I'm an Indian and am deeply saddened by these floods in Pakistan. We do follow the updates on flood there and it's alarming. I remember the Peshawar school attacks news too and I haven't come across anything more heartbreaking than that. There's nothing above humanity afterall no matter what.

For someone living now in Australia, I’m so saddened by the floods, the number of people affected in Pakistan by the floods is more than the entire population of Australia! Let that sink in! this is so disheartening! I feel helpless, except for donating to relief charity! Sending my prayers to the good people of Pakistan! This is climate change in action, caused by the western countries who use fossil fuels and produce more emission, as outside the Polar region Pakistan has huge glaciers, these are melting due to human contribution for carbon emission! The west should pay reparations not charity to countries struggling with climate change !

I am Indian. I do not care that Bollywood didn't acknowledge Pakistani floods. I am from the South where many villages have been washed out in the last few years and Bollywood doesn't come out in support there either. I am with Aamna and its all #politics and #dontcare attitude. Everyone is also afraid of the #cancelculture.

I have lived through the' 90s India where both religions were killing each other and we sat at home for weeks on end with no school. I grew up being afraid as a child to walk my own gallis to walk to school. I grew up with my own neighbors celebrating a Pakistani cricket match victory in India. Frankly PLEASE keep politics out of your discussions. I respect, admire and enjoy your content and it always leaves a bad taste in my mouth when Hassan bhai makes these offhanded comments about "extremism" against minorities in India (this is not the first time either that Hassan has mentioned this). I prayed for Pakistani brothers and sisters who r suffering from flood. In my daily prayers specially I pray for India and my neighboring countries who r suffering from calamities.
As an Indian and a genuine well wisher of peace and harmony we are all deeply saddened by whatever has happened in Pakistan. Please don't be offended by Bollywood stars, unfortunately the ones who openly speak up are always on the losing end. No one here expects much from these stars except entertainment. I have something to say to say about why Bollywood is silent about the Pakistani floods.
First, because there is not much national media coverage on it. As it used to happen in past. Leave Pakistan floods, our own North Indian state, Assam didn't get much coverage when it was wrecked with floods.
Second, Since, extremism is such a big issue in both the countries (nowadays more than ever), b town celebrities have already incurred so many losses in terms of image and finances due to their 'not so serious statements' not only made in the present but the ones made in past too. There's an agenda going on against them and their movies. Boycott has really affected the movie business which was already marred by covid. So much so that they have to let go of their fees for the movies to compensate the distributors and producers.
Please understand, it's not only the star that gets affected, it's also the people associated with the production of the movie. They cannot risk all of it with another step that may irk the netizens. Trollers and politicians are to blamed for it. Not the celebrities.
After all, charity begins at home. 🙏
And would expect an actor(Mehwish here) to atleast understand why they can't do that.
Third, people here are saying, 'When Assam was flooded, did any of pakistan starts (specially the ones who have worked in Indian film industry) make any statement or provided us funds?
So, it goes both ways.

Ummm when it comes to Bollywood i would just say Pakistan has had their share of questionable govt.s in the past. We all know nationalistic govt. Censors to no limits, and sadly not everybody can leave the country. It's not so much about pettiness as is about silencing of public opinion and lack of freedom of speech! Recently Ranbir's beef comments from years ago have come back to haunt him, nobody can think about talking about Pakistan, sorry to say.. they're just silenced

So people here are just playing safe and nothing else. Today itself Ranbir and Alia were stopped from entering a temple because some years back Ranbir somewhere said he loves beef. So you might know now what's the situation here.

