moonsault I've ever seen. To his move set, at the age of 53...Absolute legend.
It’s Thursday night, time to tune in for the weekly watch. It’s like the 90s all over again! ❤
132 episodes in and only getting better. Love your content brother we all appreciate it!
The worst part of this show is the fact that one day it will be over. Thank you for everything you do for us wrestling fans Ryan. Can't wait to see what will come next after the war ends.
We will need a Reliving of Reliving the War series when this is over 😮
@Arthur Reese show could jump to the TNA war after. Haha.
What about the Thursday Night War - there's two years worth of Thunder vs Smackdown that could be used for another series.
NBA playoff's could not have come at a worse time for WCW just as the McMahon Austin rivalry is heating up at the WWF was running away from them
Almost like McMahon calculated that PERFECTLY hmmmm. Lol
Buff is the stuff. I always liked Buff, I dunno why I just did. He amused me as a teenager when I watched this stuff live. Thank you for doing this whole series. This is pure gold and I love it so much.

I am still laughing at the edit of Bret telling DX to "... shut up."
scott stiener legit shedding a tear in a promo. the man is a legend.
Very smart ending to Nitro...a great foreshadowing of the "Insider" Bret Hart angle and gimmick.
