I have a video on a good seaming stitch that would work well for this. Invisible Seamless Stitch for seaming two knitted pieces together. th-cam.com/video/tmFW92p7D38/w-d-xo.html Check it out.
Hi, I really love the look of this scarf! Since I knit for donation, I was wondering if this is suitable for stripes? It would give me the opportunity to use up small amounts of leftover yarn. Thank you for sharing this lovely pattern.😊
Hello. Excellent idea and I think stripes would look lovely and make it really fun. I would experiment a bit on when a good spot would be to change colors. Either after row 4 and every four rows or perhaps after row three where you are incorporating the lacy part of the pattern. Have fun. I’m sure it will be beautiful.
Could you also do this lengthwise, with solid perl rows with k2tog and yarn over knit? I’m have issues with the perl 2 together. I’m dropping stitches. Would it get the same look? Relatively new knitter here.
Yes. If you do everything the opposite of the pattern you’ll have the same look. So your pattern will be like this: Row 1: Purl all Row 2: Purl all Row 3: P1, K1, (YO, K2tog) repeat between () till last stitch, P1 Row 4: Purl all Hope that helps. I’m sure your scarf will look fantastic!!
Hi I love your videos so much! I am trying this knit (I am definitely still a beginner) but I am finding that I am increasing my stitches every 4 rows. I know you mention that a decrease is necessary but I followed you and still ended with 17 stitches instead of my original 13. I’d love to hear any advice for this!
Hello. Thanks for reaching out. I’m glad you enjoy these videos. I’m thinking you may be forgetting to do the Purl two together (P2tog). That creates a decrease which is off set by the increase you did with the Yarn Over. So on row 3 which reads K1, P1, (YO, P2tog) repeat between () till last stitch, K1 …. Be sure you are doing the YO and then the P2tog and repeat those two stitches as needed to the last stitch. This should keep the number of stitches the same throughout your project. Hope that is helpful. Good luck with it. I’m sure it will turn out beautiful.
This is another great one! Nice and easy! I made a basket a while back using that same yarn and colorway. Thanks for these relaxing stitch patterns!😊
Wonderful! I find I often favor that mustard color.
I especially love it in the fall. 😊
Love this! Any special seaming suggestions?

Thank you so much for responding so promptly! I shall have to give it a try.😊
Hi, do you have to use double pointed needles or can you use a regular needle?
You can certainly use straight needles. They would just have to be long enough to hold all your stitches.
@@jacqknits Thank you so much!! What size needles would you recommend?
I think I say in the video but for that super bulky weight yarn I would do a size US size 13.