If you do make comments about other nations, religion etc, would appreciate you do it after detail analysis and studying facts . Social media is nameless, faceless. Its easy to use it by anyone to create divisions. Quite a lot of analysis has shown that the tweets against some of our players who you have called out now and in a past match few months back have come from outside India. So for us, it easily means a plot to create divide in our country.
Some of the ban culture could also be a marketing gimmick in today's commercial world devoid of ethics .
If you talk about majority vs minority, it can easily be said that since our majority religion doesn't get practiced globally, we face unreasonable challenges from outside just because of it. (a simple example is your platform talking incessantly about this without hard facts)
I would like everyone to always remember, religion is a belief system and can't be greater than humanity. The supreme power created humans and humans created belief systems (religions). No one can be absolutely sure which religion our forefathers practiced, 7-8-9 generations back and which religion our future generations would follow.So feels bad (immature if I may say so) when other religions, politics with religious connotations in other countries get alluded by yourselves so many times, so casually.
Regarding tweeting on floods, many parts of our country experience devastating floods every year, and the celebrity expecting tweets for her country would not even have known about it, forget tweeting or helping. Its immature of her (for want of a better word), to have made such a tweet.
As humans, we always support people facing challenges everywhere and do so with you and your people. May God bless everyone and keep them safe.

Age is a contentious issue. By the time an average desi person reaches 60 they have one foot in the grave the other on a banana skin. Our desi women folk often decline quicker than the men, although a fraction of lightweight men tend to let go of themselves as soon as they get married / have kids… out comes the trusted beer gut. Why have a 6 pack when you can have a barrel of laughter… eh. Yes. Those sandal and socks wearing uncle types. On the other hand, people in the West tend to be mobile and self sufficient well past 70,80 and even 90. Give and take some health issues. Maybe desi people back home especially tend to age quicker because of the added stress that gets put on them. They put a shelf life on when to get married by. Shaadi ho geyi, batchay paida karo, eik hogeya, to cricket team chaahie. Then stress about raising them and then get them married and then fight with their spouses and cause family feuds that last… us waqt tak insaan ki bas ho chukki hoti hai. Tangey dubaa do mantra ban jata hai. Either the teeth go or the knees. Desi people have no chill.

Before I start, a disclaimer : I am a proud Indian Hindu, so many are gonna get hurt. Expecting anything from Bollywood celebrities specially the creamy layer is a stupidity. They are the people who don't even care what is happening in there very own country. These are the people who are far from reality and who do a thing only if it is advised by their PRs. Expecting anything from them is a complete waste of mental and emotional energy. Now coming to the point of extremism.. calling out a certain group of people for behaving extremist is different but saying that there is extremism everywhere around the entire country especially when you don't even live there and are completely unaware of the ground realities is absolutely different and shouldn't be appreciated. A handful of comments for or against the government or the country or the majority can't draw a complete sketch of what's happening in India. Pakistan and India both were the same land just 75 years ago but in those 75 years both have grown apart, have had their respective course and challenges, their post independence history is very different thus it would be better that both the Nations and their nationals understand this before making any comment regarding each other. Definitely people in India are aware of the devastating floods in Pakistan and people in this country at least have that much of humanity that they pray and have sympathy for those who have lost everything in these floods. The only difference is that most of us don't show it off on Twitter or any other social media but discuss it in our circles or drawing rooms, also many parts of India are suffering from floods as well so we have ample of issues to talk about and look after in our very own land, but whenever we see any such news be it from our own country or Pakistan we definitely pray for them that ’Bhagwan wahaan sabhi ki raksha karein aur unhe sahas de'.
Bollywood right now is going through the worst phase and anything and everything top bollywood actors say or do are twisted and used against them. So if they tweet anything related to pakistan then a certain group of people will label them as anti nationals and create problems when their movies release.

Banglore is a city that's facing a flood, Karnataka as a whole state isn't. Its like Mumbai getting flooded once the city gets a good amount of rain.
Bollywood not making good movies nowadays is true but actors getting trolled or boycotted for what they say is not right. If people in India can forget all the extreme stuff all these politicians says and do and make them win elections again and again then people can atleast give blind eye to dumb statements made by some actors. Arrogance of Khalil ur Rehman Qamar is unbelievable and sickening. The way he talked about Mahira in that show and the way he talked to mona lisa, that was way more bad than the way he talked about mehwish or humayoun. Ahmed should have never talked about that topic to that one of a kind person(in bad way).

Muslims and Sikhs are doing really well for themselves in India as you can see them at good posts n even in sports. Wherein in Pakistan you will hardly see a Hindu at a good job or any sports.
