Organifi Green Juice Review (Updated) - What About the Dosage?

  • Organifi is one of the most talked-about and popular makers of green superfood powder. They have some big-name endorsers, and chances are you've seen their supplements marketed somewhere online. We wanted to take a deep dive on Organifi with everything from taste to ingredients, price, and more.
    Note: We receive free products to review and participate in affiliate programs, where we are compensated for items purchased through links from our site. See our disclosure page on BarBend.com for details.
    So what did we think of Organifi's Green Juice? First off, it's worth noting that this product REALLY focuses on antioxidants and one of its star ingredients, ashwagandha. So while you might not find a TON in the way of micronutrients listed on the ingredient label, you'll need to dig a level deeper - which we were happy to do.
    What we found was a number of ingredients with some interesting research behind them, along with a supplement that tasted pretty good when compared to a lot of similar products on the market.
    Organifi’s Green Juice “gently dried superfood powder” is a little unusual in that it focuses on ingredients like ashwagandha and moringa oleifera, which have been shown in some studies to provide cognitive benefits and anxiety relief.
    However, we did have a few potential concerns, and most of them related to dosage. I dive into deeper detail on that in my full review above.
    Who is Organifi Green Juice right for, and what were our pros and cons for this superfood powder? Watch above to get our full take!
    Have you tried Organifi before? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below!

    How can you review it, only minutes after you try it? The review should be weeks after you try it. It's not the flavor that is the issue with these, it's the health effect.

    Awesome break down of this product, and it's ingredients. I would love to hear more about these super foods and their recommended dosages from you. I'll browse your channel now and hope to find some more cool stuff. :)
    Okay I didn't really find what I was looking for. Don't get me wrong these reviews are helpful, and super well done, but you guys should really do just an episode or so dedicated to foods and diet, without necessarily the powder and supplements. Just my two cents. Anyway, subscribed. :) Cool channel.

    Cut out sugar, fast food and high glycemic carbs and do a moderate exercise program. Use something like this as a supplement 2 to 4 times a week. Try that for 30 days and most people will see they don't need to buy expensive products, at least not to use daily. If you buy things like this and still eat a bad diet you will feel about the same and maybe have more bloating.

    These were precisely my concerns this product. The ad sold me to at least try it. And when I received the bottle it was very small for the price. And when I read the label. It just had its basic nutritional value it didn't list all the vitamins that it's supposed to provide. I've given some to my parents and stuff and had to explain to everyone who I told about " the stuff that is in has all these effects but I can't say the powder itself will have the same effects "

    Actual ingredients are not regulated and not disclosed so it's a crap shoot. This is a very pricy instant "green food". Lot's of marketing and hype and lot's of money to be made for this trendy hipster drink. Many reviewers are affiliates of the company so it's more of a marketing strategy and lot's of wannabe health conscious hipsters are buying these ridiculously expensive drink. It's still way better than drinking a cup of Starbuck a day so at least that's a plus for the hipsters. Eat your vegetables, drink your water, incorporate exercise as part of your daily life, get your sleep,, organize your life and prioritize, lessen your stress level, make it a habit of listing your daily goals and check them off. Eat your seafood and eat your grass-fed meat. Omega-3 is good. Legumes, nuts like walnuts, vegetables, and fresh fruit are good. Avoid highly processed sugar as that is more dangerous than cholesterol for your cardio. Finish your day with a glass of wine. You're welcome.

    What is in it that is going to make you feel an immediate increase in energy? The only things I'm aware of tht will do that, is caffeine, sugar, or amphetamines. I'm a little leary of anything that gives an instantaneous result. It's either just hype , or dangerous.

    • @HyperactiveSloth79
      @HyperactiveSloth79 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      There's a difference between stimulants and metabolic aids. You can experience the benefits of metabolizers by eating a whole chopped fresh garlic clove combined with vitamin C. Wait about an hour and you'll feel like you're ready for a workout. You can amplify this effect by including beetroot and/or matcha to further raise nitric acid levels and other compounds that make your blood sugar more readily available to your muscles. It's that easily accessed blood sugar that gives you that feeling of "energy."

    • @ronmay5589
      @ronmay5589 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Jeremy Thomas Vitamins don't give you energy. They just help your body assimilate the food you eat. The whole energy claim from vitamins is nonsense used to sell these stupid green drinks. Organifi doesn't even list the specific ingredients. I tried a couple containers of it, and it does nothing,. It's a placebo effect for those that think they feel better. Try "Green Vibrance,".. it lists every ingredient on the container , and actually provides all other vitamins, and nutrients you need.

      You got me thinking about that and the connection with matcha green tea, which does have caffeine. I'm not a big fan of the stuff, though it is said to be okay in moderate doses. I don't know how much of matcha they put in this, but I'm not sure I need or want a caffeine stimulate every day. Thanks for the review, @

    • @HyperactiveSloth79
      @HyperactiveSloth79 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      "Processed" sugars are what was referred to. There is no "sugar" added to the product. The sugar content listed in it is naturally occuring sugars from the plants themselves. If you go pick any fresh fruit right from the tree and eat it you'll be consuming many grams of sugar because that (along with starches) is how plants store calories. There is a HUGE difference between naturally occuring forms of glucose, sucrose, etc that the body can efficiently utilize found in fruits compared to things like high-fructose corn syrup that has been refined into nearly pure free sugars that the body has to cannibalize nutrients from its own cells in order to metabolize.
