    Exploring Leh's diverse culinary scene is an adventure in itself, offering a tantalizing mix of traditional Ladakhi flavors and international cuisines. In today's episode, guided by the knowledgeable Rigzin Chodon, a proud local, an independent researcher and fellow food enthusiast, we embark on a three-part journey through the vibrant food culture of this city.
    Our gastronomic exploration commences at the charming Bread Lane of Chutay Rantak, where the enticing aroma of freshly baked bread beckons us. Here, we meet Naseer bhai, celebrated for his artisanal bread crafted in traditional tandoors. Sampling his kulcha and taftan is such a joy, each bite bursting with warmth and flavor straight from the oven.
    Next we visited Lalaji, a jovial Punjabi gentleman who shares his heartfelt journey of settling in Leh while running a sewing supply store. His personal anecdotes add a touching dimension to our exploration.
    Continuing with our endeavour, we indulge in the flavors of Ladakh with a visit to De Khambir Restaurant, where the delightful egg cheese khambir left our taste buds singing. Engaging in conversation with Tsetan Dolma, one of the dynamic owners, we are inspired by her dedication to preserving Leh's culture and traditions.
    Delving further into the region's rich heritage, we immerse ourselves in the captivating history showcased at the Central Asian Museum, each visit offering insights into Ladakh's past and cultural exchanges along the ancient silk route.
    As the day draws to a close, we bid farewell to Rigzin and culminate our journey at Namza Dining. Founded in 2016 with a mission to revive the lost cuisines of Ladakh, Namza Dining presents a feast of hand-crafted dishes inspired by the ancient silk route. From zathuk to yarkandi pulao, each dish is a testament to the deep passion and expertise of the culinary team. The serene ambiance enhances the dining experience, leaving us with memories of a truly exceptional culinary adventure in Leh.

    Nice to hear anecdotes of Hoshiarpuri uncle. May such respect for local culture and geo-climate remain forever. Also the way the host guides the guest about religion in ladakh besides buddhists and muslims is commendable.

    What a tradition, to get 'fresh warm bread daily morning n have wth ur tea' !
    A lot was learnt from the two outlets displaying locally sourced products n selling them too.... the first one where people from remote villages have a platform to sell what they make... n the second one which was one of its kind, having a water refill counter... the vitamin C rich berry juice... n various products with 'no preservatives' n ' no artificial sugars', which have long term health benefits, so what a small shelf life... should b promoted so tht people can enjoy n make these a part of their day to day eating habits...
    And ya, the museum... quite a collection of utensils used locally, (shapes, material, purpose n function,) along wth their names...
    At last, the soaked apricot dessert seems the ideal meetha to end :)

    Hi Anubhav - Really appreciate the work you are doing so far and I am watching your videos since 2 years approx I remember. Not sure if you really take suggestions from anyone but what would I request/suggest you is to make episodes into parts for a specific location if you really feel interested.     Can anyone guess the price of the dish.....yaksha with tingmo at 35.54....please guess.....and i will tell you how disappointed i am with Mr.Sapru...how fake were the expressions.
    And also price of Yarkhandi pulao...though taste of that was good.

    Yak aka beef has very different taste to all meats... It has yellow fat which is not found in any other meats also when dried it can sustain it self from fungus...

    sir, thoda intro par dhyaan dijiye. most of ur episodes just start randomly without informing where you are. aur kab tak logo ke ghar mein ghus ke khana khaate rahenge ? i understand that showing culture n tradition of different communities is important & informative but aapke aadhe se zyaada videos mein all i see is u inside someone's home. no wonder ur views are going down & there is a big gap between ur views n likes. please look into these things..
