excellent review and demonstration. I want an air hammer for automotive work, and considering this as it has the chisel/chipping mode and is cordless, is this a bad idea? is it strong enough to separate 25yr old rusty y-pipe flanges? or just buy compressor and air hammer?

That's a good question, this is Dewalts new roto hammer, I'm sure it can separate pipe flanges..
