He told me in the beginning to hold the start button for a couple seconds and the whole routine needs to be done in 10 seconds or less or it won't work.
Just had a repair man tell me I needed a new washer or a $600 repair. I came to youtube; a $23 part from amazon and two 3 minute videos and my washer is working better than before!
Update: I ended up hating get a new washer because the wash plate in the bottom of the drum wasn’t working. It proved impossible to remove it so out it went. I now have a commercial grade Maytag set and I LOVE it. It fit perfectly in the space without sticking out too far. Also a load is washed and dried in about 34-45 minutes!!!

I have this exact machine and wouldn’t you know it, three years and three months after purchasing (three months past the three year warranty expired) my washer decided to get stupid. This actually worked! I’m absolutely thrilled to have had this work after taking the machine apart to check for any other issues (issues I thought would have been more obvious). Mine suddenly started to drain when it wasn’t turned on and there was no way to stop it except for unplugging it. Thanks again for this! It has literally saved me hundreds of dollars between calling a repairman or purchasing a new washer. ❤
I got speed queen im gonna say maytag is decent but when it comes to spinning but speed queen tc5 washes your clothes aggressively with stains but the tc7 is quiet and washes your clothes gently
My grandparents have one, me and my dad went to their house and I saw it on in the laundry room and it was working good, it was spinning but no bang or nothing. It’s good u probably just gotta put not too much in the load or get a new suspension rod.

Mine does the same thing, have to keep opening the lid then closing repeatedly to fill to the right level. Then it agitates very slowly, basically clothes just sitting in soapy water

For people complaining about the lighs not coming on - someone in the comments is saying that there might be condensation on the circuit board. Take a q-tip and some alcohol and wipe down the circuit board. It's supposed to work after that. I am just paroting what I read in the comments
I did this and all lights turned off. But, the washer isn’t spinning out all the way. The clothes are still wet. I tried drain and spin, but it starts like it’s going to spin then start shaking.
I watched two many videos and have messed up calibration, so now when I do the simple calibration, the lights all blink, I turn button to rinse, I press on start, the lights start blinking, but the machine never locks.
What are the other lights before you get to rinse for? (after you turn it left right right left right left. Then you go right right, those two options and the ones after rinse, what are they for??)

Its a low water washer like 99% of modern top load washers. They are built this way, its normal. Don't pour buckets of water in it as you will actually cause it to have a problem doing this. The machine will think its flooding.
@shuuup1 what you have to do is read the user's manual and follow it exactly as it says to a tee or the machine won't operate correctly. I know it's ridiculous but that's what you have to do.

These are super easy to work on. Shocks are easy to change gear case is easy to change. They only last 4-5 years before you have to change something.

My MIL 's. Samsung top loaing washer wouldn't drain, her pump was clogged. I rook her pump apart and cleaned it out and that fixed hers.

I HAD TO USE COLD WATER ONLY AFTER TIME HARD WATER GUNKED THE HOSE CLEANED IT WORKS PERFECTLY
