Hi - I want to thank you for this fabulous tutorial. Even I, a beginner could accomplish this beautiful throw. I just finished today, it's a large lap blanket size. And the edging is fabulous (so professional and finished) . It is so warm and my cats love to snuggle on mom's lap even more now. Thanks for sharing and continued success. I'm gearing up with a few smaller projects, the heart, another kitty bed and then I'm going to try Winnie the Poo. He is adorable. Love PegEgg
10/10 tutorial! I made my first blanket with the help of this video! Very easy to understand and follow :) Haha my blanket turned out a little wonky on one side, but I guess that’s just how beginning works 😅
Thank you soooo much for your patience in explaining how to hand knit ... you made things soooo simple and easily digestible. UBER KUDOS. I Am finally not afraid to make a chunky blanket and have it come out with Waves( I 😂laughed when you talked about the end loop and why you don't add it in or else your blanket will be wavy ) I have a whole bunch of ocean wavy end blankets, and I couldn't figure out what I was doing incorrectly...NOW I know. Thank you again for Sharing. 🎉🎊
I've watched SO many TH-cam videos and this just totally clicked for me. I'm pumped! Thank you for this video, I'm subscribed and see a long weekend day filled watching more of your videos. ❤️
Thank you so much for the tutorial! Im a young Crocheyer and i get very confused when it comes to tutorials and now that i have found this amazing video i now understand how to make a crochet blanket 😊
I’m so glad I came across your channel! Your video was very informative and easy to understand! I’m looking forward to creating my own blanket like of hand woven blankets!
You have such amazing tutorial videos ! Very easy to follow - great direction . I am a beginner and after many videos I was able to create my first video just from your video alone . Thank you ♥️
@@BeCoziit’s not shown in the video, you cut out and came back after you did all 7 skeins. I’m not sure how I’m supposed to connect my first skein to my second.
Thank you for the very clear, very calm, very detailed explanation, thanks for sharing the knowledge you are sharing the hope and influence the future of those who want to start, like me 🎉
Skipping the one stitch was tricky, do you have another video with more detail on that step? My blanket came out rounded and not square like yours, idk what happened! 😢
Sorry it was tricky. Please, knit the first stitch - it should be easier. It came out rounded probably because stitches were not of the same size: try to make all stitches about 1 inch high
I love this tutorial so much ❤ I have a few questions. What length (in meters) was the yarn and whether it is possible to use two yarns or three in order blanket to be longer? Because I found at home yarn with 9 meters and 15 meters, it would be enough for blanket like you do at the video? Thanks a lot ❤
I feel like when I hand knit I end up making a net rather than a blanket 😅 What can I do to fix this? Do I need to use needles to avoid making a net like blanket?
My first blanket ended up like that. I then tried making my loops a bit smaller and that really helped. 😊 I have made a few more blankets for family members and I learned how by following this channel. So many great videos!

My yarn came in smaller bunches, how would I connect them all to make the blanket? Should I tie them together and knit like normal still?
Sooo beautiful.. i always struggle finding the middle loop 😢

I love your videos and yarn! Do you think you will make the confetti merino wool yarn in a chenille version?
Thank you! Will try!
Wait how do you add another yarn when you run out of the first ball of yarn ? How do you continue it with another ball of yarn?
I am showing it in the middle of the video, please, watch the video to see it
I’m sorry that this comment is really late, but can you please do a time stamp? Sorry for commenting this a year later.

@@BeCozi could you please do a time stamp (minute and second in video)? I've watched it twice and can't find where you connected the second skein.
This is my very first project. How do I add a second skein?

Say I wanted to make a 60x40 throw…what is your preference as to what size the first cast on chain should be…60 or 40?
How do you add a new ball of yarn
I just finished a blanket using your video! How do you make it tighter to have less gaps?
Such a great tutorial!
Thank you!
How long does this take
I can’t catch on to the beginning where you go down and pick up middle stitch. Can I just the regular way but use how you do on sides?
sure
Tutorial was nice I just can’t get it to stay tight and mine is very messy. Any pointers?
Try to make stitches smaller - all of them about 1 inch high
how many stiches to start for a large blanket?
As many as you want

@@BeCozi how do you add in a new skein?
Can you pre wash the yarn? Thanks
Yes, if you would like.
How do you add on a new skein? Do you just make a knot between the first and second skein?
Please, watch a video, I am showing how to do it in this video
Do we did a new ball of yarn the same way that we would when knitting normally?
@@dianagraham4021 Not sure what the question is about?

Because I found at home yarn with 9 meters and 15 meters, it would be enough for blanket like you do at the video?

The yarn is 24-26 yards in one skein (22-24 meters) At last 5 skeins is needed for a small blanket which would be about 110 meters at least
@@BeCozi Thanks for answer❤️
Appreciate everything you doing !

By making a knot with two ends of the yarn
How do you count each row
Seems easy I just need a lap size thank you
This is an amazing tutorial and I would love it if you could have your yarn available at more locations 😢

Should the corners of the finished blanket be squared or more rounded?

How many skeins did you use for this blanket?
I am telling it in the video - 6 skeins of BeCozi Tie-dye chenille yarn in Pink sorbet color: becozi.net/collections/chunky-chenille-yarn
Combien de pelotes ?
Muchas gracias 😊
Why did this one require 25 stitches on the bottom and the others that you've made were only 21 or 23
Because I knitted this one tighter
got it!
